Prakash

Prakash is a common given name in Asian, Hindu, Sanskrit names and widely used in Nepal, India and Sri Lanka. Prakash, is generally used as a masculine name. It is pronounced Pra-kash. The word Prakash is derived from the Sanskrit word "prakāśa", literally meaning "Bright light" or "Sun light" or "Moon light" or simply "Light". Metaphorically, it designates the person as a source of enlightenment or wisdom. From the Sanskrit 'pra' meaning "forth" and 'kāśa' meaning "shining." Hence the meaning "luminous; shining forth". Prakash Raj

Prakash Raj (born Prakash Rai on 26 March 1965) is a polyglot Indian film actor, film director, producer, thespian and television presenter who is known for his works in the South Indian film industry, and few bollywood films. He acted in back-to-back stage shows for ₹300 a month in the initial stages of his career when he joined Kalakshetra, Bengaluru, and he has 2,000 street theatre performances to his credit.

After working in the Kannada television industry and Kannada cinema for a few years, he made his debut in Tamil cinema through Duet (1994) by K. Balachander and has since been a commercially successful film star in Tamil. In remembrance, he named his production company Duet Movies. Prakash has also worked in a number of Bollywood films.

Apart from his mother tongue Kannada, Prakash's fluency in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Hindi and English has placed him among the most sought after actors in Indian cinema. He has played a variety of roles, most notably as the antagonist and, of late, as a character actor. Prakash, as an actor has won a National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1998 for Mani Ratnam's Iruvar and a National Film Award for Best Actor in 2009 for his role in Kanchivaram, a Tamil film directed by Priyadarshan, and as a producer has won a National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Kannada for Puttakkana Highway directed by his long-time theatre friend B. Suresh in 2011. Prakash was also the host of Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi during the show's second season.

She then tries to reconcilliate but as luck would have it, Rohit, an ego-centric man, misinterprets her support as her pity and things become worse. Having had enough, Kiran decides to call the marriage off and also files a case demanding Sonu's custody. Rohit, unlike Kiran, faces a real tough time preparing for the case. But as case continues, Kiran realises Rohit's importance for Sonu and vice-versa. However, the court as expected gives orders in Kiran's favour. But in the end, Kiran decides to compensate for all her mistakes and Rohit and she decide to start afresh all over again.

Shanti and Shobha had wanted Prakash to get married to wealthy & gorgeous Sonia, are quite peeved with Sita, they abuse her both physically and verbally, while Prakash makes it clear that he only married her to get even for getting slapped. Things get worse after Ghanshyamdas passes away, and the rest of the family, save for Amar, attempt to burn Sita. Amar comes to her rescue, and together they conceive a plot to get even as wealthy Kamini and her assistant Nakadram. They do succeed considerably, but things change dramatically when Rakesh finds out their true identities and decides to do away with both of them - and this time there will be no one who can come to their rescue.
