Genres: Action, Comedy, Horror, Thriller,The greatest silent star of all time Mary Pickford in her final film "Secrets" from 1933. She only made 4 talkies, and this was one of them! Mary was known for playing little girl roles, her final such one coming well in her 30s. She was 41 when she made this film and was playing a 16-19 year old. In addition to growing personal problems this was the main reason she quit films, not because her voice was unsuitable as rumored (her first talkie Coquette won an Oscar). There was a short period in which the UK effectively banned most US films from being showed there. The Cinematograph Films Act of 1927 gave preference to films made within the British Empire. Films made in Canada could qualify to be British To fulfill the quota a bunch of B movies were filmed in Victoria. The Willows Park Studio in Victoria was run by Kenneth J. Bishop. The studio produced 14 quota pictures for the U.K. market between 1933–1937. Tell me what's happenin'
Curiosity doin' me in
Something strange happenin'
You keep a closed door behind you
Got a window I can't see through
Lock your mail inside a drawer
Never did me like that before
Don't tell me it's another one of your secrets
I smell conspiracy
Don't let me down
I'm on the outside baby
Waitin' for a friendly sound
Don't let me go to pieces
Celebratin' all alone
I come apart bit by bit
Add a number to your top secret list
In between hot & cold
You'll find the truth is
Working against us
I wanna know more
Don't tell me it's another one of your secrets
You make a move clandestine
Underground hide & seek
Getaway with incidents
By lack of evidence
On the verge of committing a crime
Sendin' out a private eye
Defender of innocence
Trigger of coincidence
Right between hot & cold
Right between the left and the right eye
Tonight for instance
