Filmmaker Troy Reed explores the rise and fall of Washington, D.C. cocaine distributor Rayful Edmund in this documentary tracing the life and career of a man who went from making millions to being incarcerated, but in prison his cocaine business continued to grow.
He was sentenced to 25 years to life in 1989 for running a cocaine empire but that is just the beginning of his story. Upon arriving at Lewisburg penitentiary to serve his life sentence, Rayful was placed in a cell with the third largest Colombian cocaine distributor in the world "Chicy" the son of Griselda Blanco aka the Godmother of Cocaine in Colombia who is the central person in the documentaty Cocaine Cowboys.
The Federal Government had no idea that they had just placed two of the biggest drug dealers in the world in the same prison in the same cell. Rayful and Chicy would go on to smuggle thousands of pounds of cocaine into Washington D.C, until Rayful decided to become a Government informant.

Law of the Plainsman is a Western television series starring Michael Ansara that aired on the NBC television network from October 1, 1959, until May 5, 1960. The character of Native American U.S. Marshal Sam Buckhart was introduced in two episodes ("The Indian" and "The Raid") of the popular ABC Western television series The Rifleman starring Chuck Connors as Lucas McCain.
Law of the Plainsman is distinctive and unique in that it was one of the few television programs that featured a Native American as the lead character, a bold move for U.S.network television at that time. Ansara had earlier appeared in the series Broken Arrow, having portrayed the Apache chief, Cochise. Ansara, however, was not Native American but of Syrian descent.
Ansara played Sam Buckhart, an Apache Indian who saved the life of a U.S. Cavalry officer after an Indian ambush. When the officer died, he left Sam money that was used for an education at private schools and Harvard University. After school, he returned to New Mexico where he became a Deputy Marshal working for Marshal Andy Morrison (Dayton Lummis). He lived in a boarding house run by Martha Commager (Nora Marlowe). The only other continuing character was 8-year old Tess Logan (Gina Gillespie), an orphan who had been rescued by Buckhart. Robert Harland, later of Target: The Corruptors! starred in seven episodes as Deputy Billy Lordan. Wayne Rogers, who went on to star in another Four Star western, Stagecoach West, and later, M*A*S*H, also played deputy Lordan in several episodes.

The Man Behind the Badge is the title of a half-hour American television police drama series which aired on the CBS network from 1953-1954, originally hosted by Norman Rose. In its second syndicated season, the host became character actor Charles Bickford. Years later, Bickford appeared as one of the owners of Shiloh Ranch in the NBC western series, The Virginian.
In its first season, The Man Behind the Badge aired live on Sundays at 9:30 p.m. EST opposite ABC's Jukebox Jury.[1] Beginning in January 1955, a filmed, syndicated edition of the program was distributed to local stations.

Rayford Barnes
Rayford Barnes (October 23, 1920 - November 11, 2000) was an American film and TV character actor from Whitesboro, Texas who appeared in films, mainly westerns, such as Hondo, The Burning Hills, Fort Massacre, The Wild Bunch, The Hunting Party, and Cahill U.S. Marshal. He also appeared in the 1955 comedy Bowery to Bagdad.
Barnes also appeared on dozens of TV series most notably The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp in which he portrayed Ike Clanton. Other series he appeared on include Father Knows Best, Highway Patrol, The Untouchables, Cheyenne, Maverick, Have Gun - Will Travel, The Twilight Zone, The Big Valley, Daniel Boone, The High Chaparral, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Wonder Woman, Little House on the Prairie, Fantasy Island, The Dukes of Hazzard, and Walker, Texas Ranger. His final role was on the NBC medical drama ER in 1996.
Barnes lived in Santa Monica, California, with his long-time companion, Debbie. He often spoke about his movie making experiences with John Wayne, for whom he had great admiration. He had a younger brother, Lou Dupont, who was also an entertainer. Barnes died in Santa Monica, California on November 11, 2000 at age 80. His brother Lou Dupont died October 21, 2012, in Las Vegas, NV. at 83. Lou leaves one daughter, Glennel Warren.

