Vanity Fare (due to the similarity of the novel and magazine title often misspelled Vanity Fair) are a UK pop/rock group formed in 1966, best remembered for its million-selling song, "Hitchin' a Ride", which became a worldwide hit in 1970.
School friends Trevor Brice (born 12 February 1945, Rochester, Kent, England) (vocals), Tony Goulden (born Anthony Goulden, 21 November 1942, Rochester) (guitar), Dick Allix (born Richard Allix, 3 May 1945, Gravesend, Kent) (drums) and Tony Jarrett (born Anthony Jarrett, 4 September 1943, in Rochester, Kent) (bass) formed the band in Kent in 1966, originally calling themselves The Avengers. They played local clubs and were spotted by entrepreneur Roger Easterby who became their manager and producer. Having changed the name of the band to Vanity Fare after the novel Vanity Fair by William Makepeace Thackeray, they signed to Larry Page's Page One Records. Vanity Fare achieved a UK hit single with their first release, a cover of "I Live For The Sun" (originally recorded by The Sunrays in 1965) in the summer of 1968. Following two more singles, "Summer Morning" and "Highway Of Dreams," both of which failed to make the UK Singles Chart, they released their biggest UK hit "Early in the Morning". Written by Mike Leander and Eddie Seago, it reached number 8 in that country in August 1969 and number 12 in the US in early 1970. It sold over one million copies, and was awarded a gold disc.
In the Morning is the title of:
"Early In The Morning" is the lost might-have-been second single, written and performed by soft-and-smooth-voiced pop singer Larry Santos that his record company Casablanca Records forgot to release on 7" vinyl, taken from both his 1975 album, Larry Santos (album) and the 1976 follow-up, You Are Everything I Need (album). This song is mainly all about Father God touching a newborn child with Christian love and inspiration on an early morning when he suffers from leprosy or disease and it is an early example of Christian music where it has Christian lyrics like "I long to touch You like the rising sun/Early in the morning, early in the morning/I want to feel Your warmness by My side" and "So come and lay by Me and stay by Me/Don't be afraid to open Your love and let Me in/I've needed One like You to love Me too/Early in the morning/Early in the morning", which is way before Contemporary Christian artists like Kathy Troccoli, Sheila Walsh (singer), Amy Grant, Twila Paris, Michael W. Smith and so on, plus it is now available only in the mp3 format on CD Baby. In this song, the biblical words, I, My and Me refer to Jesus, the Lord or God and also You, Your and One refer to holy newborn child.
The Morning (2006) is a studio album from Andrew Osenga. It is his second solo full-length studio album, following the short EP Souvenirs and Postcards (2004).

A sweet piece of British Bubblegum pop. I think this album contains the third iteration of Rod McKuen's version of "Seasons In The Sun", preceded by The Kingston Trio and The Fortunes versions. It also contains an early version of "Early In The Morning" by Mike Leander and Eddie Seago... which would become a hit song for Vanity Fare in 1970. Enjoy! 1. I Still Believe In Tomorrow 2. Bubblegum pop is a subgenre of pop music emerged during the mid-1960s. This was directed especially to the pre-teens and teenagers of those times, and the public in general. The purpose of Bubblegum music is to create a catchy tune on his head, that lasts for days. And I've met some songs that fulfill this role. Enjoy. 1. Stoned Soul Picnic- The 5th Dimension. 2. As the 21st century unfolds, so does the realisation that we have less time than ever to stand and stare. How can, and should, our society and economy best use its time? It’s to this question that Vanity Fair and UNLIMITED have turned their attention, presenting five individuals each thinking blue-sky about time, and what it means for them. In the third of the series, the model and philanthropist Natalia Vodianova explains how she has converted the time people spend adding “likes” to her social media posts into philanthropy on the go.
I remember you
And the things we used to do
Last season in the sun
I remember spring
And the song our hearts would sing
Last season in the sun
Summer morning summer morning I remember summer morning
Summer morning in the sun
Summer morning summer morning I remember summer morning
When our love had just begun
Now the winter's through
And I'm back again with you
This season in the sun
Now another year
Has gone by and we can fly
This season in the sun
Summer morning summer morning I remember summer morning
Summer morning in the sun
Summer morning summer morning I remember summer morning
When our love had just begun
Walking
Through the sunrise
With the mist upon your hair
Memories we share
We share
Summer morning summer morning I remember summer morning
Summer morning in the sun
Summer morning summer morning I remember summer morning
