Shantanu
In the epic Mahabharata, Shantanu was a Kuru king of Hastinapura. He was a descendant of the Bharata race, of the lunar dynasty and great-grandfather of the Pandavas and Kauravas. He was the youngest son of King Pratipa of Hastinapura and had been born in the latter's old age. The eldest son Devapi had leprosy and gave up his inheritance to become a hermit. The middle son Bahlika (or Vahlika) abandoned his paternal kingdom and started living with his maternal uncle in Balkh and inherited the kingdom from him. Shantanu became the king of Hastinapura by default.
He is best known for being the father of Bhishma, one of the mightiest warriors of all time.
Brahma's Curse & Birth Of Shantanu
In his previous birth, Shantanu was a powerful king of the Ikshvaku dynasty named Mahabhisha. Mahabhisha possessed many virtuous qualities, and after performing a thousand Ashwamedha Yagnas (Horse Sacrifices) and a hundred Rajasuya Yagnas (to qualify as emperor), he had attained heaven after his death. Once he got an opportunity to visit the court of Brahma where all the Devas and Ganga were also present. While the celestials were worshipping Brahma, a wind blew and displaced Ganga's clothes revealing her body. Everybody present there bashfully bent their heads except Mahabhisha who kept on gazing at her body. Ganga was flattered by this and she also desired Mahabhisha (who was a partial incarnation of her husband, Varuna). Upon seeing this act, Brahma lost his temper and cursed him and Ganga to be born as mortals and that Ganga will cause much emotional pain to him. He also said that he will be only freed from this curse when he becomes angry upon Ganga's deeds. Mahabhisha then requested Brahma to be born as the son of Kuru king Pratipa and his wish was granted by Brahma.

Vrushika Mehta
Vrushika Mehta is an Indian television actress and dancer. Vrushika made her debut with Channel V's popular dance based youth show Dil Dosti Dance as the female lead of the show portraying the character of Dancing Diva "Sharon Rai Prakash". She has been cast opposite Shantanu Maheshwari aka Swayam (male lead) from the show. Vrushika Mehta has completed her graduation from Tolani College of Commerce, Mumbai, Maharashtra. She had also lent her voice for an episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui broadcast on Channel Bindass.
Early life
Vrushika was born 18 February 1994 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India into a Gujarati family. She now lives in Mumbai. Vrushika began exploring her potential as a dancer from her high school days itself by participating in various dance competitions and winning many in the solo dance category in the genre of contemporary. She went onto win the duet dance category with her partner Sonal Bandekar at Dance Mumbai Dance, 2011 organized by Terrence Lewis Academy. She further was selected to be a part of a Marathi Dance reality show Khallas Dance Ekach Chance on Mi Marathi channel where she was mentored by Mayuresh Wadkar.

Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya
Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya (English:Love,What Have You Done?) is a 2001 Indian romantic thriller film produced by Ram Gopal Varma and starring Fardeen Khan, Urmila Matondkar and Sonali Kulkarni. The soundtrack was composed by Sandeep Chowta and the songs are sung by Sonu Nigam, Sukhwinder Singh, Asha Bhosle, Alka Yagnik, Alisha Chinai, K. S. Chitra and Sowmya Raoh. The film marked Rajat Mukherjee's directorial debut. The film is mainly known for Matondkar's remarkable performance of an obsessed lover. The film was a huge success at the box office.
Plot
Jai (Fardeen Khan) is a fashion photographer, happily married to Geeta (Sonali Kulkarni). He meets Ria (Urmila Matondkar) in Goa. He takes photos of her without permission and publishes them in the magazine. The magazine becomes a huge hit because of those pictures. Vispy wants Ria to model for their magazine but she refuses because she is angry at Jai for publishing her pictures without asking her. Jai manages to convince her to model for their magazine. Ria begins to fall in love with Jai. Her father (Suresh Oberoi) is really happy that his daughter is finally in love (he doesn't know its Jai). Ria, to talk to Jai about marriage, goes to his house and gets a shocking surprise that Jai is married to Geeta. Stubborn and always having her way, she can't believe that the guy she loved is married.
