January - Clem Beckett
Items relating to the life of Oldham International Brigade volunteer Clem Beckett, marking the performances of the play Dare Devil Rides to Jarama at the Library.
March - Remembering Betty Tebbs
Items from the collection in tribute to stalwart peace activist Betty Tebbs, who died in January 2017 aged 98.
June - Song of the slum
A recent Library acquisition, a book containing a long poem from the mid-1890s, The song of the slum or the dream of Augustus Bland by JM Thompson, beautifully illustrated by JS Knight.
July - For the few not the many
Howard Morrison (from the Paper Piano collective) was inspired by Robert Tressell's book The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists to produce an artwork which he has kindly donated to the Library.
