Tamir Muskat

Tamir Muskat (in Hebrew תמיר מוסקט) is an Israeli musician/producer-sound engineer who was born and raised in Petach Tikva, Israel as son of a Romanian immigrant. His father was the manager of Anzeagi Conservatorion for music in Petach Tikva. As a teenager, he was already a prominent rock drummer and percussionist. Early on, Tamir started producing Israel's first thrash metal records in his basement studio but also began working with Sephardic Eastern singers of Greek and Turkish origin in a highly ornamented style that is Middle Eastern in nature.

Tamir moved to the United States in 1995 and joined the band Izabo. In 1996, Tamir joined the internationally acclaimed band Firewater as a drummer and producer. With Firewater, he toured the world and made three albums, two of which he produced. Tamir founded Vibromonk Records with Dan Shatzky, which has become an important music production studio in New York City. Since then Tamir has produced albums with exceptional artists from around the world, and has helped create a unique musical palette. As a member of the instrumental trio Big Lazy, he released The Big Apple's Creme de la Crème, called "primeval, lurid, mournful, frantic, pretty, dissonant, stark, lush" by The Village Voice and "elegantly gritty stunningly beautiful music" by The New Yorker. Big Lazy has written music for various films, and toured with The White Stripes, John Spencer Blues Explosion, Reverent Horton Heat, Tom Tom Club and Firewater.

Tomer Yosef

Tomer Yosef (in Hebrew תומר יוסף) (born in Kfar Saba, Israel on 8 September 1975) is an Israeli singer and lead vocalist for the Israeli-American electronica-world fusion band Balkan Beat Box. The band founded by Tamir Muskat, Ori Kaplan included Tomer Yosef as a core member of the formation and its lead singer.

Yosef started his career as a stand-up comedian in 1994, appearing frequently on Israeli radio and television and played roles in a few Israeli television series, writing and directing the TV series Platfus himself. and appearing in 1998 in series הצל של החיוך שלך (Ha-Tzel, Shel Hachiuch Shelchah) and in the film ביקור התזמורת (in English, The Band's Visit)

He then moved to New York in 1998 working with Itamar Ziegler in Zion Train. In 2001, he participated in the TV show כוכבי השכונה (Kochvey Hashchuna meaning Pop in the Neighborhood) as a band drummer. In 2002 he cooperated with Tamir Muskat to produce his first album, תגידו משהו (meaning Say Something). He worked as an electronic artist, and written, composed, and produced with Muskat. In 2004 he started a DJ set and performed all over Israel, before joining Balkan Beat Box as a guest singer on their 2005 debut album also called Balkan Beat Box. He also continued as a main vocal performer in their live shows. Yosef released his second album צוחקים מתחת לאדמה (in English: Laughing Underground) in 2006 mostly influenced by reggae, dancehall and pop rock, and in 2009 his third album הטרמפולינה עם בן with Balkan Beat Box musician Ben Handler and השחר 35 in 2011.

Public relations

Public relations (PR) is the practice of managing the spread of information between an individual or an organization (such as a business, government agency, or a nonprofit organization) and the public. Public relations may include an organization or individual gaining exposure to their audiences using topics of public interest and news items that do not require direct payment. This differentiates it from advertising as a form of marketing communications. Public relations is the idea of creating coverage for clients for free, rather than marketing or advertising. An example of good public relations would be generating an article featuring a client, rather than paying for the client to be advertised next to the article. The aim of public relations is to inform the public, prospective customers, investors, partners, employees and other stakeholders and ultimately persuade them to maintain a certain view about the organization, its leadership, products, or political decisions. Public relations professionals typically work for PR and marketing firms, businesses and companies, government, government agencies and public officials as PIOs and nongovernmental organizations and nonprofit organizations. Jobs central to Public Relations include account coordinator, account executive, account supervisor and media relations manager. Those interested into public relations should have strong written and speaking abilities, be team focused and creative. A masters in strategic communication will enhance a marketing or communication BS or BA and make prospective employers more competitive in the job market.

Gilad Kahana

Gilad Kahana (Hebrew: גלעד כהנא‎, born September 1, 1970) is an Israeli singer, composer, writer, and lead singer for the band Girafot.

Career

Kahana was born in Mexico to an Israeli family. His family moved back to Israel when he was nine years old and settled in Tel Aviv. He started the musical band Girafot in 1992 with Yair Kass. In 1999, the band released its first Hebrew album named Conversations with a Chair. In 2000, Kahana decided on a solo career with the issue of his first solo album I Forgot How to Eat, which he produced and recorded on his own.

In 2002, Girafot toured Israel, which garnered them much popularity and recognition. In 2004, he published his first English solo album, called The Promised Landing, and also published the instrumental album 360. In 2006, he co-released an album called Roof with Girafot that won positive reviews and commercial success (Gold album).

In 2008, the band went on tour in India, and filmed a documentary. He was in Mumbai with Girafot during the 2008 Mumbai attacks and was able to capture the events on camera. The documentary film was published in 2009. He published a solo album that same year (The Walking Man (2bVIBES)) and the Girafot Hebrew album No Elephants Allowed in early 2010.

Online advertising

Online advertising, also called online marketing or Internet advertising or web advertising, is a form of marketing and advertising which uses the Internet to deliver promotional marketing messages to consumers. It includes email marketing, search engine marketing (SEM), social media marketing, many types of display advertising (including web banner advertising), and mobile advertising. Like other advertising media, online advertising frequently involves both a publisher, who integrates advertisements into its online content, and an advertiser, who provides the advertisements to be displayed on the publisher's content. Other potential participants include advertising agencies who help generate and place the ad copy, an ad server which technologically delivers the ad and tracks statistics, and advertising affiliates who do independent promotional work for the advertiser.

In 2011, Internet advertising revenues in the United States surpassed those of cable television and nearly exceeded those of broadcast television. In 2013, Internet advertising revenues in the United States totaled $42.8 billion, a 17% increase over the $36.57 billion in revenues in 2012. U.S. internet ad revenue hit a historic high of $20.1 billion for the first half of 2013, up 18% over the same period in 2012. Online advertising is widely used across virtually all industry sectors.
