Starting in the delightfully vibrant Malaga, this couple spent 2 weeks travelling around as much of Andalusia, a large autonomous region of hills, rivers and farmland bordering Spain’s southern coast, as they could. They traveled to the breathtakingly romantic Ronda where they were blown away by its beauty and history. They then drove to Seville and treated their taste buds with Salmorejo and Jamon serrano, whilst visiting Catedral de Sevilla and many other characterful landmarks.

The Great Ocean Road is a 150 mile stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Warrnambool. The road was constructed to provide work for returning soldiers and dedicated as a Memorial to those killed in the First World War. It is one of Australia's great scenic coastline drives. Much of the road hugs the coast tightly, offering outstanding views of Bass Strait and the Southern Ocean. Between Anglesea and Apollo Bay is a particularly scenic stretch of road which passes through many towns where mountains meet the sea. The main beach in Lorne offers great views of Louttit Bay nestled in a natural amphitheatre of hills, and Teddy's Lookout is not far from the main street. The section near Port Campbell provides access by foot or helicopter to some of the most scenic coastline in the world, because of its striking and dramatic natural limestone and sandstone rock formations. These formations have been created by erosion from waves and rain and include Loch Ard Gorge, the Grotto, London Bridge (renamed to London Arch after the 'bridge' partly collapsed), and most famously the Twelve Apostles.
This video begins at Torquay and continues as we drive west. Next we make stop at Bells Beach and Port Campbell. We then see some koala bears at Kenneth River. After a stop at Apollo Bay we make it to the highlight of the day, the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge. At the Twelve Apostles I go up in a helicopter for some great views of the coast. The video concludes at London Bridge/Arch.

Seven countries and 8,000 miles later we finally arrive at our end destination, the Southern coast of Portugal.
Our two athletes represented here in this video showcase very different ends of the surfing sphere, with the graceful longboard surfing skills of Andrea Molina Torn counterbalanced with the power-based short board approach of the hard-charging Eric Rebiere.
Just like the full European experience, we end with this diverse mix of gender and surf styles, and nothing feels more appropriate. We were also very fortunate to have the amazing Frankie Chavez from Lisbon perform the soundtrack for us, which he did on a 12-string Portuguese Guitarra.
Surfer and filmmaker Mikey Corker has this to say on the journey, "The West coast of Europe is amazing. As we traveled through the various regions that made up the different episodes, we realised just how diverse the West coast of the European continent actually is.
"The geography, the cultures, languages, food, everything. I think what is more important though, is what the similarities to be found were, especially within the local surfing communities we were fortunate enough to spend time with. No matter what language everyone speaks, or what kind of upbringing they had, as a surfer the universal languages of respect and stoke are always going to be understood, no matter whether you grew up on a beach, a strand, a playa or a praia."

Whenever you hear about the Pacific Ocean beaches of Ecuador, often the focus is mostly on the two more populated cities on the coast—the port city of Manta and the resort town of Salinas. My wife and I live in Salinas, but recently we embarked on a road trip, taking a week to cover the four-hour drive along the Ruta del Sol between those two major destinations, and a bit further north of Manta. We saw a lot of beautiful places, and met many interesting people. This video will give you a look at just seven of the beach towns we visited, giving you an idea of the range of options available on Ecuador’s coast.
Listed from south to north, you will get a taste of Ayangue, Montañita, Ayampe, Salango, Puerto Lopez, Santa Marianita, and the “twin cities” of San Jacinto/San Clemente.
Of course, all of these towns have great beaches, that is pretty much a given on Ecuador’s coast. But we found that each place was also a unique destination to be enjoyed for its own particular charm and lifestyle.

Sri Lanka is gaining popularity worldwide, not only for its waves but also for the pristine and beautiful beaches that surround it. Along the southern coast of Great Britain in the regions of Dorset and East Devon is the Jurassic Coast. As you can see in the video there are all kinds of fun to be had in this dynamic landscape.
In certain areas you can also go fossil hunting, rock climbing, and horseback riding on the beach. And some locals simply like to hike along the cliffs for miles!

South Coast (California)
The South Coast is a term used in the West Coast region of the United States to refer to both the south Pacific Coast of California and the adjacent resort and residential communities.
It refers for the most part to the Southern California coastal counties of Ventura, Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego due to the cosmopolitan "SoCal" atmosphere and location of major urban coastal centers. Of these counties only the western two thirds of San Diego, coastal half of Ventura, most of Los Angeles and all of Orange are included.
However, some sources include the coastal half of Ventura, western part of Riverside, and southwestern part of San Bernardino Counties because of their proximity to the Pacific Coast and because they are in the same bio-region and watershed.
Smuggling
During the prohibition era the waters of the South Coast were a popular smuggling route in for alcohol. Largely forgotten in the later parts of the 20th Century, with increased security at the Mexico–United States border smuggling has increased; during the 2011 fiscal year, more than 200 smuggling vessels were observed. Most of the vessels attempt to off load their cargo of drugs and/or illegal immigrants in San Diego County, however destinations are as far north as the California Central Coast. Often, vessels used for smuggling operations are abandoned upon making landfall.

