This is neither intended to be a retort nor an attempt to disarm any discourse, nor a criticism. It is a response to a series of threats received by email and I think this has made these people definitely touch the bottom and they cannot become more ridiculous.
There have been several critical texts and reflections from different parts of the world that have been raised in recent months against ITS in Mexico and in general against the tendency that calls themselves “eco-extremists”. We can read the contributions of insurrectionary anarchist groups in Mexico, as well as critiques of other comrades like Eat, in Indonesia, criticism made by one of the people who runs the blog ‘It’s Going Down!’ in North America, or the two texts published from the United Kingdom, titled “Eco-extremism and the Indiscriminate Attack – The Church of ITS Mexico” and “Darko Mathers was not an Eco-Fascist“. It was quite obvious that from that the “eco-extremist” tendency would be answered. After all, in recent years, the dialectic between different groups of direct action against domination (whether they consider themselves anarchists or not) has been constant, taking advantage of the actions to establish a fruitful dialogue that sharpens theory and practice, improving the blows of those people who were punctual and strategic or as an already unavoidable part of their lives, had opted to attack here and now. And of course, the replicas of the ITR (Individualities Tending toward the Ridiculous) did not wait, although I have to say that they were even more disappointing than we would have imagined at first (and that my expectations were difficult to overcome). Everything started in 2012 in a protest, where I participated too against the memorandum, as all the people. In the end of the protest others went home, others to some coffee shops, others to the Exarcheia Square. I continued on foot towards my residence. That has little importance for the State and it’s lackeys, since they didn’t allow me to defend myself before my custody.
On the evening of Tuesday 25/07/2017, while I was leaving the house of a friend – I state that it was not my house – I was surrounded by 25 garbage of State Security, they handcuff me and lead me to the General Police Directive announcing to me, that there was pending an arrest warrant for three months for which I was never informed about. After about 30 minutes, the chief called me to his office and when I entered he gave me his hand. Reflexively, I laughed, told him to hold himself and I sat to listen. He mentioned, that he knows that I’m a good guy, but he suspects, that I participate in protests of the movement. I didn’t deny or accept anything. I replied nothing. Next, he mentioned some names without asking me anything specific. Then impersonating the profile of the ‘good’ cop he told me, that they are not going to my house ‘because my mum is elderly, they don’t want something to happen to her’. All of this lasted 5 minutes. Inspired by the riots in Hamburg, we burned two luxury cars outside of a condo in St-Henri during the night of July 13. In a neighbourhood where people have to choose between food and rent, don’t be surprised when we set fire to your flagrant displays of class privilege.
We used a simple method: fire sticks half-covered in fire-paste. All the material can be found in a camping store. We lit the fire-paste covered end and placed it in the top corners of the car’s grill, between the headlights. We used two sticks per car. The fire is mostly invisible until plastic or motor oil catches fire, giving you time to leave unseen. Be careful: the fire can easily spread to cars parked close-by. Read the rest of this entry »
We are confronting technology to the extent that it is a tool in the hand of the bosses and capitalism, taking away our capabilities practical or not. Their target is to establish any kind of technology as crucial for each one of us, to enslave each mind and body to one or the other technological means that at first sight makes our lives easier and more pleasant.
The real consequence on the other hand, is the destruction of social and human relations and of the earth and nature. All of this for the development of robust social control and making profits.

Orbeil (Puy-de-Dôme), France – Summer barbecues of repeaters (22/08/2017)
As you reach to the top of the hill there’s the Great Bear right above your head. And then, below, you see the lights of Issoire, which make war on the stars in the sky. And above all, above everything, there’s a repeater next to you, which reminds you that you didn’t come to recite poetry. Light up the fire…
In the early hours of 22nd August we set fire up there on the hill. In Moidias, two repeaters that serve the telephone line from Issore to Brioude and the broadcasting of many radio frequencies went up in flames. As we couldn’t turn off the city lights, at least we switched off the smartphones .
Because this world is too narrow, it aims at the normalization, control, sterilization and digitalization of any individuality. Because we wanted to give ourselves a breath of air, feel alive rather than suffocate. True, this desire for destruction could have been satisfied with an attack on Red Cross premises, a breeding farm or a migrant detention centre. We attack so as not to be yet another architect of power’s structures. We attack for immediate pleasure and not for a hypothetical radiant future.
As pointed out in other claims, technology – which keeps us immobile and colonizes our imagination – is one of the pillars of civilization. If we agree with this, we cannot be satisfied with a mere exchange of ideas. So we looked for sensitive points on which to act. By burning repeaters, we not only aim at inflicting the greatest damage on the promoters of technological prosthesis. It’s a way of communicating, interacting, sabotaging civilization. We published issue 1 of anarchist paper Vetriolo at last. At the same time we also printed issue 0 for those who have recently asked for copies, as it had been out of stock for a while. After several months of censorship the contribution anarchist comrade Alfredo Cospito wrote last winter for the previous issue has arrived. His letter had been blocked and seized on order of inquisitor judge Sparagna, the “scripta manent” operation’s instigator.
