Saturday was a big day at the Camp Nou. Not only did the players and fans celebrate the 23rd Liga title, but they also gave a very special tribute to the player with the record number of appearances for the club, Xavi Hernández. After 17 seasons, the Catalan midfielder is finally departing, and our cameras followed him from the moment he left home right through to kick-off against Deportivo, with the supporters unfurling a huge banner in his honour.
“I’ll get nervous when I see all my family and friends” he confesses in this very special video memento of the day the club offered a heartfelt send-off to one of the greatest players ever to wear its famous shirt.

La jornada del sábado en el Camp Nou fue muy especial para todo el Barça. Se celebraba la 23ª Liga y se despedía con todos los honores el jugador que más veces ha vestido la camiseta azulgrana. Xavi Hernández jugaba su último partido de Liga y se despedía del Estadio que la ha disfrutado durante las últimas 17 temporadas. Era un día señalado para Xavi, y él era consciente. En este vídeo le acompañamos desde que sale de su domicilio en dirección al Camp Nou hasta los instantes previos al partido contra el Deportivo, cuando el Estadio le dedicó un 'tifo' de homenaje.
En este vídeo de nueve minutos puedes seguir Xavi desde dentro de su coche y vivir con él las sensaciones previas a una jornada de lo más emocionante. "Me pondré nervioso cuando vea toda mi familia y mis amigos", confesaba el capitán en el trayecto hacia el Camp Nou. No te pierdas uno de los despedidas más especiales y vívelo desde dentro.

La jornada de dissabte al Camp Nou va ser molt especial per a tot el Barça. Se celebrava la 23a Lliga i s’acomiadava amb tots els honors el jugador que més vegades ha vestit la samarreta blaugrana. Xavi Hernández jugava el seu últim partit de Lliga i s’acomiadava de l’Estadi que l’ha gaudit durant les últimes 17 temporades. Era un dia assenyalat per a Xavi, i ell n’era conscient. En aquest vídeo l’acompanyem des que surt del seu domicili en direcció al Camp Nou fins als instants previs al partit contra el Deportivo, quan l’Estadi li va dedicar un ‘tifo’ d’homenatge.
En aquest vídeo de nou minuts pots seguir Xavi des de dins del seu cotxe i viure amb ell les sensacions prèvies a una jornada d’allò més emocionant. “Em posaré nerviós quan vegi tota la meva família i els meus amics”, confessava el capità en el trajecte cap al Camp Nou. Tribute To a Football Legend - XAVI HERNANDEZ
- Xavi Hernandez said goodbye to 17 seasons in La Liga with Barcelona as he gave a speech after his side's 2-2 draw with Deportivo La Coruna.
The 35-year-old midfielder is leaving the club in his 25th year as a Blaugrana player, progressing through the youth team to form part of the engine in their greatest ever side.
Xavi lifted his eighth La Liga trophy after the game, which was Barcelona's 23rd in their history, before delivering his speech.

Xavier "Xavi" Hernández Creus (Catalan: [ˈ(t)ʃaβi ərˈnandəz ˈkɾɛws] Spanish: [ˈtʃaβj erˈnandeθ ˈkɾeus]; born 25 January 1980) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Qatari club Al Sadd SC. Xavi came through La Masia, the Barcelona youth academy, at the age of 11. He made his first-team debut against Mallorca in August 1998. Since then he has played 700 matches, scored 82 goals and made more than 180 assists for over 50 players. Xavi is the first player in Barcelona's history to play 150 international matches. Highly regarded for his humble persona and team ethos, Xavi is viewed as being the embodiment of the tiki-taka passing style of play, and is considered to be one of the greatest central midfielders of all time. He is also considered by some to be the greatest Spanish player ever.
Xavi won the U-20 World Cup for Spain in 1999, and the Olympic Silver Medal at the 2000 Olympics. Since making his senior team debut in 2000, he has been capped 133 times for the Spanish national team, and has been seen as an influential figure in the team's tremendous success. He played an integral role in Spain's victory at the 2010 World Cup, as well as their successes at both Euro 2008 and Euro 2012. He had a 91% passing success rate at the 2010 World Cup and was named in the World Cup All-star Team. He was named Player of the Tournament by UEFA at Euro 2008. He was also named in the UEFA Euro Team of the Tournament in 2008 as well as 2012. After the 2014 World Cup, Xavi announced his retirement from international football.

Alex Honnold
Alex J. Honnold (born August 17, 1985) is an American rock climber best known for his free solo ascents of big walls. He has broken a number of speed records, most notably the only known solo climb (mostly free climbing with a few points of aid) of the Yosemite Triple crown, an 18-hour 50 minute link up of Mount Watkins, The Nose, and the Regular Northwest Face of Half Dome. He and Hans Florine are the current record holders for the Nose with a climb time of 2:23:51. Honnold says that he likes tall, long routes and that he tries to do them quickly. He is the author of Alone on the Wall, a collaboration with David Roberts that details his climbing exploits.
Biography
Honnold was born in Sacramento, California. He started climbing when he was 11 years old. Upon graduating from the Mira Loma High School with a 4.7 GPA, he matriculated to the University of California Berkeley to study engineering. However, at the age of 19, he dropped out of school and has since devoted all his time to climbing. Between climbs, he runs or hikes to maintain fitness. Honnold lives out of his van, spending less than a thousand dollars per month, enabling him to follow the weather and climb all the time. Honnold prefers big walls and sport climbing, but enjoys any climb calling for extreme commitment, Yosemite being his favorite area because of its impressive walls and favorable weather. Honnold is inspired by such noted climbers as Peter Croft, John Bachar and Tommy Caldwell, and even more so by the stark simplicity and beauty of El Capitan.

