The Other Guys: Celebrating 120 Years of St. Andrews Girls
The Other Guys invite you to join them in celebrating 120 years of St Andrews Girls. Our tongue-in-cheek parody takes you on a journey around this Fife costal town as we try and shake off our rebuff from the now Duchess of Cambridge, formerly Kate Middleton. We try, and fail, to acquire a match at Britain's "top-match-making-university".
The video celebrates two special milestones. First, it recognises the 120th Anniversary of the admittance of female students to the 600 year old institution, The University of St Andrews. Second, it celebrates forty years of wonderful work by the charity Breast Cancer Care.
Beyond the laughs, the video seeks to raise awareness and money for this truly amazing charity. Every year 50,000 people hear the devastating news that they have this life-threatening illness, 300 of those who are diagnosed are men. Breast Cancer Care is there for every one of them, providing expert information and professional support when it's needed most. The group know first hand how this can affect individuals and their families and by donating to, and raising awareness for, Breast Cancer Care we hope to help people through that very difficult time.

St Andrews (Latin: S. Andrea(s);Scots: Saunt Aundraes;Scottish Gaelic: Cill Rìmhinn) is a former royal burgh on the east coast of Fife in Scotland, 10 miles (16 km) southeast of Dundee and 30 miles (50 km) northeast of Edinburgh. The town is home to the University of St Andrews, the third oldest university in the English-speaking world and the oldest in Scotland. The University is an integral part of the burgh, and during term time students make up approximately one third of the town's population. St Andrews has a population of 16,680, making it the fifth largest settlement in Fife.
The town is named after Saint Andrew the Apostle. There has been an important church in St Andrews since at least the 8th century, and a bishopric since at least the 11th century. The settlement grew to the west of St Andrews cathedral with the southern side of the Scores to the north and the Kinness burn to the south. The burgh soon became the ecclesiastical capital of Scotland, a position which was held until the Scottish Reformation. The famous cathedral, the largest in Scotland, now lies in ruins.

Joint Base Andrews
Joint Base Andrews is a United States military facility located in Prince George's County, Maryland. The facility is under the jurisdiction of the United States Air Force 11th Wing, Air Force District of Washington (AFDW). In 2009, Andrews Air Force Base and Naval Air Facility Washington were merged to form Joint Base Andrews.
The base is named for Lieutenant General Frank Maxwell Andrews (1884–1943), former Commanding General of United States Forces in the European Theater of Operations during World War II. The base is widely known for serving as the home base of two Boeing VC-25 aircraft which have the call sign Air Force One while the President of the United States is on board.
For statistical purposes the base is delineated as a census-designated place by the U.S. Census Bureau. As of the 2010 census, the resident population was 2,973.
Overview
The host unit at Andrews is the 11th Wing (11 WG), assigned to the Air Force District of Washington. A non-flying wing, the 11 WG is responsible for maintaining emergency reaction rotary-wing airlift and other National Capital Region contingency response capabilities critical to national security, and for organizing, training, equipping and deploying combat-ready forces for Air and Space Expeditionary Forces (AEFs). The 11th WG commander is Colonel Bradley T. Hoagland. The Command Chief Master Sergeant is Chief Master Sergeant Vance C. Kondon.

Joint base
A joint base (JB) is a base of the United States military utilized by multiple military services; one service hosts one or more other services as tenants on the base. In most cases, joint bases have interservice support agreements (ISSAs) to govern how the host provides services to the tenants.
The practice originated during Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC), 1993, in which joint reserve bases were established at Willow Grove, PA and Fort Worth, TX. Base Realignment and Closure, 2005 added to this list when 26 bases were combined into twelve and renamed as joint bases. In addition, several other uses of the term "joint" are used in names of bases in the United States military and are described below.
BRAC 1993 joint reserve bases
JRBs at Willow Grove, PA and Fort Worth, TX were created during BRAC 1993; however, the name Joint Reserve Base was not used in the BRAC law. Instead, the BRAC realigned several reserve air assets to Carswell AFB (now NAS JRB Fort Worth) and NAS Willow Grove. It is not clear how or when these bases acquired the Joint Reserve Base name.

