The Universe is all of time and space and its contents. The Universe includes planets, stars, galaxies, the contents of intergalactic space, the smallest subatomic particles, and all matter and energy. The observable universe is about 28 billion parsecs (91 billion light-years) in diameter at the present time. The size of the whole Universe is not known and may be either finite or infinite. Observations and the development of physical theories have led to inferences about the composition and evolution of the Universe.
Miss Universe is an annual international beauty pageant that is run by the Miss Universe Organization. Along with its rival contests, Miss World and Miss Earth, this pageant is one of the most publicized beauty contests in the world. The pageant was founded in 1952 by the California clothing company Pacific Mills, and is owned, along with Miss USA, by WME/IMG.
In 1998, Miss Universe, Inc. changed its name to Miss Universe Organization, and moved its headquarters from Los Angeles to New York City.
In 1998, the logo of Miss Universe – "the woman with stars" – was created, representing the beauty and responsibility of women around the world. The same logo is used in present-day pageants.
In 2015, after Donald Trump made statements about immigrants from Mexico in his presidential campaign kickoff speech, NBC decided to end their business relationship and stated that they will no longer air the pageant, or the Miss USA pageant, on their networks. In September 2015, Trump bought the entire stock of the Miss Universe Organization from NBC, becoming its sole owner for three days until selling the entire stock to WME/IMG.

Miss Tiffany's Universe (Thai: มิสทิฟฟานี่ยูนิเวิร์ส) is a beauty contest with transgender contestants, held in mid-May, in Pattaya in the Kingdom of Thailand. It has taken place annually since 2004.
The Miss Tiffany’s Universe contest held once a year is receiving more attention especially since it is broadcast live on National Thai television with an average of 15 million viewers. Thailand use this pageant to promote Pattaya as a resort city and to improve Pattaya’s image abroad.
Tiffany’s Show also take part into charity events for the less fortunate within the local community and to support The Royal Sponsored AIDS Foundation; a charity program. The goal of this contest is to promote Pattaya as an international tourist destination and to show the beaches of Pattaya bay.

A black hole is a geometrically defined region of spacetime exhibiting such strong gravitational effects that nothing—including particles and electromagnetic radiation such as light—can escape from inside it. The theory of general relativity predicts that a sufficiently compact mass can deform spacetime to form a black hole. The boundary of the region from which no escape is possible is called the event horizon. Although crossing the event horizon has enormous effect on the fate of the object crossing it, it appears to have no locally detectable features. In many ways a black hole acts like an ideal black body, as it reflects no light. Moreover, quantum field theory in curved spacetime predicts that event horizons emit Hawking radiation, with the same spectrum as a black body of a temperature inversely proportional to its mass. This temperature is on the order of billionths of a kelvin for black holes of stellar mass, making it essentially impossible to observe.
Objects whose gravitational fields are too strong for light to escape were first considered in the 18th century by John Michell and Pierre-Simon Laplace. The first modern solution of general relativity that would characterize a black hole was found by Karl Schwarzschild in 1916, although its interpretation as a region of space from which nothing can escape was first published by David Finkelstein in 1958. Black holes were long considered a mathematical curiosity; it was during the 1960s that theoretical work showed they were a generic prediction of general relativity. The discovery of neutron stars sparked interest in gravitationally collapsed compact objects as a possible astrophysical reality.

The scientists have discovered a ‘supervoid’ in space, a peculiar empty section of space which is missing roughly 10,000 galaxies. This empty space, which is thought to be the largest known structure ever discovered in the universe, is baffling experts. Scientists are unclear about what this desolate space is. However, this isn’t the first mystery of outer space that has left those in the know scratching their heads. Where do galaxies come from? Astronomers haven’t yet settled the question on where stars and planet come from. It is believed galaxies started to form about the same time roughly 13 billion years ago. We know they aren’t just positioned randomly across the universe, but instead form clusters. The Big Bang theory says the universe expanded following a state of very high den...

