Sun Ray, by Dutch-born, Melbourne-based artist Stefan Gevers, is part of a collection of gold embellished works from Paper Empire, a design studio and artist agency in Melbourne that specialises in limited edition prints and posters. Artist Anna Varendorff mainly works with brass, creating sculptures and jewellery from her studio in Melbourne. Ceramicist Laureen Lansdown uses fine porcelain for her Lavallier stoneware and handmakes each piece in her Melbourne studio. Alison Wyatt, who founded Queensland-based Hepburn Hardware, creates innovative cabinet handles, knobs and hooks from cut glass, leather and brass.
