CITV (short for Children's ITV) is a British television channel from ITV Digital Channels Ltd, a division of ITV plc. It broadcasts content from the CITV archive and acquisitions, every day from 6am to 6pm. CITV is also the title of a programming block on the ITV network at weekends.
Children's ITV launched on 3 January 1983, as a late afternoon programming block on the ITV network. It replaced the earlier Watch It! branding and introduced networked in-vision continuity links between programmes. These links were originally pre-recorded from a small London studio, up until 1987 when Central won the contract to produce live links from their Birmingham studios. In 2004, presentation of CITV was relocated to Granada Television in Manchester, which saw the demise of in-vision continuity. Nine years later, operations moved to MediaCityUK in Salford.
In 2006, CITV launched as a channel in its own right. The CITV channel averages around 100,000 viewers between 4pm-6pm every day. The CITV strand on the ITV network airs on weekend mornings from 6am to 9:25am, as part of the ITV Breakfast time slot.
Horrid Henry is a children's book series created by Francesca Simon and illustrated by Tony Ross. The first Horrid Henry book was written and published in 1994 by Orion Books and as of 2015, there have been twenty-four titles published, as well as many other collections, activity books and joke books. Novel Entertainment produced an animated television series for CITV.
The general story is a slice-of-life setup, featuring the main character Henry. Henry is a self-centred, naughty prankster who has issues with authority (similar to Bart Simpson) and will typically be faced with a problem and then will attempt to solve it, often in interesting ways that involves trickery, rule-breaking and elaborate practical jokes. Henry has a brother called Perfect Peter, who is generally the exact opposite to Henry, being kind, thoughtful, ambitious and respectful to authority. Henry bullies Peter on a daily basis.
The Horrid Henry stories are read on audiobook by the actress Miranda Richardson, and published by Orion Audio. The combined sales of all the Horrid Henry books and audiobooks now stands at over twenty million copies. Horrid Henry is published in twenty five languages around the world. In April 2009, the US Sourcebooks' Jabberwocky imprint released four Horrid Henry paperbacks nationwide which included "Horrid Henry," "Horrid Henry's Stinkbomb," "Horrid Henry and the Mega-Mean Time Machine," and "Horrid Henry Tricks the Tooth Fairy." Sourcebooks has since released eleven other Horrid Henry titles. They also have a page with free Activity Pages, Event Kits and a Teacher's Guide for US teachers (http://www.sourcebooks.com/spotlight/horrid-henry-books.html).
An animated series is a set of animated works with a common series title, usually related to one another. These episodes typically share the same main characters, some different secondary characters and a basic theme. Series can have either a finite number of episodes like a miniseries, a definite end, or be open-ended, without a predetermined number of episodes. They can be broadcast on television, shown in movie theatres, released direct-to-video or on the internet. Like animated films, animated series can be of a wide variety of genres and can also have different target audiences, from children to adults.
Animated television series are regularly presented and can appear as much as up to once a week or daily during a prescribed time slot. The time slot may very, including morning, like saturday-morning cartoons, prime time, like prime time cartoons, to late night, like late night anime. They may also be broadcast on weekdays (weekday cartoons) or only on weekends.
Mr. Bean is a British sitcom created by Rowan Atkinson and Richard Curtis, and starring Atkinson in the title role. Atkinson co-wrote all fifteen episodes with either Curtis, Robin Driscoll, or both, with Ben Elton co-writing the pilot. Thirteen of the episodes were broadcast on ITV, from the pilot on 1 January 1990, until "Goodnight Mr. Bean" on 31 October 1995. A clip show, "The Best Bits of Mr. Bean", was broadcast on 15 December 1995, and one episode, "Hair by Mr. Bean of London", was not broadcast until 2006 on Nickelodeon.
Based on a character originally developed by Atkinson while he was studying for his master's degree at Oxford University, the series follows the exploits of Mr. Bean, described by Atkinson as "a child in a grown man's body", in solving various problems presented by everyday tasks and often causing disruption in the process. Bean rarely speaks, and the largely physical humour of the series is derived from his interactions with other people and his unusual solutions to situations. The series was influenced by physical performers such as Jacques Tati and comic actors from silent films.

Play the halls
See the stalls tonight
Open roads the like
Across the dateline change will never strike
Australia lies ahead
Australia, we head for the mainland
Clutching our gifts from the East
Only to find out
Planes and the highways
STrain the paths and the by-ways
Remain, still it's leading me
Closer to you
Australia, we're leaving you behind
Australia, we're taking the easy way out
From now on
"Come to," can't get away from ya still
"Come to, we'll take good care of ya."
Australia, you save your face while fashions slip
Australia, you're balanaced between
The powers' tightening grip
I've been to, it's a long way for ya still
