"I'm Amazed" is a single by My Morning Jacket off their album Evil Urges, released in 2008. The song was #8 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Best Songs of 2008. It is also one of their most successful singles to date, having a higher peak on the adult album alternative chart. They performed this song along with "Evil Urges" on Saturday Night Live on May 10, 2008.
"Maybe I'm Amazed" is a song written by Paul McCartney that was first released on his 1970 album McCartney. McCartney dedicated the song to his wife, Linda, who had helped him get through the break-up of the Beatles.
Although the original recording has never been released as a single, a live performance by McCartney's later band Wings, from the live album Wings over America, was. This version became a top-ten hit in the United States and reached number 28 in the United Kingdom.
McCartney wrote the song in 1969, just before the Beatles' break-up. He credited his wife Linda with helping him get through the difficult time. Although most of his debut solo album was recorded at his home in London, McCartney recorded "Maybe I'm Amazed" entirely in EMI's Number Two studio in Abbey Road, on the same day as he recorded "Every Night". He played all the instruments: guitars, bass, piano, organ and drums. Although McCartney declined to release the song as a single in 1970, it nonetheless received a great deal of radio airplay worldwide, making it one of his most recognisable solo successes. A promotional film was made, comprising still photographs of McCartney, his wife Linda and stepdaughter Heather, which first aired in the UK on 19 April 1970 on ITV in its own slot, and as a part of an episode CBS Television's The Ed Sullivan Show.

Sir James Paul McCartney, MBE (born 18 June 1942) is an English singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and composer. With John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr, he gained worldwide fame as the bassist of the rock band the Beatles, one of the most popular and influential groups in the history of pop music; his songwriting partnership with Lennon is one of the most celebrated of the 20th century. After the band's break-up, he pursued a solo career and formed Wings with his first wife, Linda, and Denny Laine.
McCartney has been recognised as one of the most successful composers and performers of all time, with 60 gold discs and sales of over 100 million albums and 100 million singles of his work with the Beatles and as a solo artist. More than 2,200 artists have covered his Beatles song "Yesterday", more than any other copyrighted song in history. Wings' 1977 release "Mull of Kintyre" is one of the all-time best-selling singles in the UK. A two-time inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (as a member of the Beatles in 1988, and as a solo artist in 1999), and a 21-time Grammy Award winner (having won both individually and with the Beatles), McCartney has written, or co-written 32 songs that have reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and as of 2014 he has sold more than 15.5 million RIAA-certified units in the United States. McCartney, Lennon, Harrison and Starr received MBEs in 1965, and in 1997, McCartney was knighted for his services to music.

"Baby I" is a song recorded by American singer Ariana Grande for her debut studio album, Yours Truly (2013). It was written by Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Antonio Dixon and Patrick "J. Que" Smith and produced by the first two. The song was released by Republic Records on July 22, 2013, as the second single from the album.
In an interview with Complex, Grande reveals that "Baby I" was originally written by Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds for Beyoncé. Grande also stated that it was actually Mac Miller who picked "Baby I" to be the second single for her album.
Grande opined that "Baby I" was more "sophisticated" and "mature" and showed off her musicality and vocals more than her previous hit single "The Way", which was part of what made her excited to release the song. She was revealing snippets of the song days before its release. The single was released to the digital retailer iTunes on July 22, 2013.
"Baby I" is an uptempo pop and R&B song that runs for a duration of three minutes and seventeen seconds. "Baby I" is set in common time at a tempo of 102 BPM in the key of C♯ major, and D Major after the bridge. It was written and produced by Babyface, Tony Dixon and j.Que. A writer from Rap-Up describes the track as a "summertime record" which features Grande's "big vocals" over a "breezy beat". Several critics noted the '90s R&B music influence demonstrated in "Baby I", which will also be musically present on the rest of her album, Yours Truly. Additionally, '70s disco energy is also present in the song, with PopCrush describing it as "Mariah Carey gone retro".

Paul McCartney hears his famous song Maybe I'm Amazed performed as a duet between the Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl and the jazz and pop singer Norah Jones.
Really rather glorious, this. Rodlington Stewart with Ronnie Lane, Ronnie Wood, Ian McLagan and Kenney Jones tearing the arse out of Macca's 'Maybe I'm Amazed' in 1972. Marvellous as the original is, this really has something to it.

All right, here's one you may well know, you may not know it
and if you don't know it, I really don't know where you've been,
so you should know the tune. Here we go!
Maybe I'm amazed at the way you love me all the time
Maybe I'm afraid of the way I'll leave you
Baby, I'm amazed at the way you fool me all the time
You hung me on a line
Oh baby, I'm amazed at the way I really need you
Baby, I'm a man, oh baby, I'm a lonely man who's in the middle of something
That he doesn't really understand
Baby, I'm a man, oh baby, you're the only woman that could ever help me
Baby, won't you try to understand
Baby, I'm a man, oh baby, I'm a lonely man who's in the middle of something
That he does not really understand - good God, hoo
Baby, I'm a man, oh baby, you're the only one that could ever help me
Baby, won't you try to understand
Baby, I'm amazed at the way you're with me all the time
Baby, I'm afraid of the way I'll leave ya'
Baby, I'm amazed at the way you help me sing the song
You right me when I'm wrong
Baby I'm amazed at the way I really need ya'
Baby, I'm a man, oh baby, I'm a lonely man who's in the middle of something
That he does not really understand
Baby, I'm a man, oh baby, you're the only woman that could ever help me
Baby, won't you try to understand
There you go, heh
Baby I'm amazed, the way I really need you
Alright. Just about warming up and getting into it right about here.
