Since 2007, BOSS has published a ranking of Australian business schools MBA and EMBA programs.

The rankings are created by surveying alumni and the schools, with the views of the alumni accounting for 55 per cent of each business school's score.

This year, the University of Sydney Business School has topped the ranking, knocking the University of Queensland Business School into second place and pushing last year's No.2 school, Melbourne Business School, to third.

The most expensive MBAs are Melbourne's $85,470 course and the University of Sydney Business School's $61,500 program. Despite the cost, Melbourne Business School had the highest value for money rating among alumni. Sydney was a close second.

At the opposite end of the cost spectrum are the School of Management and Enterprise at the University of Southern Queensland (ranked 14) at $32,040 and the Victoria Graduate School of Business at Victoria university at $35,715.
