The United Nations Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF; /ˈjuːnᵻsɛf/ EW-ni-sef) is a United Nations program headquartered in New York City that provides long-term humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries. It is one of the members of the United Nations Development Group and its Executive Committee.
UNICEF was created by the United Nations General Assembly on December 11, 1946, to provide emergency food and healthcare to children in countries that had been devastated by World War II. Maurice Pate, American humanitarian and businessman, co-founded the United Nations Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) with Herbert Hoover in 1947. Pate served as its first executive director from 1947 until his death in 1965. In 1953, UNICEF became a permanent part of the United Nations System and its name was shortened from the original United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund but it has continued to be known by the popular acronym based on this previous title.
YouTube is a video-sharing website headquartered in San Bruno, California, United States. The service was created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005. In November 2006, it was bought by Google for US$1.65 billion. YouTube now operates as one of Google's subsidiaries. The site allows users to upload, view, rate, share and comment on videos, and it makes use of WebM, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, and Adobe Flash Video technology to display a wide variety of user-generated and corporate media video. Available content includes video clips, TV clips, music videos, movie trailers and other content such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos.
Most of the content on YouTube has been uploaded by individuals, but media corporations including CBS, the BBC, Vevo, Hulu, and other organizations offer some of their material via YouTube, as part of the YouTube partnership program. Unregistered users can watch videos, and registered users can upload videos to their channels. Videos considered to contain potentially offensive content are available only to registered users affirming themselves to be at least 18 years old.
Mystery meat navigation (also known as MMN) is a disparaging term coined in 1998 by Vincent Flanders, author and designer of the website Web Pages That Suck, to describe a web page where the destination of the link is not visible until the user points their cursor at it. Such interfaces lack a user-centered design, emphasizing aesthetic appearance, white space, and the concealment of relevant information over basic practicality and functionality.
The epithet "mystery meat" refers to the meat products often served in American public school cafeterias whose forms have been so thoroughly reprocessed that their exact types can no longer be identified by their appearances: like them, the methods of MMN are clear to the producer but baffling to the consumer.
Flanders originally and temporarily described the phenomenon as Saturnic navigation in reference to the Saturn Corporation, whose company website epitomized this phenomenon. Flanders writes, "The typical form of MMN is represented by menus composed of unrevealing icons that are replaced with explicative text only when the mouse cursor hovers over them".

This South Sudanese dad is making a refugee camp in Uganda feel like home. Idro fled the conflict in 2016 with his wife and three children. “Dad, I want us to go home.” His baby girl used to tell him. Even though she was very young, his children could sense the camp wasn’t home - so Idro built one for them. “I remember my dad used to be a rude one… So I do not want to do it the same way.” Idro explains. “I and their mother, we’re at least trying to give them the best we can give them.” The conditions may be bad but Idro sings and plays with his children, feeds them and protects them - he showers them with love and attention. Nutritious food, love, play and protection in the early years shape children’s brain development for life. This year, we’re celebrating all the super dads who make #E...
“I wouldn’t change being a mom for anything,” says Kristilee from Belize, where she lives and cares for her 4-year-old girl Zoe by herself. "Even if you have 5,000 things to do, they need to be first." Children's environments and experiences in the earliest years of life can shape their future health, well-being, happiness, ability to learn and even how much they earn as adults. We have one chance to get it right so the more we shower the little ones of our lives with love, good nutrition, and stimulating experiences, the better. “I have a lot of things in my heart and they are bad and good, but a lot of bad.” 11-year-old Dounia from Afghanistan had to escape the conflict with her family and their journey was harrowing. Smugglers in Turkey kept her family locked in the dark for 12 days. “Nobody can say something to them, if they [do] say, they kill them.” Dounia feared that the smugglers would just take their money without helping them. After two lost years, she now lives safely in Greece with her family, and she’s back at school learning Greek and English. “We want to be safe like Europe people. Why they are safe, why? Why we are not safe?” Dounia still wonders. If you believe #AChildIsAChild, share this video to stand with refugee and migrant children. We are calling for a six-point plan to keep refugee and mi...

SAFE!
Fight inside for blood an oil
Fight The War not asking why [what?]
Only pain who got the control
Army of hypocrisy
Crucified from regrets
The voice of emptiness
Living a fuckin life lost
Where death is the only price to pay
And there's NO ESCAPE from the lies
With fear in their eyes
Crucified from regrets
A voice for the emptiness
In the hands of violence
Haunted and mutilated
Inside your fight Crawling again
The name is none on the tombstone
Are dead but don't even know yet
Disperation that lives in them
They soon will be free
Yeah goddamn free from the faults
That were never been inflicted
Crucified from regrets
The voice of emptiness
In the hands of violence
They're haunted and mutilated
Your madness is endless
World wide war disorder
The times are so unsafe
No escape from the lies
With fear in their eyes
The times are so unsafe
Help them save their souls
Entrapped in the bullets
Killing millions of people
