The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is the domestic intelligence and security service of the United States, which simultaneously serves as the nation's prime Federal law enforcement organization. Operating under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of Justice, FBI is concurrently a member of the U.S. Intelligence Community and reports to both the Attorney General and the Director of National Intelligence. A leading U.S. counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and criminal investigative organization, FBI has jurisdiction over violations of more than 200 categories of federal crimes.
Although many of FBI's functions are unique, its activities in support of national security are comparable to those of the British MI5 and the Russian FSB. Unlike the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), which has no law enforcement authority and is focused on intelligence collection overseas, FBI is primarily a domestic agency, maintaining 56 field offices in major cities throughout the United States, and more than 400 resident agencies in lesser cities and areas across the nation. At an FBI field office, a senior-level FBI officer concurrently serves as the representative of the Director of National Intelligence.

She went on to earn her J.D. from Yale Law School in 1973. After a stint as a congressional legal counsel, she moved to Arkansas, marrying Bill Clinton in 1975. She co-founded Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families in 1977, became the first female chair of the Legal Services Corporation in 1978, and was named the first female partner at Rose Law Firm in 1979. While First Lady of Arkansas from 1979 to 1981, and 1983 to 1992, she led a task force that reformed Arkansas' public school system, and served on the board of directors of Wal-Mart among other corporations.
Harold Watson "Trey" Gowdy III (born August 22, 1964) is an American attorney, politician and former prosecutor. Before his election to Congress, Gowdy was the solicitor (district attorney) for the state's Seventh Judicial Circuit, comprising Spartanburg and Cherokee counties. From 1994 to 2000, he was a federal prosecutor for the U.S. Attorney for the District of South Carolina.
In 2014, Gowdy became chairman of a House Select Committee to investigate the 2012 Benghazi attack.
Trey Gowdy was born on August 22, 1964, in Greenville, South Carolina. He is the son of Harold Watson "Hal" Gowdy, Jr, MD and Novalene (née Evans). He grew up in Spartanburg, where as a young man, he delivered newspapers for the local daily, and worked at the community market. Gowdy graduated from Spartanburg High School in 1982. The FBI Files is an American television docudrama series that originally ran from 1998 to 2006. It was carried by the Discovery Channel cable network and produced by New Dominion Pictures of Suffolk, Virginia. The show was cancelled by the Discovery Channel in 2006; however, Escape (TV network), Discovery Channel and its sister network, Investigation Discovery, air re-runs, although until October 2012, Investigation Discovery only showed episodes from seasons 5,6, and 7. As of October 2012, the network now airs episodes from the earlier seasons (although not necessarily in chronological order), with updated information about the cases at the end of most episodes. Up to late September 2012, WE tv showed episodes from seasons 1-4, but the network had removed the episode introductions by Jim Kallstrom. In the UK on Channel 5, The FBI Files airs most Saturday nights before QuizCall. It has also been shown on TV Denmark and Discovery Australia. All seven seasons have been released on DVD.

The Sixties were kicking into full swing as The FBI moved into its sophomore season. Agents Erskine (Efrem Zimbalist, Jr., more taciturn than ever) and Rhodes (Stephen Brooks) are dispatched to the far-flung corners of the USA by Assistant Director Ward (Philip Abbott) to tackle the big ones – kidnapping, extortion, murder, espionage and terror. Produced with full government cooperation with stories drawn from the real files of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, The FBI set a new high mark in the depiction of law enforcement on television, giving viewers TV that was equally thrilling as it was realistic. Guest stars to be found in this collection include Ralph Meeker, Robert Blake, Jack Lord, Richard Anderson, Fritz Weaver, Suzanne Pleshette and Ralph Bellamy.

'89 Dodge Ram 350 - We've hit the news and the most popular articles on the web! I have been getting a ton of requests to make a video on the 1989 FBI Surveillance van that we recently purchased on the government auction. Seems to me that everyone loves this brown Dodge Ram which is actually a surveillance van that was used quite a lot, even though it only has 23,000 miles! How cool! So many gadgets were found and it was just an adventure to get to try them all and see how everything works and we even found tapes and cd's which showed FBI investigation clips from 2013 and earlier. The vehicle is up for auction right now on eBay at http://www.ebay.com/it...
