Sometimes the best way to prove the insanity of your opponents, is to give them exactly what they want
Here's something you don't see every day...a German politician fighting back against political correctness which has risen to the point of insanity.
In the parliament of Brandenburg recently, the Green Party introduced a bill to adopt a "Campaign for Acceptance of Gender and Sexual diversity, Self-Determination and against Homo and Trans-phobia in Brandenburg" as well as "Giving equal rights and societal equality for LGBTTQQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Trans, Two-spirit, Queer, Questioning) people in Brandenburg"
The Green Party, which still holds a substantial share of the vote in Germany, is notorious for their advocacy of homosexual marriage and adoption as well as pedophilia and promotion of "trans-gender" agendas. (One Green Party leader, Daniel Cohn-Bendit even openly bragged about raping kindergartners.)
Germany already has strict "hate speech" laws that effectively criminalize any criticism of racial or religious minorities - those laws may soon include criticism of someone's self-proclaimed "gender."
Enter Steffen Königer of Germany's new Alternative for Germany party (German acronym: AfD). AfD is known for being a Euroskeptic party which opposes mass immigration to Germany and political correctness. Königer rose to voice his party's opposition to the measure, which was also supported by the Left Party and the Social Democratic Party.
Not wanting to leave anyone out, Königer opened his speech "Dear Ladies and Gentleman..." and then took the complete list of 60 possible genders which has been adopted by Facebook, and proceeded to name each one in a salutation which lasted over 3 minutes. Even the establishment politicians sitting behind him could not fail to recognize the brilliance of his response.
There may be hope for Germany yet.

The Bundestag is set to vote on the withdrawal of German troops from Turkey’s Incirlik base following the Turkish government’s refusal to allow German lawmakers to visit the country’s soldiers at the site, in Berlin on Wednesday, June 21.
German troops have been deployed to Incirlik airbase to participate in an anti-IS campaign led by the US.
Earlier this month, the German cabinet approved a decision to relocate some 260 service personnel and six Tornado jets as well as a refueling aircraft to Jordan.

Of the 631 lawmakers almost half are conservatives - the Christian Democratic Union and her sister party, the Bavarian Christian Social Union, fell just five seats short of an absolute majority. Norbert Lammert of the Christian Democratic Union was elected parliamentary president with 95% of the votes cast.

The Reichstag building is a historical edifice in Berlin, Germany, constructed to house the Imperial Diet, of the German Empire. This imposing building houses the Federal German Parliament or "Bundestag" and was originally completed in 1894 to meet the need of the newly-unified German Empire of the Kaisers' for a larger parliamentary building. The Reichstag was intended to resemble a Renaissance palace, and its architect, Paul Wallot, dedicated the building to the German people.
The Nazi leader Adolf Hitler exploited the fire which gutted the Reichstag building in 1933 by blaming the Communists for the arson and for attempted revolution. There is good evidence to suggest, however, that his followers were actually responsible and that this was a manufactured crisis. When German reunification became a reality, the new republic was proclaimed here at midnight on the 2nd October 1990.
The Reichstag has undergone considerable restoration and alteration. The building is now the second most visited attraction in Germany (after the Cologne Cathedral), not least because the addition of a spectacular glass dome designed by the British architect Norman Foster. The large glass dome at the very top of the Reichstag has a 360-degree view of the surrounding Berlin cityscape. The main hall of the parliament below can also be seen from inside the dome, and natural light from above radiates down to the parliament floor.
The Reichstag building is well known in the art world thanks to Paris-based Bulgarian artist Christo's mammoth 'Wrapped Reichstag' project in 1995. The entire building was swathed in silver cloth for two weeks that summer. You can visit the dome for free but you will need to register online in advance in order to do so.

Bundestag
The Bundestag (German pronunciation: [ˈbʊndəstaːk], "Federal Diet") is a constitutional and legislative body at the federal level in Germany. For its similar function, it is often described as a lower house of parliament along the lines of the US House of Representatives and the Canadian or the British House of Commons. The German constitution, however, does not define the Bundestag and the Bundesrat as the lower and upper houses of a bicameral legislature.
The Bundestag was established by the Basic Law for the Federal Republic of Germany (Constitution) in 1949 as the Lower House of the German Federal Parliament and thus the historical successor to the earlier Reichstag.
Since 1999 it meets in the Reichstag Building in Berlin. Norbert Lammert is the current President of the Bundestag. Members (Abgeordnete) of the Bundestag are usually elected every four years by all adult German citizens in a mixed system of constituency voting and list voting. However, the election day can be earlier if the Federal Chancellor (Bundeskanzler) loses a vote of no confidence and asks the Federal President (Bundespräsident) to dissolve the Bundestag in order to hold new general elections.