In this new issue there’s space for analysis on questions that were raised in the previous one, in particular the questions of cities, political alliances and internationalism, the history of the exploited’ movement and the continuation of an attempt at the analysis and elaboration of an anarchist theory of the State. A energia caótica mantém a chama da anarquia queimando. As ações transcritas nessas linhas são recebidas por nós calorosamente. Todavia estas práticas não se encerram apenas na nossa memória, mas encontram solo fértil em nossas mentes e corações. Portanto não se trata de contemplar o passado, mas vivê-lo intensamente durante o presente.
Uma cronologia para continuar…
A visão transmitida é bastante nítida: nós não esperaremos pela próxima cúpula. Essa publicação celebra a rebelião, procurando manter pulsante a paixão demolidora pela total liberdade.
A month ago in Hamburg, Germany, a G20 summit was beginning, and with it mass protests against it, with demands for a more ‘human’ running of capitalism, up to the total destruction of the system in order to build a more ethical world where there would be a place and respect for all, where there would be no repression or hierarchy, where the earth would be protected and the insatiable thirst for empty benefits on which this society is based would disappear from our values and life goals.
You can read about what happened during the 3 days of the summit and the demonstrations in many websites, including this blog, if you look in the corresponding posts (starting from the month of July, for those who are curious); and as I couldn’t go to Hamburg (and I’m sorry about that) for reasons that are irrelevant here, I won’t comment on what happened or go into detail. The comrades who were there have talked about that and continue to do so.
I’d like to talk about a particular aspect of those demonstrations, which I think occurs too often in this kind of context, and which seems a serious problem, at least to me, and one that annoys me. It’s what is known as the ‘tyranny of the image’. Read the rest of this entry »
From Amsterdam to Hamburg. On Thursday 31st August a solidarity demo took place in Amsterdam. It was not only against the G20 but also against the recent censorship of Indymedia in Germany. We hope you can spread the news amongst our friends.
A 21-year old person from Amsterdam has been convicted to two year and seven months in prison. He is accused of having thrown two empty beer bottles at the police after hundreds of riot police blocked and attacked the “Welcome to Hell” demonstration on the evening before the G20 summit in Hamburg last July (see here: https://vimeo.com/224524911). Llamado internacional a manifestarnos por la aparición del compañero Santiago Maldonado. Desaparecido por el estado Argentino durante la represión a la comunidad mapuche el 1º de agosto en la lof en resistencia de cushamen (Chubut-Arg.). Este hecho nos demuestra una vez mas lo siniestro del estado y sus verdugos.
El primero de septiembre se cumple UN MES de la desaparición del “Lechu” “el Brujo”. Un mes en el que el Estado y los medios de comunicación en mas de una oportunidad justificaron la desaparición y en otras tergiversaron la información, llegando a culpar a la comunidad mapuche y a su familia.

On 23/8, mail censorship expired for anarchist comrades Alfredo Cospito, Nicola Gai, Danilo Cremonese, Valentina Speziale, Anna Beniamino, Alessandro Mercogliano, Marco Bisesti. Turin prosecutors can’t renew it but the prison can for ‘security reasons’.
Some of the letters were unblocked and are circulating more quickly. But we don’t exclude that letters might be blocked again.
This is a communique from Irianna B.L’s partner, Konstantinos Papadopoulos:
14th March 2011. Anti-terrorism squads raided the house I was renting in the neighbourhood of Cholargos in Athens and arrested me as a suspected member of the revolutionary organization ‘Conspiracy of Cells of Fire’. That night Irianna had the bad luck to sleep at mine. She was taken to the police station and interrogated, fingerprinted and submitted to DNA samples taking. She was released on the same day.
I was released on bail 3 days later.
10th November 2011. According to the reconstruction of a ‘witness’, who was never to be seen again, not even in the trial, weapons were found, which were never used, in the Polytechnic of Zografou in Athens.
11th January 2913. Irianna was arrested as a member of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire and for illegally transporting weapons on the grounds of a tiny DNA trace found on a magazine which was part of the lot of weapons located in the Polytechnic. A year and a half since those weapons were found and after the police had had her DNA for two years.
Irianna was released on bail, this time, without the judge of the special tribunal making her details or picture public. The task was instead undertaken by the then minister of citizens’ protection Nikos Dendias with an informal communique. Read the rest of this entry »
From 08.00 this morning, Communities who joined in refusal (PWPP or Community Against Eviction – Kulon Progo) of the new airport development began gathering near heavy equipment located on the border of Glagah-Palian in order to block the equipment that will destroy the coastal areas. Fish farmers also participated to confront the heavy equipment that will destroy their ponds. At around 10.00am, approximately 500 police moved the people who were occupying the heavy equipment.
