Cevizli’nin tarihsel adı, “kutsal ve güzel tepe” anlamına gelen K[uwa]-Akra kelimelerinden türetilen Kagra (Kαγρα)’dır. Hellen dil kurallarına göre “tepe” kelimesinin eril olması nedeniyle, Kagra’ya ‘-s’ eklenir ve Kagras (Καγρας)’a dönüşür. Böylece Hellenistik dönemin başlangıcı olarak kabul edilen M.Ö. 4. yüzyıldan itibaren, yani yaklaşık 2400 yıldır bu yerleşimin ismi Kağras’tır.
Cevizli’nin tarihi ile ilgili günümüze ulaşan en eski kaynaklar, şu anda “Kale” olarak isimlendirilen tepede bulunan M. S. 1. yüzyıla ait kalıntılar ve kitabelerdir. Cevizli’de, 1816’da Otto Von Richter, 1902’de W. M. Ramsay, 1921’de Henry Ardeme Ormerod, 1964-65-66’da George E. Bean ve T. Bruce Mitford tarafından arkeolojik saha çalışmalar yapıldığı bilinmektedir. Bunlara ek olarak 1933’te T. R. S. Broughton, 1980’de Ramsay MacMullen, 1996’da Riet Van Bremen tarafından bu kalıntıları ve antik şehri konu alan akademik yayınlar yapılmıştır. Bu eserlerde Cevizli’nin ismi, batı dillerindeki okunuşlarına göre Cagrai, Cragai, Ghyaras, Kagres, Karas ve Yaras şeklinde de ifade edilmiştir.
Yapılan arkeolojik araştırmalar sonucunda, merkezi Selge’de bulunan Pisidia devletinin soylu bir ailesi bu bölgeye gelir ve yerleşir. Kagreus (Kαγρευς) olarak kitabelerde geçen bu ailenin en önemli ferdlerinden biri olan Kassia Mousaia, “kutsal tepe”ye bir Zeus Tapınağı inşa ettirmiştir. Kendisinden önce vefat eden kocası Hoplon ve oğlu Konis’in de birer heykelini tapınağa yerleştirir. Yakın komşuları olan Zomanalılar (Homonades), Roma İmparatorluğu’na karşı uzun süre direnmiş olsalar da, Pisidia’nın bir parçası olan Kagralılar (Kαγραi)’ın böyle bir direnişi görülmez. Belki de bu yüzden Kassia, Roma kadınları arasında ön plana çıkan bir isme dönüşür.
Doğu Roma (Bizans) İmparatorluğu’nun Hıristiyanlaşması sonrasında Zeus Tapınağı muhtemelen işlevsiz kalmış, belki de kiliseye dönüşmüştür. Ancak bu dönemle ilgili günümüze ulaşan herhangi bir bilgi ve belge bulunmamaktadır. Türklerin Anadolu’ya girişleri ile birlikte Kagras’ta önce Selçuklu hakimiyeti, ardından da beylikler dönemi başlamıştır. Eşrefoğulları ve Teke Beyliği’nin etki alanında olan bölge Yıldırım Beyazıd döneminde Osmanlı hakimiyetine girmiştir. Türkler tarafından Kâğras (كاغراس) isminin neredeyse hiç değişmeden kullanılmasında, belki de Farsça kökenli “taze ağaçlar, yeni dikilmiş fidanlar” anlamına gelen “ağras” ile benzerliği de etkili olmuştur.
Manavgat bölgesinde Varsak ve Avşar yörüklerinin yoğun olarak bulunduğu bilinse de, Kağras’ta hangi yörük boylarının, ne zaman yerleştiği tam olarak bilinmemektedir.
Cevizli’yle ilgili mevcut olan en eski yazılı belgeler, Sultan I. Mahmud döneminde verilen, padişahın tuğrasını da içeren 1750 ve 1754 tarihli beratlardır. Bu beratlarda o dönemde Kağras’ın bağlı olduğu Alaiye Sancağı kadısına verilen talimatlar göze çarpar. Kağras ve Sarı Şeyh zaviyeleri isimlerinin geçtiği bu beratlar, aynı zamanda en önemli ziyaret mekanı olan Sarı Şeyh Hüseyin Efendi Türbesi hakkındaki bilinen en eski belgedir. Bu yerin sadece bir isim olarak geçiyor olması, Hüseyin Efendi’nin gerçekten kim olduğu ve hangi dönemde yaşayıp nasıl öldüğü ile ilgili konuları henüz aydınlatılamamıştır. En yaygın rivayet olan “Bizans’a karşı savaşan Fatih’in Kolağası” iddiası ise tarihsel çelişkiler barındırmaktadır. Çünkü Bizans, Fatih Sultan Mehmet döneminden çok önce İstanbul’a sıkışıp kalan bir şehir devletine dönüşmüştü. Kolağası unvanı ise ilk kez 1826’da kullanılmaya başlanmıştı. Sarı Şeyh Türbesinin tarihi niteliği kesin olarak bilinmese de, yüzlerce yıldır bölge halkı tarafından büyük saygı ve ilgi gördüğü bir vakıadır.
Kağras’ın da içinde bulunduğu Teke Sancağı, 1864 tarihli Vilayet Nizamnamesi’ne göre Konya Vilayeti’ne bağlanmış; daha sonra Akseki kazasına bağlı bir mahalle olarak 1924 yılında kurulan Antalya Vilayeti’nin bir parçası olmuştur. 1911 tarihli mahkeme kayıtlarına göre Kağras, 150 hane ve 800 nüfustan oluşurken, bu nüfusun önemli bir kısmı da çalışmak için İstanbul’a gidip gelenlerden oluşuyordu. 4 Mart 1931 tarih ve 7159 numaralı kararname ile, dönemin Cumhurbaşkanı Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün onayı ile “Kağras Nahiyesi” kurulmuştur.