Sri Lanka (/sriːˈlɑːŋkə, -ˈlæŋkə/ or 
i/ʃriː-/;Sinhalese - ශ්රී ලංකාව, Tamil Ilaṅkai), officially the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and known from the beginning of British colonial rule until 1972 as Ceylon (/sᵻˈlɒnˌ seɪ-ˌ siː-/), is an island country in South Asia near south-east India.
Sri Lanka has maritime borders with India to the northwest and the Maldives to the southwest. Its documented history spans 3,000 years, with evidence of pre-historic human settlements dating back to at least 125,000 years. A diverse and multicultural country, Sri Lanka is home to many religions, ethnic groups, and languages. In addition to the majority Sinhalese, it is home to large groups of Sri Lankan and Indian Tamils, Moors, Burghers, Malays, Kaffirs and the aboriginal Vedda. Sri Lanka has a rich Buddhist heritage, and the first known Buddhist writings of Sri Lanka, the Pāli Canon, dates back to the Fourth Buddhist council in 29 BC. The country's recent history has been marred by a thirty-year civil war which decisively ended when Sri Lankan military defeated Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam in 2009.

A Tour of Ecuador's Southern Coast
Whenever you hear about the Pacific Ocean beaches of Ecuador, often the focus is mostly on the two more populated cities on the coast—the port city of Manta and the resort town of Salinas. My wife and I live in Salinas, but recently we embarked on a road trip, taking a week to cover the four-hour drive along the Ruta del Sol between those two major destinations, and a bit further north of Manta. We saw a lot of beautiful places, and met many interesting people. This video will give you a look at just seven of the beach towns we visited, giving you an idea of the range of options available on Ecuador’s coast. The Great Ocean Road is a 150 mile stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Warrnambool. The road was constructed to provide work for returning soldiers and dedicated as a Memorial to those killed in the First World War. It is one of Australia's great scenic coastline drives. Much of the road hugs the coast tightly, offering outstanding views of Bass Strait and the Southern Ocean. Between Anglesea and Apollo Bay is a particularly scenic stretch of road which passes through many towns where mountains meet the sea. The main beach in Lorne offers great views of Louttit Bay nestled in a natural amphitheatre of hills, and Teddy's Lookout is not far from the main street. The section near Port Campbell provides access by foot or helicopter to some of the most scenic coastline in the world, because of its striking and dramatic natural limestone and sandstone rock formations. These formations have been created by erosion from waves and rain and include Loch Ard Gorge, the Grotto, London Bridge (renamed to London Arch after the 'bridge' partly collapsed), and most famously the Twelve Apostles.
This video begins at Torquay and continues as we drive west. Next we make stop at Bells Beach and Port Campbell. We then see some koala bears at Kenneth River. After a stop at Apollo Bay we make it to the highlight of the day, the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge. At the Twelve Apostles I go up in a helicopter for some great views of the coast. The video concludes at London Bridge/Arch.

Seven countries and 8,000 miles later we finally arrive at our end destination, the Southern coast of Portugal.
Our two athletes represented here in this video showcase very different ends of the surfing sphere, with the graceful longboard surfing skills of Andrea Molina Torn counterbalanced with the power-based short board approach of the hard-charging Eric Rebiere.
Just like the full European experience, we end with this diverse mix of gender and surf styles, and nothing feels more appropriate. We were also very fortunate to have the amazing Frankie Chavez from Lisbon perform the soundtrack for us, which he did on a 12-string Portuguese Guitarra.
Surfer and filmmaker Mikey Corker has this to say on the journey, "The West coast of Europe is amazing. As we traveled through the various regions that made up the different episodes, we realised just how diverse the West coast of the European continent actually is.
"The geography, the cultures, languages, food, everything. I think what is more important though, is what the similarities to be found were, especially within the local surfing communities we were fortunate enough to spend time with. No matter what language everyone speaks, or what kind of upbringing they had, as a surfer the universal languages of respect and stoke are always going to be understood, no matter whether you grew up on a beach, a strand, a playa or a praia."

Whenever you hear about the Pacific Ocean beaches of Ecuador, often the focus is mostly on the two more populated cities on the coast—the port city of Manta and the resort town of Salinas. My wife and I live in Salinas, but recently we embarked on a road trip, taking a week to cover the four-hour drive along the Ruta del Sol between those two major destinations, and a bit further north of Manta. We saw a lot of beautiful places, and met many interesting people. The Great Ocean Road is a 150 mile stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia between the Victorian cities of Torquay and Warrnambool. The road was constructed to provide work for returning soldiers and dedicated as a Memorial to those killed in the First World War. It is one of Australia's great scenic coastline drives. Much of the road hugs the coast tightly, offering outstanding views of Bass Strait and the Southern Ocean. Between Anglesea and Apollo Bay is a particularly scenic stretch of road which passes through many towns where mountains meet the sea. The main beach in Lorne offers great views of Louttit Bay nestled in a natural amphitheatre of hills, and Teddy's Lookout is not far from the main street. The section near Port Campbell provides access by foot or helicopter to some of the most scenic coastline in the world, because of its striking and dramatic natural limestone and sandstone rock formations. These formations have been created by erosion from waves and rain and include Loch Ard Gorge, the Grotto, London Bridge (renamed to London Arch after the 'bridge' partly collapsed), and most famously the Twelve Apostles.
This video begins at Torquay and continues as we drive west. Next we make stop at Bells Beach and Port Campbell. We then see some koala bears at Kenneth River. After a stop at Apollo Bay we make it to the highlight of the day, the Twelve Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge. At the Twelve Apostles I go up in a helicopter for some great views of the coast. The video concludes at London Bridge/Arch.

No matter what language everyone speaks, or what kind of upbringing they had, as a surfer the universal languages of respect and stoke are always going to be understood, no matter whether you grew up on a beach, a strand, a playa or a praia."

Whenever you hear about the Pacific Ocean beaches of Ecuador, often the focus is mostly on the two more populated cities on the coast—the port city of Manta and the resort town of Salinas.
