Rome, Italian territory: On Saturday 150.000 people marched through the city for the Non Una di Meno national demonstration. The feminist march openly supported migrant, refugee and asylum seeker women in their struggle for rights, decent conditions and against the Salvini Decree.
The Italian minister of interior, Matteo Salvivi of the fascist Lega party tweeted that he did well “to block NGO ships”.

Italy, August 25: Some 150 refugees stuck on board the coast guard ship Diciotti in the Sicilian port of Catania have started a hunger strike. They are blocked from disembarking by the Italian government. They have been in the port for the last five days. The Italian government is demanding that other European nations take in the people aboard the vessel.
