Gnawa - all the SCP uploads

It's been a long time since there's been any activity over here at Snap, Crackle and Pop, but I thought it might be a good moment to start consolidating the archive here to make things a little easier for people to find what they're looking for.
With that in mind, here are all the cassettes and CD's of Gnawa or Gnaoua music we posted over the years in chronological order.

The download links for these albums all appear to be working so if you missed them first time round, here they all are:

Mahmoud Guinia - Aisha CD (originally posted September 2008)

Kwaku Baah & Ganaoua - Trance (October 2008)

Tyour Gnawa avec Abdessalam Allikane (October 2008)

More Mahmoud Guinia (with drum machine?) (November 2008)

Hassan Idbassaid - Gnaoua Del Son Int (Gnawa / Berber fusion) (January 2009)

Mahmoud Guinia - Mimouna (January 2010)

Maalem Ali el-Mansoum - Derdeba 1 (April 2011)

Mustapha Bakbou - Solo Guimbri (March 2012)

Mustapha Bakbou - Editions Hassania (March 2013)

Comments are always appreciated, I love to hear your views on life and music.

Trio Madjesi & Orchestre Sosoliso - Photo Madjesi

I think this may be the highlight of this year's finds, some supremely funky rumba from the Congo.  The influence of James Brown is clear and the addition of a keyboard sets Sosoliso's sound apart from many of the other rumba groups.  Check it out and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Tracklist:

01 Photo Madjesi 1 & 2
02 Moussa Photo Na Yo
03 Na Leli Mokili 1 & 2
04 Carte Blanche 1 & 2
05 Mama Tshika Ngai Malembi
06 Moseka
07 Cinema

Ustad Mahmud Mirza - Rag Darbari

This album of North Indian sitar music I picked up at today's boot sale is particularly mesmerising. If you click on the back sleeve you should see an enlarged image which allows you to read the very informative sleeve notes.  Or maybe you just want to immerse yourself in beautiful sound.

Tracklist:

01 Rag Darbari
02 Rag Kafi
