WA's most recent Lotto millionaire yet to come forward

A mystery WA Lotto player is $1 million richer after scooping part of the division one prize overnight on Monday.

The punter, who purchased their ticket from Northampton News, north of Geraldton, will share the major prize with three other winners who also get a million each.

It comes after a 10-person syndicate in Collie won more than $1.6 million in Saturday's Superdraw.

Meanwhile, Tuesday night's $30 million OZ Lotto jackpot will be the second highest prize pool in WA in 2017.

Lotterywest spokeswoman Chloe Lawler said the newsagencies were expected to sell almost 300,000 tickets in the lead up to the draw.

"During our peak hour of sales Lotterywest retailers will be churning out over 300 tickets every minute," she said.

"We've experienced unprecedented Lotto luck across the last few months so it's no wonder players are getting behind this jackpot."
