This year our Year 5 P.Y.P. Unit of Inquiry for How the World Works was about energy. Each student looked into an individual energy source. We were asked to create a plan for an energy efficient house on our block of land, which we looked at on google maps, all to size and scale. The following was my plan and ideas for an energy efficient home.