Angela Merkel
Angela Dorothea Merkel (née Kasner; born 17 July 1954) is a German politician and former research scientist who has been the Chancellor of Germany since 2005 and the Leader of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) since 2000.
Having earned a doctorate as a physical chemist, Merkel entered politics in the wake of the Revolutions of 1989, briefly serving as a deputy spokesperson for the first democratically elected East German Government in 1990. Following German reunification in 1990, she was elected to the Bundestag for Stralsund-Nordvorpommern-Rügen in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, a seat she has held ever since. She was later appointed as the Minister for Women and Youth in 1991 under Chancellor Helmut Kohl, later becoming the Minister for the Environment in 1994. After Kohl was defeated in 1998, she was elected Secretary-General of the CDU before becoming the party's first female leader two years later in the aftermath of a donations scandal that toppled Wolfgang Schäuble.

AfD is known for being a Euroskeptic party which opposes mass immigration to Germany and political correctness. Königer rose to voice his party's opposition to the measure, which was also supported by the Left Party and the Social Democratic Party.
Not wanting to leave anyone out, Königer opened his speech "Dear Ladies and Gentleman..." and then took the complete list of 60 possible genders which has been adopted by Facebook, and proceeded to name each one in a salutation which lasted over 3 minutes. Even the establishment politicians sitting behind him could not fail to recognize the brilliance of his response.
There may be hope for Germany yet.

The Reichstag building is a historical edifice in Berlin, Germany, constructed to house the Imperial Diet, of the German Empire. This imposing building houses the Federal German Parliament or "Bundestag" and was originally completed in 1894 to meet the need of the newly-unified German Empire of the Kaisers' for a larger parliamentary building. The Reichstag was intended to resemble a Renaissance palace, and its architect, Paul Wallot, dedicated the building to the German people.
The Nazi leader Adolf Hitler exploited the fire which gutted the Reichstag building in 1933 by blaming the Communists for the arson and for attempted revolution. There is good evidence to suggest, however, that his followers were actually responsible and that this was a manufactured crisis. When German reunification became a reality, the new republic was proclaimed here at midnight on the 2nd October 1990.
The Reichstag has undergone considerable restoration and alteration. The building is now the second most visited attraction in Germany (after the Cologne Cathedral), not least because the addition of a spectacular glass dome designed by the British architect Norman Foster. The large glass dome at the very top of the Reichstag has a 360-degree view of the surrounding Berlin cityscape. The main hall of the parliament below can also be seen from inside the dome, and natural light from above radiates down to the parliament floor.
The Reichstag building is well known in the art world thanks to Paris-based Bulgarian artist Christo's mammoth 'Wrapped Reichstag' project in 1995. The entire building was swathed in silver cloth for two weeks that summer. You can visit the dome for free but you will need to register online in advance in order to do so.

The Reichstag building in Berlin was constructed to house the Reichstag, the first parliament of the German Empire. The Reichstag building is a historical edifice in Berlin, Germany, constructed to house the Imperial Diet, of the German Empire. This imposing building houses the Federal German Parliament or "Bundestag" and was originally completed in 1894 to meet the need of the newly-unified German Empire of the Kaisers' for a larger parliamentary building. The Reichstag was intended to resemble a Renaissance palace, and its architect, Paul Wallot, dedicated the building to the German people.
The Nazi leader Adolf Hitler exploited the fire which gutted the Reichstag building in 1933 by blaming the Communists for the arson and for attempted revolution. There is good evidence to suggest, however, that his followers were actually responsible and that this was a manufactured crisis. When German reunification became a reality, the new republic was proclaimed here at midnight on the 2nd October 1990.
The Reichstag has undergone considerable restoration and alteration. The building is now the second most visited attraction in Germany (after the Cologne Cathedral), not least because the addition of a spectacular glass dome designed by the British architect Norman Foster. The large glass dome at the very top of the Reichstag has a 360-degree view of the surrounding Berlin cityscape. The main hall of the parliament below can also be seen from inside the dome, and natural light from above radiates down to the parliament floor.
The Reichstag building is well known in the art world thanks to Paris-based Bulgarian artist Christo's mammoth 'Wrapped Reichstag' project in 1995. The entire building was swathed in silver cloth for two weeks that summer. You can visit the dome for free but you will need to register online in advance in order to do so.

