The Anarchist Federation has published many works over the years. What follows is a selection of our out of print pamphlets, made available here for historical reference. Please note that the position of the federation may have changed (in some cases quite substantially) since these were first in print.

The Poll Tax and How to Fight It was the first of two pamphlets we wrote on the Poll Tax, published around October 1988. It encouraged the rise of mass revolt against the Community Charge as it was happening in Scotland, and as it was poised to be fought and beaten a year later in England and Wales as well.
Beating the Poll Tax is a relevant ‘blast from the past’, a widely distributed booklet that encouraged and analysed the rise of mass revolt against the Community Charge in 1989/90 as it was happening. First published by the Anarchist Communist Federation in March 1990 under the Tories, then published online March 2006 by the Anarchist Federation and dedicated to New Labour and the Left, “Our past experience should teach us to expect nothing else of them.”
Insights into the political parties of Britain, and why anarchists oppose all parties. This is a little dated now, but the most well known parties are dismantled.
The name says it all. Why work is so terrible and why it must be destroyed before it destroys us!
6th edition, Autumn 2008. The AF’s in-depth analysis of the capitalist world in crisis, suggestions about what the alternative Anarchist Communist society could be like, and evaluation of social and organisational forces which play a part in the revolutionary process.