Van
A van is a kind of vehicle used for transporting goods or people. Depending on the type of van it can be bigger or smaller than a truck and SUV, and bigger than an automobile. There is some varying in the scope of the word across the different English-speaking countries. The smallest vans, minivans, are commonly used for transporting people from a family. Larger vans with passenger seats are used for institutional purposes, such as transporting students. Larger vans with only front seats are often used for business purposes, to carry goods and equipment. Specially-equipped vans are used by television stations as mobile studios. Postal services and courier companies use large step vans to deliver packages.
Word origin and usage
Van meaning a type of vehicle arose as a contraction of the word caravan. The early records of van as a vehicle in English are in the mid 19th century meaning a covered wagon for transporting goods (earliest reported record 1829). Caravan with the same meaning has records since the 1670s. A caravan, meaning one wagon, had arisen as an extension or corruption of caravan meaning a convoy of multiple wagons.

Microbrewery
A microbrewery or craft brewery is a brewery that produces a small amount of beer. Exact definitions vary, but the terms are typically applied to breweries that are much smaller than large-scale corporate breweries and are independently owned. Such breweries are generally characterized by their emphasis on quality, flavor and brewing technique.
The microbrewing movement began in the United Kingdom in the 1970s — although traditional artisanal brewing existed in Europe for centuries—and subsequently spread to other countries. As the movement grew and some breweries expanded their production and distribution, the more encompassing concept of craft brewing emerged. A related term, "brewpub", refers to a pub or restaurant that brews its own beer for sale on the premises.

Microbrewery
Although the term "microbrewery" was originally used in relation to the size of breweries, it gradually came to reflect an alternative attitude and approach to brewing flexibility, adaptability, experimentation and customer service. The term and trend spread to the U.S. in the 1980s, where it was eventually used as a designation of breweries that produce fewer than 15,000 U.S. beer barrels (1,800,000 liters; 460,000 U.S. gallons) annually.

Glenn Close
Glenn Close (born March 19, 1947) is an American film, television and stage actress. Throughout her long and varied career, she has been consistently acclaimed for her versatility and is widely regarded as one of the finest actresses of her generation. She has won three Emmy Awards, three Tony Awards and received six Academy Award nominations.
Close began her professional stage career in 1974 in Love for Love, and was mostly a New York stage actress through the rest of the 1970s and early 1980s, appearing in both plays and musicals, including the Broadway productions of Barnum in 1980 and The Real Thing in 1983, for which she won the Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play. Her first film role was in The World According to Garp (1982), which she followed up with supporting roles in The Big Chill (1983), and The Natural (1984); all three earned her nominations for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She would later receive nominations for the Academy Award for Best Actress for her performances in Fatal Attraction (1987), Dangerous Liaisons (1988), and Albert Nobbs (2011). In the 1990s, she won two more Tony Awards, for Death and the Maiden in 1992 and Sunset Boulevard in 1995, while she won her first Emmy Award for the 1995 TV film Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story.

Manavgat bölgesinde Varsak ve Avşar yörüklerinin yoğun olarak bulunduğu bilinse de, Kağras’ta hangi yörük boylarının, ne zaman yerleştiği tam olarak bilinmemektedir. Cevizli’yle ilgili mevcut olan en eski yazılı belgeler, Sultan I. Mahmud döneminde verilen, padişahın tuğrasını da içeren 1750 ve 1754 tarihli beratlardır. Bu beratlarda o dönemde Kağras’ın bağlı olduğu Alaiye Sancağı kadısına verilen talimatlar göze çarpar. Kağras ve Sarı Şeyh zaviyeleri isimlerinin geçtiği bu beratlar, aynı zamanda en önemli ziyaret mekanı olan Sarı Şeyh Hüseyin Efendi Türbesi hakkındaki bilinen en eski belgedir. Bu yerin sadece bir isim olarak geçiyor olması, Hüseyin Efendi’nin gerçekten kim olduğu ve hangi dönemde yaşayıp nasıl öldüğü ile ilgili konuları henüz aydınlatılamamıştır. En yaygın rivayet olan “Bizans’a karşı savaşan Fatih’in Kolağası” iddiası ise tarihsel çelişkiler barındırmaktadır. Çünkü Bizans, Fatih Sultan Mehmet döneminden çok önce İstanbul’a sıkışıp kalan bir şehir devletine dönüşmüştü. Kolağası unvanı ise ilk kez 1826’da kullanılmaya başlanmıştı. Sarı Şeyh Türbesinin tarihi niteliği kesin olarak bilinmese de, yüzlerce yıldır bölge halkı tarafından büyük saygı ve ilgi gördüğü bir vakıadır. Kağras’ın da içinde bulunduğu Teke Sancağı, 1864 tarihli Vilayet Nizamnamesi’ne göre Konya Vilayeti’ne bağlanmış; daha sonra Akseki kazasına bağlı bir mahalle olarak 1924 yılında kurulan Antalya Vilayeti’nin bir parçası olmuştur. 1911 tarihli mahkeme kayıtlarına göre Kağras, 150 hane ve 800 nüfustan oluşurken, bu nüfusun önemli bir kısmı da çalışmak için İstanbul’a gidip gelenlerden oluşuyordu. 4 Mart 1931 tarih ve 7159 numaralı kararname ile, dönemin Cumhurbaşkanı Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün onayı ile “Kağras Nahiyesi” kurulmuştur. -

