On 23/8, mail censorship expired for anarchist comrades Alfredo Cospito, Nicola Gai, Danilo Cremonese, Valentina Speziale, Anna Beniamino, Alessandro Mercogliano, Marco Bisesti. Turin prosecutors can’t renew it but the prison can for ‘security reasons’.
Some of the letters were unblocked and are circulating more quickly. But we don’t exclude that letters might be blocked again.

Today 25/8/ the court of review decided over anarchist comrade Salvatore Vespertino, and the result will be known in a few days. In the meantime through his letters Salvatore asks for anarchist publications and tells us that hard cover books are not handed out.
As far as anarchist comrade Pierloreto Fallanca is concerned, we learn that he’s subjected to censorship, and that the investigating judge issued another order of remand in custody for criminal association, thus withdrawing the charge of participation in the 1^st January attack in Florence for which he had been originally arrested.

We have learned that on August 3d, 8 anarchist comrades have been arrested, because accused of throwing several molotovs against the barracks [of carabineri] in Rovezzano [suburb of Florence], an event which took place on 21 April 2016, and of placing an explosive device near the bookshop of Casa Pound [fascist association] in Florence on 1 January 2017.
We do not need to know who realized these actions. We do not want to flatten our solidarity on the recoverable fields of anti-fascism and repression, we are aware that the struggle for destruction of power and all authority also implies an attack against its closest collaborators.
The topics and the timing of legality are not our concern. Therefore, we express our unconditional support to Nicola, Sandro, Marina, Roberto, Micol, Giovanni, Paska and Ghespe.

Florence, April 21, 2016: someone attacked the carabinieri barracks in Rovezzano, the Florentine suburbs, with a molotov.
Florence, January 1, 2017 an explosive device placed outside the bookshop “Il Bargello” near Casa Pound explodes in the hands of a policeman who is severely injured.
Following these two anonymous attacks, on the morning of August 3, 2017, eight comrades are imprisoned.
The anarchists: Marina Porcu, Micol Marino, Pierloreto Fallanca (Pasca), Giovanni Ghezzi, Roberto Cropo, Salvatore Vespertino, Sandro Carovac, Nicola Almerigogna.

Riottosa Squat — Florence [Italy]: Eviction and arrests (03/08/2017) [en]

Update C.N.A.: The 8 arrested anarchist comrades in a new operation of Prosecutor’s Office of Florence, coordinated by police and carabinieri, are: Micol Marino, Giovanni Ghezzi, Salvatore Vespertino (Ghespe), Pierloreto Fallanca (Pasca), Roberto Cropo, Nicola Almerigogna, Marina Porcu, Sandro Carovac. Five of them are arrested for the bomb placed on 1^st of January 2017 in the bookstore “il bargello”, a place of “casa pound” Florence milieu [fascist organization]. That morning the bomb exploded in hand of an e.o.d. tech who lost his hand and an eye. They are accused for: attempted murder, aggravated damage, manufacturing and transport of explosive devices. The other three comrades are accused for attack with molotovs on the barracks of carabinieri in Ravezzano (suburb of Florence) in April 2016. Updates and addresses of prisons where the comrade are held will follow.

This Thursday morning, 3^th of August, started the eviction operation of squat Riottosa del Galluzzo [neighbourhood of Florence]; it seems that 8 comrades have been arrested, and the accuse is supposed to be very serious: attempted murder concerning the molotov threw by persons unknown against a barracks of Carabinieri. At the moment we don’t know anything more.

I feel to express, for what is worth, all the possible solidarity to evicted comrades and those held captive in police station, a hug and long live Anarchy!

Italy — Germany: A letter from anarchist prisoner Riccardo, arrested during the G20 (20/07/2017) [en]

We are spreading news of the arrest of a comrade from Genoa, Riccardo, on Friday 7^th July in Hamburg during the revolt against the G20.
Riccardo has seen his lawyers, is doing well and his spirits are high.
On18/07 a hearing confirmed that Riccardo and all those arrested be remanded in custody. In 15 days an appeal trial will be held to decide if imprisonment is to be continued until the trial. The charges haven’t been formulated yet.
We reconfirm our solidarity with all those arrested in Hamburg.

At the moment I am being detained in the prison of Billwerder in Hamburg. I was arrested on Friday 7^th July at 7:30pm near Rote Flora.
I am accused of insulting the State, endangering public security, of having played an active part in a group of fifteen people who challenged the police, in particular attempting to harm a policeman of the Special Unit of Bloomberg intent on carrying out arrests and finding evidence.
I don’t recognize the dichotomy ‘guilty-not guilty’ proposed by the State’s judicial apparatus.

Italy: Appeal for solidarity against the punitive isolation of anarchist prisoner Davide Delogu (07/2017) [en]

On July 18, a hearing was held at the Cagliari Court of Appeal for a complaint made by Davide against the conditions that he is being subjected to at the prison of Augusta.
Via the details of the complaint we learned that Davide, who is already subjected to the Article 41-bis prison regime, is undergoing a very extreme torture, he was ‘sentenced’ to six months of punitive isolation.
Complete isolation, in an underground cell, no TV or radio, no contact with other prisoners and without ever seeing the sun. In addition to this his correspondence is subject to censorship. The only people he ever sees are the guards and his lawyer.

