The job of a telephone operator may extend throughout the day. Sometimes, night shifts may be the norm. Since customers from any part of the country may ring up the office, the operator will have to possess a fine sense of hearing. He should be well-versed in various slangs so that he does not put the customer in a tricky spot. Quick solutions to problems, if suggested, could help repose the faith of the caller in the company. Positivity even in the face of seemingly unsolvable customer queries is appreciated. Assurances of mailing the details of the call that transpired via mail is another way customer trust could be enhanced.
A telephone operator calls and receives calls from customers , greets them courteously, responds to their queries, addresses their grievances , registers complaints if the issue at hand is beyond his power and informs the customers of future course of action that would be taken.

Required Qualifications

• A graduate of any four-year course or 2 year vocational course.
• Well-versed in the language he chooses as a medium of communication.