The Other
The Other is a 1972 psychological thriller film directed by Robert Mulligan, adapted for film by Tom Tryon from his novel of the same name. It stars Uta Hagen, Diana Muldaur, and Chris and Martin Udvarnoky.
Plot
It's a seemingly idyllic summer in 1935, and identical twins Niles and Holland Perry play around the bucolic family farm. Holland is an amoral mischief maker, though sympathetic Niles is often caught in their shenanigans. Niles carries a Prince Albert tobacco tin with him containing several secret trinkets, including something mysteriously wrapped in blue wax paper, and the Perry family ring, which had been handed down from their grandfather, through their father, to Holland, the older twin. Niles asks Holland to confirm that the ring is now indeed his. "Cripes yes, I gave it to you," is the response. Niles asks Holland to take the ring and the wrapped object back, but Holland insists "I gave them to you, they're yours now." Their obnoxious cousin Russell, whom the boys call "Piggy Lookadoo" behind his back, finds them in the apple cellar below the barn—a place they are not supposed to play—and happens to see the contents of the tobacco tin, including the ring. Russell cryptically states that the ring was supposed to be buried, and promises to "tell on" Niles to his father, Niles' Uncle George. Uncle George padlocks the door to the apple cellar to keep the kids from playing there, but there is another stairway inside the barn, giving them access to the cellar.

Plot: In the 10th film of the 66 Hopalong Cassidy movies, Russell Hayden makes his first (of 27 consecutive) appearances as Cassidy's sidekick/protégé "Lucky" Jenkins. The character's actual name in the many Clarence E. Mulford books that featured him was "Mesquite" Jenkins, and Hayden's role was billed in this film as Mesquite "Lucky" Jenkins, and this film was the first and last mention of Mesquite Jenkins. This initial pairing of the trio of William Boyd, Russell Hayden and George Hayes (who only became known as "Gabby" when he wasn't allowed by Paramount to carry his "Windy" moniker to Republic when he departed the Cassidy series, which makes any pre-1939 cast listing showing a credit listing for a George "Gabby" Hayes a misnomer and in error for those who don't care for revisionist film history) is the one that many western-film and/or Cassidy devotees consider the best of all the trio pairings in the series. This one finds the ranchers near a Wyoming Indian reservation suffering heavy losses because of cattle rustlers that leave signs that the Indians are the culprits. Hopalong Cassidy and his pals, Mesquite "Lucky" Jenkins and "Windy" Halliday buy the Bar Three ranch in the territory, and Cassidy suspects Andrews, the deputy government agent in charge of the reservation, of being the head of the rustlers. When Lone Eagle, a half-breed secretly working with the gang, is found murdered, Andrews incites the Indians to make war on the white men. Cassidy, as the leader of the ranchers, gains the confidence of the Indian chief by pointing out that Lone Eagle was "half-bad because he was half-white", and with the help of an Indian scout proves that Andrews killed Lone Eagle. The Indians then join forces with the ranchers in a Cassidy-led mounted charge against the rustler's stronghold, with the effective agitato score written by Lee Zahler for the earlier "Borderland" as the stirring background music.

The Other Guys: Celebrating 120 Years of St. Andrews Girls
The Other Guys invite you to join them in celebrating 120 years of St Andrews Girls. Our tongue-in-cheek parody takes you on a journey around this Fife costal town as we try and shake off our rebuff from the now Duchess of Cambridge, formerly Kate Middleton. We try, and fail, to acquire a match at Britain's "top-match-making-university".
The video celebrates two special milestones. First, it recognises the 120th Anniversary of the admittance of female students to the 600 year old institution, The University of St Andrews. Second, it celebrates forty years of wonderful work by the charity Breast Cancer Care.
Beyond the laughs, the video seeks to raise awareness and money for this truly amazing charity. Every year 50,000 people hear the devastating news that they have this life-threatening illness, 300 of those who are diagnosed are men. Breast Cancer Care is there for every one of them, providing expert information and professional support when it's needed most. The group know first hand how this can affect individuals and their families and by donating to, and raising awareness for, Breast Cancer Care we hope to help people through that very difficult time.

