Greenpeace is a non-governmentalenvironmental organization with offices in over forty countries and with an international coordinating body in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Founded by Canadian environmental activists in 1971, Greenpeace states its goal is to "ensure the ability of the Earth to nurture life in all its diversity" and focuses its campaigning on worldwide issues such as climate change, deforestation, overfishing, commercial whaling, genetic engineering, and anti-nuclear issues. It uses direct action, lobbying, and research to achieve its goals. The global organization does not accept funding from governments, corporations, or political parties, relying on 2.9 million individual supporters and foundation grants. Greenpeace has a general consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council and is a founding member of the INGO Accountability Charter; an international non-governmental organization that intends to foster accountability and transparency of non-governmental organizations.
Ludovico Einaudi OMRI (Italian: [ludoˈviːko eiˈnaudi]; born 23 November 1955) is an Italian pianist and composer. He trained at the Conservatorio Verdi in Milan and under composer Luciano Berio in the early 1980s. Einaudi began his career as a classical composer, and soon began incorporating other styles and genres—including pop, rock, world music, and folk music.
Einaudi composed the scores for a number of films and trailers, including The Intouchables and I'm Still Here, the TV miniseries Doctor Zhivago, and Acquario in 1996, for which he won the Grolla d'oro for best soundtrack. He has also released a number of solo albums of piano and orchestra, notably I Giorni in 2001, Nightbook in 2009, and In a Time Lapse in 2013. Taranta Project, a collaborative album, was released in May 2015, and Elements was released in October 2015.
Einaudi was born in Turin, Italy. His father, Giulio Einaudi, was a publisher working with authors like Italo Calvino and Primo Levi, and his grandfather, Luigi Einaudi, was President of Italy between 1948 and 1955. His mother played the piano to him as a child. He started composing his own music as a teenager, first writing by playing a folk guitar.

Action carried out by activists from the Greenpeace ship Esperanza during their Indian Ocean tuna tour. Activists monitored and took direct action at sea against the controversial vessel Explorer II, thought to habitually use some 80 high-powered lights to aggregate fish in a potential breach of marine regulations. After initially asking the Explorer II to halt this practice Greenpeace took direct action and used pole-mounted paint spray-guns to black out the lights. The day following the Greenpeace action the Indian Ocean Tuna Commission ruled that use of these lights in fishing would be banned.

Amazing action at the Gazprom oil platform where, for the first time in history, shots were fired at the Greenpeace activists. You can see the bullets entering the water just beside one of the RIBs. Greenpeace is protesting at Shell and Gazprom oil rigs because both companies have proven to be unable to drill safely for oil in the pristine Arctic. Especially Gazprom has a very bad environmental record. We only have to wait for a spill which they cannot clean up and has the potential to destroy large parts of the "refrigirator of our planet". Although this drilling does provide jobs (honestly paid?) it will merely benefit the rich (senior management & shareholders). Greenpeace has proven [Energy (R)evolution] that changing our current addiction to burning fossil fuels into a move for clea...

Thirty years ago, French secret service blew up Greenpeace’s flagship Rainbow Warrior ship in Auckland, New Zealand, killing a Portuguese photographer, as the ship was preparing to head to sea to protest against French nuclear bomb tests in the South Pacific. Now the French intelligence agent who led the deadly attack has come forward for the first time to apologize for his actions, breaking his silence after 30 years. On July 10, 1985, Jean-Luc Kister led the dive team that planted the bombs on the Rainbow Warrior that sunk the ship and killed Greenpeace photographer Fernando Pereira. TV New Zealand’s program "Sunday" recently tracked down Jean-Luc Kister in northern France and spoke to him about what happened that day. We air the TVNZ report. Global Warming is on its way to be a two trillion dollar scam. Our politicians (NWO) goals are to have total power and control over all the people. These politicians are using powerful human motivators in climate change : Fear and Guilt. We fear our modern way of life will kill are children and grand children. We the people are being told, carbon dioxide is a toxic pollutant and must be curtailed. In fact without carbon dioxide above 150 parts per million, all plants would die. If these politicians succeed, food and energy will again be reserved for the rich and billions of humans will die of starvation or exposure.

HOW TO CHANGE THE WORLD, a documentary about Greenpeace is shared by director Jerry Rothwell. We talk about accessing the Greenpeace archives and video footage to tell the story of Greenpeace and how it changed from its inception up to today. We take a look at clips of the film from its premiere at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival, in this special BYOD interview hosted by Ondi Timoner. FILM INFO & GUEST BIO: Before it was the world’s largest activist organization, Greenpeace was the love child of an eclectic group of Vancouver neighbors (journalists, scientists, and hippies). United in their opposition to a U.S. atomic test on an Alaskan island, they sailed an aging fishing boat straight for the test site. Armed only with cameras and faith in the power of images, the rainbow warriors were...
Last year’s Kayaktivists protested Shell oil’s presence in the Puget Sound and took a firm stand for the environment. Many of these kayakers were Greenpeace members and, for 30-year Greenpeace veteran and captain Peter Willcox, events like this are simply business as usual. Willcox, who has spent his entire career working to save the planet, will share anecdotes from his long history, including the imprisonment of his crew the “Arctic 30.” He’ll prove that the life of a Greenpeace captain is anything but boring, from months at sea and his friendship with Pete Seeger, to fighting illegal smuggling and gun-trading. The Program also includes a short talk by Jill Stein, Green Party presidential candidate recorded at the recent Break Free civil disobedience action in Anacortes, WA courtesy of ...

Greenpeace leaped onto the world stage in 1971 when a small group of courageous women and men in Vancouver took a small boat up into Alaskan waters to stop nuclear testing. From then, a cult brand was born, one that continues to reinvent itself. What have recent campaign victories taught them about inspiring millions to take both small actions and giant leaps of faith? Executive Director, Joanna Kerr, reveals how the Greenpeace brand – both controversial and compelling – has brought about ordinary people-led victories from Beijing to Buenos Aires. Listen about celebrated campaigns that hold clues for business that’s good for people, profit and planet.

Dr Patrick Moore brings us his thoughts on the subject of climate Change at The Ninth International Conference on Climate Change in Las Vegas, USA, on the 8th July, 2014.
man 1:
I don't like the world I see
So I'll avert my gaze to the TV
I'm too cool to get involved
Someone else can change the channel for me
man 2:
Gonna suck the juices out of this world
Gonna treat her rough
It's all she deserves
She's so cold to me
Gonna rape this world
With my straight lines
Gonna straighten her out
Because nature is just history
There's a hole in my heart
Your so cruel to me
There's a hole in my heart
>From your industry
There's a hole in my heart
man 1:
It's no use to get involved
You'll never stop the world from turning
I just want to rest in peace
I can't stop the world from burning
man 2:
Gonna test my bombs wherever I want,
Gonna poon the whale
Gonna drain the swamp
It's money to me
Gonna fuck with genes
I am what I am
Much more than a God
Much less than a man of industry
There's a hole in my heart
Your so cruel to me
There's a hole in my heart
>From the industry