Rayful Edmond
Rayful Edmond III (born November 26, 1964 in Washington, D.C.), is a notorious former drug kingpin who is largely credited with introducing crack cocaine into the Washington, D.C. area. During this time period, Washington, D.C. was known as the "murder capital" because crack cocaine had ravaged the city to the point where people were afraid to leave their homes or take public transportation.
Criminal career
Edmond was alleged to have moved large amounts of cocaine. In an indictment involving two of Edmond's associates, it was said that they bought between 1,000 and 2,000 kilos per week in 1992 from the Trujillo-Blanco brothers, who were associated with the Medellin cartel, and sold the drugs to Washington area wholesalers. He was known to have spent some $457,619 in an exclusive Georgetown store (Linea Pitti, specializing in Italian men's clothing) owned by Charles Wynn who was later convicted on 34 counts of money laundering. Edmond's estimated revenue was approximately $300 million annually. In one year, Edmond's organization, which employed 150 people, committed 30 murders.

There really is a town called Ludlow, in the right area in Champaign County, IL, and the town Paxton is just north of it in Ford County. Filmmaker Troy Reed explores the rise and fall of Washington, D.C. cocaine distributor Rayful Edmund in this documentary tracing the life and career of a man who went from making millions to being incarcerated, but in prison his cocaine business continued to grow.
He was sentenced to 25 years to life in 1989 for running a cocaine empire but that is just the beginning of his story. Upon arriving at Lewisburg penitentiary to serve his life sentence, Rayful was placed in a cell with the third largest Colombian cocaine distributor in the world "Chicy" the son of Griselda Blanco aka the Godmother of Cocaine in Colombia who is the central person in the documentaty Cocaine Cowboys.
The Federal Government had no idea that they had just placed two of the biggest drug dealers in the world in the same prison in the same cell. Rayful and Chicy would go on to smuggle thousands of pounds of cocaine into Washington D.C, until Rayful decided to become a Government informant.

Series Premise:
26 Men is a syndicated American western television series about the Arizona Rangers, an elite group commissioned in 1901 by the legislature of the Arizona Territory and limited, for financial reasons, to twenty-six active members. Russell Hayden was the producer of the series and the co-composer of the theme song.[1] The series aired between October 15, 1957 and June 30, 1959, for a total of 78 episodes.
The program stars Tristram Coffin as the real life Captain Thomas H. Rynning and Kelo Henderson, a Golden Boot Award winner, as Ranger Clint Travis. The series was based on true incidents with episodes centered on the Arizona Rangers' attempts to maintain order.

Law of the Plainsman is a Western television series starring Michael Ansara that aired on the NBC television network from October 1, 1959, until May 5, 1960. The character of Native American U.S. Marshal Sam Buckhart was introduced in two episodes ("The Indian" and "The Raid") of the popular ABC Western television series The Rifleman starring Chuck Connors as Lucas McCain.
Law of the Plainsman is distinctive and unique in that it was one of the few television programs that featured a Native American as the lead character, a bold move for U.S.network television at that time. Ansara had earlier appeared in the series Broken Arrow, having portrayed the Apache chief, Cochise. Ansara, however, was not Native American but of Syrian descent.
Ansara played Sam Buckhart, an Apache Indian who saved the life of a U.S. Cavalry officer after an Indian ambush. When the officer died, he left Sam money that was used for an education at private schools and Harvard University. After school, he returned to New Mexico where he became a Deputy Marshal working for Marshal Andy Morrison (Dayton Lummis). He lived in a boarding house run by Martha Commager (Nora Marlowe). The only other continuing character was 8-year old Tess Logan (Gina Gillespie), an orphan who had been rescued by Buckhart. Robert Harland, later of Target: The Corruptors! starred in seven episodes as Deputy Billy Lordan. Wayne Rogers, who went on to star in another Four Star western, Stagecoach West, and later, M*A*S*H, also played deputy Lordan in several episodes.

