Racha

Racha (also Račha, Georgian: რაჭა, Račʼa) is a highland area in western Georgia, located in the upper Rioni river valley and hemmed in by the Greater Caucasus mountains. Under Georgia’s current subdivision, Racha is included in the Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti region (mkhare) as the municipalities of Oni and Ambrolauri.

Racha occupies 2,854 km² in the north-eastern corner of western Georgia. Spurs of the Greater Caucasus crest separates Racha from the Georgian historical regions of Svaneti and Lechkhumi on the north-west and from Imereti on the south, while the main Caucasus ridge forms a boundary with Russia’s North Ossetia. On the east, Racha is bordered by breakaway South Ossetia, officially part of Georgia’s Shida Kartli region.

History

Racha had been part of Colchis and Caucasian Iberia since ancient times and its main town Oni was said to have been founded by King Parnajom of Iberia in the 2nd century BC. Upon creation of the unified Georgian kingdom in the 11th century, Racha became one of the duchies (saeristavo) within it. Rati of the Baghvashi family was the first duke (eristavi) appointed by King Bagrat III. Descendants of Rati and his son Kakhaber, eponymous father of Racha’s ruling dynasty of Kakhaberisdze, governed the province until 1278. In 1278 King David VI Narin abolished the duchy during his war against the Mongols. In the mid-14th century, the duchy was restored under the rule of the Charelidze family.

Ram Charan is an Indian film actor, dancer, producer, businessman and entrepreneur, who works in Telugu cinema.He won two state Nandi Awards, two Filmfare Awards South, two CineMAA Awards, and one Santosham Best Actor Award. He is popularly known as Mega Power Star of Telugu Cinema. Ram Charan ranked #69 in 2013 India's Forbes list with earnings of ₹12.67 crore (US$1.9 million).

Personal life

Ram Charan was born to Telugu actor Chiranjeevi and Surekha. He has two sisters. He is the grandson of Allu Rama Lingaiah and the nephew of Nagendra Babu, Pawan Kalyan, and Allu Aravind.He is the cousin of Allu Arjun, Varun Tej and Sai Dharam Tej. Charan got married to Upasana Kamineni, the vice-chairman of Apollo Charity and chief editor of B Positive magazine, in Hyderabad on 1 December 2011. Upasana is the granddaughter of Prathap C. Reddy, the Executive Chairman of the Apollo Hospitals. Subsequently, they got married on 14 June 2012 at the Temple Trees Farm House.

Ram Charan is an equestrian, and entrepreneur. He owns the polo team Ram Charan Hyderabad Polo Riding Club. He serves on the board of directors of MAA TV.

Mani Sharma

Mani Sharma is a music director known for his works in Telugu and Tamil films. He is also known as "Melody Brahma" (God of Melody) for his contributions to music in Tollywood. Legendary singers S. P. Balasubrahmanyam & K. S. Chithra recorded maximum number of songs in his composition. Mani has scored music for more than 175 films in Telugu, Tamil and other South Indian Languages. He has received two Nandi Awards, three Filmfare Awards and three Music Mirchi Awards.

Early life

Mani Sharma was born in Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh to violinist Y.N. Sharma. He spent most of his childhood days in Chennai.

Career

Mani Sharma started his career as a keyboard player in the late 1980s under the guidance of music director Sri Satyam. As a keyboard player, he toured with Padma Bhushan Dr. S.P.Balasubrahmanyam. He used to work with Murali Krish and Chakri Policherla under Maestro Ilaiyaraaja in Chennai.

Mani was also a keyboard player for Raj-Koti and M. M. Keeravani. He was approached by Ram Gopal Varma for the background score of Antham. Varma asked him to compose a single song for his film and he agreed. Then he continued to compose background music for other films like Raathri (Raat), Preminchukundam Raa etc. His first film as a full-time music composer was Super Heroes. Later he got the breakthrough with Chiranjeevi's 1998 film Bavagaru Bagunnara.

Ajmal Ameer

Ajmal Ameer is an Indian film actor, who works in the Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu film industries. He has also acted in one English movie. He has won two Filmfare Awards South.

Background

Ajmal was born in Aluva, Kerala. He studied medicine in National Pirogov Memorial Medical University in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, and had plans to open a hospital in future. Ajmal has one brother Askar who is set to make his acting debut in the Malayalam film Holy Shit.

Career

Ajmal's debut film was Pranayakalam, opposite Vimala Raman. This was followed by the Tamil film Anjathe, directed by Myshkin, in which he played an angry young man. The film became a high critical as well as commercial success, with Ajmal receiving several awards for his performance. He next starred in the Malayalam film Madambi alongside Mohanlal. Madambi remains his only hit in Malayalam. He also acted in an international production De Nova, which went unnoticed. The anti-hero character, Vasanthan Perumal, he portrayed in the 2011 Tamil movie Ko earned him a lot of appreciation. Based on an online poll conducted by The Times Of India, Ajmal won the Chennai Times Film Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role Male. In 2013 he played an independent cinematographer in the suspense thriller Bangles.
