The Marble Basics Basic Blanc Round Trivet can be used as a plate, chopping board, placemat, cheeseboard or platter for cakes and hors d'oeuvres. It is ideal for protecting your table or bench from scorching dishes straight out of the oven. It is also great for placing precious objects on - we like to use it as a base for a cluster of candles or perfumes. It is also a practical and beautiful water dish for our Basic Pots. Just be sure to treat your marble with love and be wary of staining (read our Marble Care section). These are handmade products and marble is a natural material, so every product differs slightly in size and colour. All of our pieces are original with different veining and patterning, which makes each one uniquely beautiful.

• Care instructions: Marble is a porous, natural stone so be careful not to leave water on it for long periods as this may mark the piece. Acidic, strong pigmented products may stain marble.