In its second syndicated season, the host became character actor Charles Bickford. Years later, Bickford appeared as one of the owners of Shiloh Ranch in the NBC western series, The Virginian.
In its first season, The Man Behind the Badge aired live on Sundays at 9:30 p.m. EST opposite ABC's Jukebox Jury.[1] Beginning in January 1955, a filmed, syndicated edition of the program was distributed to local stations.

200 grasshoppers were used for the film. During the filming, they began to cannibalize one another, so by the time the last shots were done, only a dozen were left.
The National Guardsmen wear the insignia of the U.S. 33rd Infantry Division, which is indeed the designated unit of the Illinois National Guard. The soldiers in Chicago wear the insignia of the U.S. Fifth Army, which at the time was headquartered in Chicago, where the film takes place.
There really is a town called Ludlow, in the right area in Champaign County, IL, and the town Paxton is just north of it in Ford County. They are also near Chanute AFB, where reporter Audrey Aimes (Peggie Castle) was headed at the beginning of the film.

Filmmaker Troy Reed explores the rise and fall of Washington, D.C. cocaine distributor Rayful Edmund in this documentary tracing the life and career of a man who went from making millions to being incarcerated, but in prison his cocaine business continued to grow.
He was sentenced to 25 years to life in 1989 for running a cocaine empire but that is just the beginning of his story. Upon arriving at Lewisburg penitentiary to serve his life sentence, Rayful was placed in a cell with the third largest Colombian cocaine distributor in the world "Chicy" the son of Griselda Blanco aka the Godmother of Cocaine in Colombia who is the central person in the documentaty Cocaine Cowboys.
The Federal Government had no idea that they had just placed two of the biggest drug dealers in the world in the same prison in the same cell. Rayful and Chicy would go on to smuggle thousands of pounds of cocaine into Washington D.C, until Rayful decided to become a Government informant.

Maserati Rick Carter was a Detroit Drug-lord in the 80′s he was nicknamed The Eastside King Of Crack. After 3 short years in the crack trade Rick controlled one of the most prominent networks operating on the Eastside of Detroit along with his bestfriend Demetrius Holloway. Carter and Halloway ran a peaceful business working with other drug organizations ran by Johnny Curry whose wife Cathy was the niece of the mayor at the time the late Coleman Young.
After YBI Gang and The Chambers Brothers (the movie New Jack City was about them) was taken down. Plus the arrest and conviction of the Curry Brothers and 6 of their top lieutenants in 87, Rick and Demetrius made the Eastside their personal kingdom. Joining forces with teenage drug supplier "White Boy Rick" and murder for hire Reggie Browns. Rick's operation took off allowing him to live and spend lavishly. To mask the proceeds of his drug operation, Rick invested millions in local businesses which served as drop off and pick up points for his runners. Everything was going smoothly until the day Carter and Edward Hanserd had a heated argument over a debt Edward owed to Carter. The two would face off numerous times with gunfire but on Sept. 12, 1989 outside of one of Rick's businesses Carter was shot in the stomach leaving Rick hospitalized and Rick left one of Edward's solider slightly wounded.

After 3 short years in the crack trade Rick controlled one of the most prominent networks operating on the Eastside of Detroit along with his bestfriend Demetrius Holloway. Carter and Halloway ran a peaceful business working with other drug organizations ran by Johnny Curry whose wife Cathy was the niece of the mayor at the time the late Coleman Young.
After YBI Gang and The Chambers Brothers (the movie New Jack City was about them) was taken down. Plus the arrest and conviction of the Curry Brothers and 6 of their top lieutenants in 87, Rick and Demetrius made the Eastside their personal kingdom. Joining forces with teenage drug supplier "White Boy Rick" and murder for hire Reggie Browns. Rick's operation took off allowing him to live and spend lavishly. To mask the proceeds of his drug operation, Rick invested millions in local businesses which served as drop off and pick up points for his runners. Everything was going smoothly until the day Carter and Edward Hanserd had a heated argument over a debt Edward owed to Carter. The two would face off numerous times with gunfire but on Sept. 12, 1989 outside of one of Rick's businesses Carter was shot in the stomach leaving Rick hospitalized and Rick left one of Edward's solider slightly wounded.
