Due to popular demand CERES Early Childhood Excursions are back! On offer is a range of activities suitable for 4 and 5 year old Kinder students. Each activity can be tailored to suit your learning outcomes, we can also combine activities. Each activity relates to the Early Years Learning Framework particular attention is paid to “Outcome 2: Children are connected with and contribute to their world.”
We run 1 hour and half day (2 hour) excursions for Kinders. Children will move through a variety of hands-on activities with suitable time for toilet breaks.
Activities can include:
- Farm to Fork
- CERES Discovery Tour
- Worms and Mini-beasts
- Animal Shelters and Habitat

On arrival your group is allocated a homebase for the duration of your visit. This homebase is situated close to toilets and provided bins for recycling and compost waste only. All other waste must be taken back with you. You are welcome to use the homebase afterwards for snack or lunch if needed. Please advise us if you wish to do so.
Parent helpers are most absolutely welcome to attend, preferably 1 parent to 3 children. We just ask that parents are more “helpers” rather than “chatters”, as this can be distracting for the children.