St Andrews is a former royal burgh on the east coast of Fife in Scotland, named after Saint Andrew the Apostle. The city is home to the University of St Andrews, the third oldest university in the English-speaking world, the oldest in Scotland and one of Britain's most prestigious. The Castle Course, St Andrews, Scotland - The newest addition to St Andrews Links, The Castle Course opened in 2008, making it the seventh course at the Home of Golf. Scotsman architect David McLay Kidd, creator of Bandon Dunes, transformed featureless farmland with more than a mile of clifftop waterfront into a "modern links" comparable to Kingsbarns and Castle Stuart. We had an opportunity to check out the Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle, and the foot hills around Stirling. We also spent some time at the Wallace monument. St. Andrews is a seaside town northeast of Edinburgh, on Scotland’s east coast. It's known for its many golf courses, including the Old Course, with the landmark Swilcan Bridge at the 18th hole. The British Golf Museum chronicles the history of U.K. golf. On a headland nearby are the ruins of St. Andrews Castle, with its medieval bottle dungeon. Close to the castle is the University of St. Andrews, founded in 1413.
St. Andrews is a town on the east coast of Fife in Scotland, 10 miles (16 km) southeast of Dundee and 30 miles (50 km) northeast of Edinburgh. The town of St. Andrews is home to the University of St Andrews, the third oldest university in the English-speaking world and the oldest in Scotland. According to some rankings, it is ranked as the third best university in the United Kingdom, behind Oxbridge.
St. Andrews is named after Saint Andrew the Apostle. There has been an important church in St Andrews since at least the 8th century, and a bishopric since at least the 11th century . The settlement grew to the west of St Andrews cathedral with the southern side of the Scores to the north and the Kinness burn to the south. The burgh soon became the ecclesiastical capital of Scotland, a position which was held until the Scottish Reformation. The famous cathedral, the largest in Scotland, now lies in ruins.
St Andrews is also known worldwide as the "home of golf". This is in part because the Royal and Ancient Golf Club, founded in 1754, exercises legislative authority over the game worldwide (except in the United States and Mexico), and also because the famous links (acquired by the town in 1894) is the most frequent venue for The Open Championship, the oldest of golf's four major championships.
Visitors travel to St Andrews in great numbers for several courses ranked amongst the finest in the world, as well as for the sandy beaches. The Martyrs Memorial, erected to the honour of Patrick Hamilton, George Wishart, and other martyrs of the Reformation epoch, stands at the west end of the Scores on a cliff overlooking the sea.

The Castle Course, St Andrews, Scotland - The newest addition to St Andrews Links, The Castle Course opened in 2008, making it the seventh course at the Home of Golf. Scotsman architect David McLay Kidd, creator of Bandon Dunes, transformed featureless farmland with more than a mile of clifftop waterfront into a "modern links" comparable to Kingsbarns and Castle Stuart. The setting is striking with wonderful views of St Andrews, plus a collection of seaside holes played along, around and over the cliffs. The holes on each nine play up from the clubhouse to higher ground before gliding back down toward the North Sea. The feature hole is No. 17, a three par played across a ravine requiring a “do or die swing” where anything short or right is gone. A caddie is well worth your employ at the Castle Course if for no other reason than your tee shots: the line you want is seldom the one you see. Approaches allow play for bump and run as well as pitches into the heavily contoured greens. Golfing on the edge of paradise in the Home of Golf ~ The Castle Course, St Andrews.

The Other Guys: Celebrating 120 Years of St. Andrews Girls
The Other Guys invite you to join them in celebrating 120 years of St Andrews Girls. Our tongue-in-cheek parody takes you on a journey around this Fife costal town as we try and shake off our rebuff from the now Duchess of Cambridge, formerly Kate Middleton. We try, and fail, to acquire a match at Britain's "top-match-making-university".
The video celebrates two special milestones. First, it recognises the 120th Anniversary of the admittance of female students to the 600 year old institution, The University of St Andrews. Second, it celebrates forty years of wonderful work by the charity Breast Cancer Care.
Beyond the laughs, the video seeks to raise awareness and money for this truly amazing charity. Every year 50,000 people hear the devastating news that they have this life-threatening illness, 300 of those who are diagnosed are men. Breast Cancer Care is there for every one of them, providing expert information and professional support when it's needed most. The Other Guys: Celebrating 120 Years of St. Andrews Girls
The Other Guys invite you to join them in celebrating 120 years of St Andrews Girls. Our tongue-in-cheek parody takes you on a journey around this Fife costal town as we try and shake off our rebuff from the now Duchess of Cambridge, formerly Kate Middleton. We try, and fail, to acquire a match at Britain's "top-match-making-university".
The video celebrates two special milestones. First, it recognises the 120th Anniversary of the admittance of female students to the 600 year old institution, The University of St Andrews. Second, it celebrates forty years of wonderful work by the charity Breast Cancer Care.
Beyond the laughs, the video seeks to raise awareness and money for this truly amazing charity. Every year 50,000 people hear the devastating news that they have this life-threatening illness, 300 of those who are diagnosed are men. Breast Cancer Care is there for every one of them, providing expert information and professional support when it's needed most. The group know first hand how this can affect individuals and their families and by donating to, and raising awareness for, Breast Cancer Care we hope to help people through that very difficult time.