Miss Jamaica Universe is a beauty pageant that selects the contestant to represent Jamaica at the Miss Universe beauty pageant. Although Jamaica started competing at the Miss Universe Pageant in 1961, the Miss Universe Jamaica pageant officially started in 1982 and was organised by Ed Wallace to select the official representative. This was won by Nancy Martin who was slated to compete at the Miss Universe pageant, but was unable to do so. The contest was again held from 1986 to 1988, and in 1989 Pulse was asked to host the Jamaica preliminary to Miss Universe. They went on to post an outstanding record, producing 4 top 10 finalists (Sandra Foster, Kimberley Mais, Nicole Haughton and Christine Straw) at the international Pageant.[1] The pageant was then promoted by Invyte Promotions (2010-...

If you spent your whole life never meeting another human being, you could be forgiven for thinking you were the only one to exist. Likewise, since mankind has never encountered any extraterrestrial forms of life, we have often come to the conclusion that we are in fact the only living things in the entire universe. To discern whether we are the first civilization in the universe we must first explore how the universe and life came to form in the first place. Our solar system formed when a fragment of molecular cloud mostly comprised of hydrogen started to collapse 4.6 billion years ago. Our Sun is known as a second generation star. "Universe: Beyond the Millennium" is a television series observing astronomical phenomena, research, and theories on the universe and its origins. Narrated by John Hurt. The documentary premiered in 1999 and presents an overview of the universe as humans understood it at that time, and how we think it will evolve in the next millennium. Using 3D computer generated graphics, the series features animated sequences that offer insight into the Big Bang theory and the anatomy of the sun. "Creation", for years scientists have speculated about the beginning of the universe. Some astronomers support the Big Bang theory while others purport the Steady State theory. Which one is correct? Telescopes that tune into natural heat radiation coming from space are helping scientists find answers to ...

This program gives viewers a tangible grasp of the enormity of the universe. Models and comparisons give a perspective on the relative sizes of the largest nearby stars, the scale of the solar system and just how fast the speed of light is.
The Universe as we know it is condemned to death. Space, matter and even time will one day cease to exist and there's nothing we can do about it. Harsh realities are revealed about the future of our Universe; it may collapse and burn or it might be gripped by a galactic ice age. Either of these scenarios might be a long way off. However, our Universe could suddenly be destroyed by a "random quantum fluctuation", a bubble of destruction that can obliterate the entire cosmos in the blink of an eye. No matter how it ends, life in our Universe is doomed.
Egde of Space, A Journey to the edge of the Universe. A National Geographic Documentary from 2008 in 720p [HD] This is a subject that I really enjoy to watch documentaries of, and I wanted to share this for educational purpose. I think its a extremely interesting subject that can really get your brain working. The Documentary is of a pretty good quality and I really hope that atleast some people will find this to be of great use to them. And that you might learn something new. The thumbnail photo used if the same that is used by National Geographic. Its a picture taken with the Hubble Space Telescope and its called: V838 Mon (Light Echo) so it is actually a magnificent real thing.
This is an important scientific discovery: Our universe literally blinks, off and on, at more than 1 trillion cycles every second (1.039 THz) - it is called the Lighthouse Frequency. The harmonics of this frequency can be used for Time travel, Travel at faster than light, Travel between parallel universes, and Instant radio communication to distant galaxies. For those unconvinced that our universe is blinking, please read "The First Periodic Table for Elementary Particles," or "New Standard Model for Elementary Particles," which provide compelling mathematical evidence. Both are available on this website for free. http://thehighersidechats.com/ -News, Podcast, Videos, Etc. https://twitter.com/HighersideChats
Excellent documentary, mind blowing and superbly narrated. Enjoy Narrated by Alec Baldwin.
UNIVERSE
I can move like the stars through the milky way
There is time and some space for a while to stay
Any sense to this play seems eternally
There’s a meaning I guess in this entropy
Universe alone will be there for you now
Now as love tears apart we remind the clue
Far beyond the blue skies I still think of you
Universe alone will be there for you now
