Changi is a district located at the eastern end of Singapore. Sharing borders with Pasir Ris and Tampines to the west and Changi Bay to the east, Changi, excluding the two water catchments and islands of Singapore, is the largest district in the country by area.
Today, Changi is an aviation hub. Being home to both Changi Airport and Changi Air Base.
Also located within Changi is Singapore's largest prison, Changi Prison. It became infamous as a Japanese prisoner of war camp during the occupation of Singapore in World War II. Changi Prison continues to be Singapore's oldest operating internment facility, in the form of the new Changi Prison Complex.
The early Malay place name of Changi was Tanjong Rusa, which is found in the 1604 E.G. de Eredia map of Singapore.
The native place name Changi is found very early in Singapore's history. In the 1828 map by Franklin and Jackson, the extreme southeastern tip of the island is referred to as Tanjong Changi. The local name Changi must have been a significant point for the Malays, especially in the days of the sixteenth century Johor kingdom located on the Johor River. Vessels using the Johor Straits would have to pass by Changi.
Singapore Changi Airport (IATA: SIN, ICAO: WSSS), or simply Changi Airport, is the primary civilian airport for Singapore, and one of the largest transportation hubs in Southeast Asia. It is currently the World's Best Airport (Skytrax 2015), and is one of the world's busiest airports by international passenger traffic and cargo traffic. The airport is located in Changi, at the eastern end of Singapore, approximately 17.2 kilometres (10.7 mi) northeast from Marina Bay (downtown Singapore), on a 13-square-kilometre (5.0 sq mi) site. It is operated by Changi Airport Group and it is the home base of Singapore Airlines, Singapore Airlines Cargo, SilkAir, Scoot, Tigerair, Jetstar Asia Airways, Valuair and BOC Aviation, as well as a focus city of AirAsia.
Changi Airport serves more than 100 airlines flying to some 320 cities in about 80 countries and territories worldwide. Each week, about 6,800 flights land or depart from Changi, or about one every 90 seconds, with 55.4 million passengers passing through the airport in 2015.
Era Square (also known as Terminal 2) is a mixed development project located in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan in Malaysia. It was developed and is maintained by Era Baru Sdn Bhd.

The RM 50 mil Terminal 2 express bus station at Era Walk which was supposed to have started operations more than two years ago received a lifeline when Konsortium Transnasional Berhad (KTB) agreed to house its operations there.
KTB, the country’s largest private bus operator with a fleet of 1,500 vehicles, runs the Transnasional, Nice, Plusliner and Cityliner companies. At present, the company operates some 200 buses in Negri Sembilan.

https://www.expedia.com/Singapore.d180027.Destination-Travel-Guides Small and heavily populated, Singapore is an easy place to explore; nothing in the city is more than an hour from the business district. Thanks to modern construction and outstanding architecture, Singapore is rapidly becoming a powerhouse trade city, but it maintains ties to its Asian roots through traditional temples and many cultural hotspots, like Little India and Kampong Glam. Your Singapore tour must include the Botanical Gardens and Orchid Gardens, both beautiful and notable places to visit. If you’re a fan of exotic animals, stop by the Singapore Zoo and check in with its 300-plus species that take up residence there. You can also take a “bumboat” from Changi Beach to Pulau Ubin, set away from the bustling city,...
Finally, after two years leaving Asia, I was back. My first stop was Singapore. Despite being so close to Malaysia, the last time I was in Singapore was when I was a child. The impression of Singapore was just amazing. From the moment I arrived at Changi Airport (World's Best Airport 2013) to the moments I spent in the city, Singapore lived up to it's name and the experience was simply Your (My) Singapore. http://www.yoursingapore.com/ More in my blog: http://www.gracemoments.com/24-hours-in-singapore/ Watch the other episodes in the links below: Singapore: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fOA9F-Xiotk Seoul: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqmeN58sLM4 Melaka (Malacca): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmXWdI2p200 Kuala Lumpur: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=luwSC8fwJdw --- Places featured...
