About
Annelie de Villiers has worked as an Assistant Research Archivist at the eScholarship Research Centre since 2014. Following a BA in Archaeology, Annelie completed a Masters of Business Information Systems (Hons.), specialising in Archival and Organisational Information Systems.
During her time at the ESRC Annelie has worked on a number of different projects which included: authoring the ANDS-funded Australian Drosophila Ecology and Evolution Resource; designing the Virtual Co-Design Studio of ARC Future Fellow Joanne Evans, and; assisting in the ARC linkage project Return, Reconcile, Renew: understanding the history, effects and opportunities of repatriation and building an evidence base for the future.
In 2016 Annelie received a New Professional bursary to attend the International Council of Archives Congress in Seoul, South Korea. Annelie is a member of the ICA’s New Professionals Committee as well as being on the Standing Committee of the Archives and Manuscripts Journal.
