The wildebeests, also called gnus or wildebai, are a genus of antelopes, Connochaetes. They belong to the family Bovidae, which includes antelopes, cattle, goats, sheep and other even-toed horned ungulates. Connochaetes includes two species, both native to Africa: the black wildebeest, or white-tailed gnu (C. gnou); and the blue wildebeest, or brindled gnu (C. taurinus). Fossil records suggest these two species diverged about one million years ago, resulting in a northern and a southern species. The blue wildebeest remained in its original range and changed very little from the ancestral species, while the black wildebeest changed more in order to adapt to its open grassland habitat in the south. The most obvious way of telling the two species apart are the differences in their colouring and in the way their horns are oriented.
In East Africa, the blue wildebeest is the most abundant big game species and some populations perform an annual migration to new grazing grounds but the black wildebeest is merely nomadic. Breeding in both takes place over a short period of time at the end of the rainy season and the calves are soon active and are able to move with the herd. Nevertheless, some fall prey to large carnivores. Wildebeest often graze in mixed herds with zebra which gives heightened awareness of potential predators. They are also alert to the warning signals emitted by other animals such as baboons. Wildebeest are a tourist attraction but compete with domesticated livestock for pasture and are sometimes blamed by farmers for transferring diseases and parasites to their cattle. Some illegal hunting goes on but the population trend is fairly stable and some populations are in national parks or on private land. The IUCN lists both species as being of "least concern".
William "Willdabeast" Adams is a professional dancer and choreographer who specializes in hip hop dance.
William "Willdabeast" Adams, who is originally from Indiana, began his more intense dance training in 2005 in cities like Indianapolis and Chicago. He then began to travel and attend many dance conventions like Monsters of Hip Hop, Pulse, and many others. A short three years later, Adams joined a local Indianapolis dance crew named "Destined 2 Be", and the crew went on to win the Indiana Black Expo two years in a row earning a perfect score at both appearances. Something like this had never been done in the history of the expo.
Just a short year later, Adams' crew gained national attention by making it through two rounds of America's Got Talent. This appearance led the crew to shows with groups like Breaksk8 and people like Jason Derulo. Adams' career slowly began to life off from there as he began to book many more jobs and appeared in movies, commercials, short films, etc.
A national park is a park in use for conservation purposes. Often it is a reserve of natural, semi-natural, or developed land that a sovereign state declares or owns. Although individual nations designate their own national parks differently, there is a common idea: the conservation of 'wild nature' for posterity and as a symbol of national pride. An international organization, the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and its World Commission on Protected Areas, has defined "National Park" as its Category II type of protected areas.
While this type of national park had been proposed previously, the United States established the first "public park or pleasuring-ground for the benefit and enjoyment of the people", Yellowstone National Park, in 1872. Although Yellowstone was not officially termed a "national park" in its establishing law, it was always termed such in practice and is widely held to be the first and oldest national park in the world. The first area to use "national park" in its creation legislation was the US's Mackinac Island, in 1875. Australia's Royal National Park, established in 1879, was the world's third official national park. In 1895 ownership of Mackinac Island was transferred to the State of Michigan as a state park and national park status was consequently lost. As a result, Australia's Royal National Park is by some considerations the second oldest national park now in existence.

Kruger National Park is one of the largest game reserves in Africa. It covers an area of 19,485 square kilometres (7,523 sq mi) in the provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga in northeastern South Africa, and extends 360 kilometres (220 mi) from north to south and 65 kilometres (40 mi) from east to west. The administrative headquarters are in Skukuza. Areas of the park were first protected by the government of the South African Republic in 1898, and it became South Africa's first national park in 1926.
To the west and south of the Kruger National Park are the two South African provinces of Limpopo and Mpumalanga. In the north is Zimbabwe, and to the east is Mozambique. It is now part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, a peace park that links Kruger National Park with the Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe, and with the Limpopo National Park in Mozambique.
The park is part of the Kruger to Canyons Biosphere an area designated by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as an International Man and Biosphere Reserve (the "Biosphere").

A tourist filmed the moment a wildebeest was trying to get a dying wildebeest back up by trying to fling him into the air. Kruger accommodation specials here: http://bit.ly/Vacationdeals Bradley Ballantyne, 46, captured the sighting while driving home on Olifants Street in Martloth Park, just outside the Kruger National Park. After seeing this video, we definitely wanted to find out more, so Bradley told LatestSightings.com: “On my way home from having lunch at one of the local “Watergats” (waterholes), I turned the corner and noticed a wildebeest displaying unusual behavior, goring away at something on the ground. I immediately grabbed my phone to record what was happening. As I got closer I could not believe that it was another wildebeest on the ground, which certainly looked dead,...

British brothers William and Matthew Burrard-Lucas, both from London, made a 12-day expedition to capture the chaotic fight for life on camera.