Richard Wagner
Wilhelm Richard Wagner (/ˈvɑːɡnər/; German: [ˈʁiçaʁt ˈvaːɡnɐ]; 22 May 1813 – 13 February 1883) was a German composer, theatre director, polemicist, and conductor who is primarily known for his operas (or, as some of his later works were later known, "music dramas"). Unlike most opera composers, Wagner wrote both the libretto and the music for each of his stage works. Initially establishing his reputation as a composer of works in the romantic vein of Weber and Meyerbeer, Wagner revolutionised opera through his concept of the Gesamtkunstwerk ("total work of art"), by which he sought to synthesise the poetic, visual, musical and dramatic arts, with music subsidiary to drama, and which was announced in a series of essays between 1849 and 1852. Wagner realised these ideas most fully in the first half of the four-opera cycle Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung).
His compositions, particularly those of his later period, are notable for their complex textures, rich harmonies and orchestration, and the elaborate use of leitmotifs—musical phrases associated with individual characters, places, ideas or plot elements. His advances in musical language, such as extreme chromaticism and quickly shifting tonal centres, greatly influenced the development of classical music. Saturday was a big day at the Camp Nou. Not only did the players and fans celebrate the 23rd Liga title, but they also gave a very special tribute to the player with the record number of appearances for the club, Xavi Hernández. After 17 seasons, the Catalan midfielder is finally departing, and our cameras followed him from the moment he left home right through to kick-off against Deportivo, with the supporters unfurling a huge banner in his honour. “I’ll get nervous when I see all my family and friends” he confesses in this very special video memento of the day the club offered a heartfelt send-off to one of the greatest players ever to wear its famous shirt. _____________ La jornada del sábado en el Camp Nou fue muy especial para todo el Barça. Se celebraba la 23ª Liga y se despedía con todos los honores el jugador que más veces ha vestido la camiseta azulgrana. Xavi Hernández jugaba su último partido de Liga y se despedía del Estadio que la ha disfrutado durante las últimas 17 temporadas. Era un día señalado para Xavi, y él era consciente. En este vídeo le acompañamos desde que sale de su domicilio en dirección al Camp Nou hasta los instantes previos al partido contra el Deportivo, cuando el Estadio le dedicó un 'tifo' de homenaje. Cubepix by Xavi's Lab Xavi's Lab, the Special Projects division of Glassworks Barcelona, have created some pretty cool stuff but this time they have surpassed themselves. We are very proud to present Cubepix, a fully interactive and real-time 4D projection mapping package. It has been conceived and developed entirely by our resident Spanish tech-genius Xavi Tribo, always at the forefront of emerging technologies and wizardry. Shown here in prototype form, it has been devised using a secret recipe of Xavi's, combining a projector, a Microsoft Kinect, 8 Arduino boards, 64 servo motors, 64 cardboard boxes and bucket-loads of brainpower. Using all of the above, users are able to interact and influence the way the boxes move and are illuminated. Not only that, the software knows how and when the boxes are going to turn and projects onto them accordingly. The results are stunning and great fun. The film below is just (we say just, it's pretty damn cool) Xavi's prototype but its potential for use in interactive and experiential advertising is really exciting. Glassworks always strives to be at the forefront of new and exciting ways these cutting-edge technologies (in this instance, conceived by Glassworks) can further and excite the industry we work in. Saturday was a big day at the Camp Nou. Not only did the players and fans celebrate the 23rd Liga title, but they also gave a very special tribute to the player with the record number of appearances for the club, Xavi Hernández. After 17 seasons, the Catalan midfielder is finally departing, and our cameras followed him from the moment he left home right through to kick-off against Deportivo, with the supporters unfurling a huge banner in his honour.
“I’ll get nervous when I see all my family and friends” he confesses in this very special video memento of the day the club offered a heartfelt send-off to one of the greatest players ever to wear its famous shirt.

La jornada del sábado en el Camp Nou fue muy especial para todo el Barça. Se celebraba la 23ª Liga y se despedía con todos los honores el jugador que más veces ha vestido la camiseta azulgrana. Xavi Hernández jugaba su último partido de Liga y se despedía del Estadio que la ha disfrutado durante las últimas 17 temporadas. Era un día señalado para Xavi, y él era consciente. En este vídeo le acompañamos desde que sale de su domicilio en dirección al Camp Nou hasta los instantes previos al partido contra el Deportivo, cuando el Estadio le dedicó un 'tifo' de homenaje.
En este vídeo de nueve minutos puedes seguir Xavi desde dentro de su coche y vivir con él las sensaciones previas a una jornada de lo más emocionante. "Me pondré nervioso cuando vea toda mi familia y mis amigos", confesaba el capitán en el trayecto hacia el Camp Nou. No te pierdas uno de los despedidas más especiales y vívelo desde dentro.

Xavi's Lab, the Special Projects division of Glassworks Barcelona, have created some pretty cool stuff but this time they have surpassed themselves.
We are very proud to present Cubepix, a fully interactive and real-time 4D projection mapping package. It has been conceived and developed entirely by our resident Spanish tech-genius Xavi Tribo, always at the forefront of emerging technologies and wizardry.
Shown here in prototype form, it has been devised using a secret recipe of Xavi's, combining a projector, a Microsoft Kinect, 8 Arduino boards, 64 servo motors, 64 cardboard boxes and bucket-loads of brainpower.
Using all of the above, users are able to interact and influence the way the boxes move and are illuminated. Not only that, the software knows how and when the boxes are going to turn and projects onto them accordingly. The results are stunning and great fun.
The film below is just (we say just, it's pretty damn cool) Xavi's prototype but its potential for use in interactive and experiential advertising is really exciting. Glassworks always strives to be at the forefront of new and exciting ways these cutting-edge technologies (in this instance, conceived by Glassworks) can further and excite the industry we work in.