Böylece Hellenistik dönemin başlangıcı olarak kabul edilen M.Ö. 4. yüzyıldan itibaren, yani yaklaşık 2400 yıldır bu yerleşimin ismi Kağras’tır. Cevizli’nin tarihi ile ilgili günümüze ulaşan en eski kaynaklar, şu anda “Kale” olarak isimlendirilen tepede bulunan M. S. 1. yüzyıla ait kalıntılar ve kitabelerdir. Cevizli’de, 1816’da Otto Von Richter, 1902’de W. M. Ramsay, 1921’de Henry Ardeme Ormerod, 1964-65-66’da George E. Bean ve T. Bruce Mitford tarafından arkeolojik saha çalışmalar yapıldığı bilinmektedir. Bunlara ek olarak 1933’te T. R. S. Broughton, 1980’de Ramsay MacMullen, 1996’da Riet Van Bremen tarafından bu kalıntıları ve antik şehri konu alan akademik yayınlar yapılmıştır. Bu eserlerde Cevizli’nin ismi, batı dillerindeki okunuşlarına göre Cagrai, Cragai, Ghyaras, Kagres, Karas ve Yaras şeklinde de ifade edilmiştir.

Eşrefoğulları ve Teke Beyliği’nin etki alanında olan bölge Yıldırım Beyazıd döneminde Osmanlı hakimiyetine girmiştir. Türkler tarafından Kâğras (كاغراس) isminin neredeyse hiç değişmeden kullanılmasında, belki de Farsça kökenli “taze ağaçlar, yeni dikilmiş fidanlar” anlamına gelen “ağras” ile benzerliği de etkili olmuştur.
Manavgat bölgesinde Varsak ve Avşar yörüklerinin yoğun olarak bulunduğu bilinse de, Kağras’ta hangi yörük boylarının, ne zaman yerleştiği tam olarak bilinmemektedir.
Cevizli’yle ilgili mevcut olan en eski yazılı belgeler, Sultan I. Mahmud döneminde verilen, padişahın tuğrasını da içeren 1750 ve 1754 tarihli beratlardır. Bu beratlarda o dönemde Kağras’ın bağlı olduğu Alaiye Sancağı kadısına verilen talimatlar göze çarpar. Kağras ve Sarı Şeyh zaviyeleri isimlerinin geçtiği bu beratlar, aynı zamanda en önemli ziyaret mekanı olan Sarı Şeyh Hüseyin Efendi Türbesi hakkındaki bilinen en eski belgedir. Bu yerin sadece bir isim olarak geçiyor olması, Hüseyin Efendi’nin gerçekten kim olduğu ve hangi dönemde yaşayıp nasıl öldüğü ile ilgili konuları henüz aydınlatılamamıştır. En yaygın rivayet olan “Bizans’a karşı savaşan Fatih’in Kolağası” iddiası ise tarihsel çelişkiler barındırmaktadır. Çünkü Bizans, Fatih Sultan Mehmet döneminden çok önce İstanbul’a sıkışıp kalan bir şehir devletine dönüşmüştü. Kolağası unvanı ise ilk kez 1826’da kullanılmaya başlanmıştı. Sarı Şeyh Türbesinin tarihi niteliği kesin olarak bilinmese de, yüzlerce yıldır bölge halkı tarafından büyük saygı ve ilgi gördüğü bir vakıadır.
Kağras’ın da içinde bulunduğu Teke Sancağı, 1864 tarihli Vilayet Nizamnamesi’ne göre Konya Vilayeti’ne bağlanmış; daha sonra Akseki kazasına bağlı bir mahalle olarak 1924 yılında kurulan Antalya Vilayeti’nin bir parçası olmuştur. 1911 tarihli mahkeme kayıtlarına göre Kağras, 150 hane ve 800 nüfustan oluşurken, bu nüfusun önemli bir kısmı da çalışmak için İstanbul’a gidip gelenlerden oluşuyordu. 4 Mart 1931 tarih ve 7159 numaralı kararname ile, dönemin Cumhurbaşkanı Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün onayı ile “Kağras Nahiyesi” kurulmuştur.