The Reichstag building is a historical edifice in Berlin, Germany, constructed to house the Imperial Diet, of the German Empire. This imposing building houses the Federal German Parliament or "Bundestag" and was originally completed in 1894 to meet the need of the newly-unified German Empire of the Kaisers' for a larger parliamentary building. The Reichstag was intended to resemble a Renaissance palace, and its architect, Paul Wallot, dedicated the building to the German people.
The Nazi leader Adolf Hitler exploited the fire which gutted the Reichstag building in 1933 by blaming the Communists for the arson and for attempted revolution. There is good evidence to suggest, however, that his followers were actually responsible and that this was a manufactured crisis. When German reunification became a reality, the new republic was proclaimed here at midnight on the 2nd October 1990.
The Reichstag has undergone considerable restoration and alteration. The building is now the second most visited attraction in Germany (after the Cologne Cathedral), not least because the addition of a spectacular glass dome designed by the British architect Norman Foster. The large glass dome at the very top of the Reichstag has a 360-degree view of the surrounding Berlin cityscape. The main hall of the parliament below can also be seen from inside the dome, and natural light from above radiates down to the parliament floor.
The Reichstag building is well known in the art world thanks to Paris-based Bulgarian artist Christo's mammoth 'Wrapped Reichstag' project in 1995. The entire building was swathed in silver cloth for two weeks that summer. You can visit the dome for free but you will need to register online in advance in order to do so.

Of the 631 lawmakers almost half are conservatives - the Christian Democratic Union and her sister party, the Bavarian Christian Social Union, fell just five seats short of an absolute majority. Norbert Lammert of the Christian Democratic Union was elected parliamentary president with 95% of the votes cast.

Here's something you don't see every day...a German politician fighting back against political correctness which has risen to the point of insanity.
In the parliament of Brandenburg recently, the Green Party introduced a bill to adopt a "Campaign for Acceptance of Gender and Sexual diversity, Self-Determination and against Homo and Trans-phobia in Brandenburg" as well as "Giving equal rights and societal equality for LGBTTQQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, Trans, Two-spirit, Queer, Questioning) people in Brandenburg"
The Green Party, which still holds a substantial share of the vote in Germany, is notorious for their advocacy of homosexual marriage and adoption as well as pedophilia and promotion of "trans-gender" agendas. (One Green Party leader, Daniel Cohn-Bendit even openly bragged about raping kindergartners.)
Germany already has strict "hate speech" laws that effectively criminalize any criticism of racial or religious minorities - those laws may soon include criticism of someone's self-proclaimed "gender."
Enter Steffen Königer of Germany's new Alternative for Germany party (German acronym: AfD). AfD is known for being a Euroskeptic party which opposes mass immigration to Germany and political correctness. Königer rose to voice his party's opposition to the measure, which was also supported by the Left Party and the Social Democratic Party.
Not wanting to leave anyone out, Königer opened his speech "Dear Ladies and Gentleman..." and then took the complete list of 60 possible genders which has been adopted by Facebook, and proceeded to name each one in a salutation which lasted over 3 minutes. Even the establishment politicians sitting behind him could not fail to recognize the brilliance of his response.
There may be hope for Germany yet.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Friday told the German parliament, the Bundestag, that she continues to oppose a common financing of government debts in the eurozone. The creation of Eurobonds "will not contribute to overcoming the crisis," she said in a speech ahead of next week EU's summit on the euro in Brussels. Merkel told representatives that she expects it will take years to solve the crisis. The German government leader also said that she opposes a more active role of the European Central Bank, the ECB. Some have suggested that the ECB buy state debts of problem countries, in order to keep interest rates of for example Italy and Spain lower than they are now.