Turin [Italy]: Inquiry “Scripta Manent” — All committed for trial! (17/07/2017) [en]

Yesterday, 17 July 2017, at the courthouse of Turin was held the last day of preliminary hearing concerning the inquiry “Scripta Manent”. The decision of judge for preliminary investigation came as no surprise: all suspected were committed for trial.
The trial, for all comrades accused of being part of Informal Anarchist Federation [F.A.I.] — International Revolutionary Front [F.R.I.], will start on November 16^th. For all, except for Giuseppe Lo Turco who asked for the abbreviated trial procedure.
An inquiry, the “Scripta Manent”, which inevitably recalls the “Marini” (1995) one. Only one cauldron of different inquiries, as “Ardire” (Perugia), “Shadow” (Perugia), “Moto” (L’Aquila), “Evoluzione” (Naples).

Italy: Update on Op. “Scripta Manent”, and few comments (03/07/2017) [en]

The preliminary hearing for the “Scripta Manent” investigation will be held on 11 and 17/18/19/20 of July. I would like to point out that from 3. June five other comrades of Croce Nera Anarchica, myself, the undersigned of RadioAzione, and the comrade who runs RadioAzione [Croatia] (at the hearing of June 26^th it has been decided that she will be tried separately, but still with the same charges), have been added to the comrades already arrested and under investigation.
Looking into the documents relating to the investigation, we have learned that the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Naples had opened in 2012 an investigation against me, against an old comrade accused also in the Marini inquiry, and other comrades from Lazio [Italian region] on the subject of Informal Anarchist Federation.
For five years we have been subjected to a total control, which has resulted in including other comrades in the investigation, including the Croatian comrade of RadioAzione.
Key-logger installed on computer, wiretapping, tailing even for 600 kilometers... Kind of “if I forgot where I put something, I can ask Agent Elena (the name they gave to the key-logger)”.
After five years of fictive control, on 10. January the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Naples demanded an arrest for me, the comrade of RadioAzione[Croatia] and two other Greek comrades (one of which is already imprisoned for C.C.F.).

Trentino [Italy]: TV, radio and mobile phone masts sabotaged (07/06/2017) [en]

Trentino — We learn from local media that on the night between 6^th and 7^th of June, several masts located on the mount Finonchio were set on fire. Radio and tv (Rai; national public broadcasting company) installation, mobile telephony providers (Telecom, Vodafone and Wind) and few transmitters used for the armed forces communications torched. The damage is considerable, they talk about more than one million euro, and the TV of State didn’t transmit in the entire area for several hours. On the site were found the tags “No more censorship against the comrades in AS2 [high security prison section]. With Fran and with the comrades of Aachen” and “Today we censure you (A)”.

FIRST OF MAY ATTACK FOR SELF-LIBERATION FROM THE PRISON OF BRUCOLI – AUGUSTA

The goal: To escape
The result: Escape unsuccessful (which isn’t a failure!)
The reason: The very strong bastard wind!
The project: To redeem myself, widening my subversive gaze of revenge and launch a campaign of acts of self-liberation.

Hunted in each tiny movement, with all the maniacal consequences of control that this implies in everyday life in prison where I spend 21 hours a day in a cell, I waited for the last search on 30^th May before acting, and I also made a fool of the jailers during their beating of the bars that day. I spend the hours in the exercise yard between theoretical and practical elaboration, which led me to devise a perfect escape plan, given that limits in the mechanism of control and its sophisticated complexity can be detected, faults that can be traced in all jails, revealing their hidden weaknesses.
In spite of the subjugation they would like to impose on the infallibility they build from totalitarianism and the perfectioning of the prison system, the fact is that there are always spaces for action. A space in the prison that I occupied and liberated from the moment the action began.

That day there was a strong wind and the choice of 1^st May had been dictated by a real tactical calculation, due to the significant shortage of staff following which the guard in charge of monitoring the cameras in the yard was also in charge of opening and closing the entrance to the yard.

Italy: Update on the 2^nd part of Op. “Scripta Manent” (06/06/2017) [en]

On 2 June 2017, the DIGOS [politica police], by order of the Turin Prosecutor’s Office puppet, Roberto M. Sparagna, has launched the notifications against me and against six other anarchist comrades of mine, concerning a new inquiry.
Shortly, it’s about the closing of investigations of a further inquiry parallel to the one named “Scripta Manent”, focusing its attentions on anarchist web-sites RadioAzione, Anarhija.info and Croce Nera Anarchica.

Regarding Croce Nera Anarchica, the paper journal is also targeted, its printing and its distribution, some of its particular texts, and who organized its presentations in Italy.
The charges are for everyone: 270bis (subversive association with purposes of terrorism) in conjunction with the anarchist comrades under investigation in the first part of the OP. Scripta Manent for the same things, and 414 of penal code (criminal solicitation, always with purposes of terrorism), clandestine press, translations of texts, preparation, incitement, defending of criminal acts, conception and spreading through the web-sites and journals of ideological “insurrectionist-armed struggle” propaganda, money rising to support the imprisoned comrades. Furthermore, two of us are charged under the article 280 (attack with purposes of terrorism) for the attack against the courthouse of Civitavecchia, on 12 January 2016 signed by “Pyrotechnical committee for an extraordinary year F.A.I.-F.R.I.”.
