Napa County is a county located north of San Pablo Bay in the northern portion of the U.S. state of California. As of the 2010 census, the population was 136,484. The county seat is the City of Napa. Napa County was one of the original counties of California, created in 1850 at the time of statehood. Parts of the county's territory were given to Lake County in 1861.
Napa County comprises the Napa, CA Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is also included in the San Jose-San Francisco-Oakland, CA Combined Statistical Area. It is one of four North Bay counties.
Napa County, once the producer of many different crops, is known today for its regional wine industry, rising to the first rank of wine regions with France by local wineries Stag's Leap Wine Cellars and Chateau Montelena winning the "Judgment of Paris" in 1976.
In prehistoric times, the valley was inhabited by the Patwin Native Americans, with possible habitation by Wappo tribes in the northwestern foothills. Most villages are thought to have been constructed near the floodplains of watercourses that drain the valley. Their food consisted of wild roots, acorns, small animals, earthworms, grasshoppers, and bread made from crushed California buckeye kernels. In winter they would construct huts made of tree branches. In summer they camped near rivers and streams. In winter months, they were half clad in wild animal skins and at other times they wore no clothing. The maximum prehistoric population is thought not to have exceeded 5000 persons.

NAPA may stand for:
A valley is a low area between hills, often with a river running through it.
In geology, a valley or dale is a depression that is longer than it is wide. The terms U-shaped and V-shaped are descriptive terms of geography to characterize the form of valleys. Most valleys belong to one of these two main types or a mixture of them, (at least) with respect to the cross section of the slopes or hillsides.
A valley in its broadest geographic sense is also known as a dale. A valley through which a river runs may also be referred to as a vale. A small, secluded, and often wooded valley is known as a dell or in Scotland as a glen. A wide, flat valley through which a river runs is known in Scotland as a strath. A mountain cove is a small valley, closed at one or both ends, in the central or southern Appalachian Mountains which sometimes results from the erosion of a geologic window. A small valley surrounded by mountains or ridges is sometimes known as a hollow. A deep, narrow valley is known as a cwm (also spelled combe or coombe). Similar geological structures, such as canyons, ravines, gorges, gullies, and kloofs, are not usually referred to as valleys. See also: "chine". A valley formed by erosion is called an erosional valley; a valley formed by geologic events such as drop faults or the rise of highlands is called a structural valley.

North America's legendary wine and food capital The Napa Valley is a collection of small towns and villages. The Napa Valley is a name derived from the language of the area's native Wappo Indians, and has come to mean "land of plenty." "Napa" has meant a place of natural abundance for centuries—our rivers full of fish, our forests, rolling hills, wildlife, climate, and fertile land for planting crops all combine to make The Napa Valley a place of singular beauty and productivity. The first written description of the land dates to 1823 and was penned by Padre Jose Altimura who estimated that several thousand Wappo Indians inhabited the area. Word quickly spread about the abundance and temperate climate of The Napa Valley and by the late 1840s the area was teeming with quicksilver mines ...

This video is something entirely different than we've ever done. This documentary shows you all the clips that were "deleted" from our regular dash cam compilations and why they were deleted. There is a lot of narration (more than usual) to explain why some dash cam captures don't quite make the cut, plenty of honking and in-car commentary to spice this up. This is a long video, so I have broken it down into relevant sections and below is a table of contents so that you can skip ahead within the video if you wish: 00:00 - Intro 00:56 - Misc clips 2:22 - Wide angle lens cut offs 4:59 - Distance from camera, over-exposed, off-camera incidents 9:26 - Aggravating annoyances 18:32 - Controversial clips 20:39 - Drivers out-of-lane, wrong side of the road 22:58 - More misc deleted clips 35:19 -...

In this vlog, I take you along with me on a longer hike, on a mission to find a bunch of beautiful waterfalls after all the flooding rain California has had. I go back to the same property in the hills of the Napa Valley, located in the Stag's Leap region. I attempt to film, while hiking and navigating extremely steep, slippery and rugged terrain. It was very difficult to do! I don't have a film crew to assist me, so please forgive the crudity of my filming. It was a wonderful day out. 60 degree temperatures and sunny, breezy weather. I hiked over fern-covered hills, mossy rocks and inside a creek. I absolutely love being out in nature, even if the hike was treacherous and risky, which it most certainly was. The risks I faced today were trips, slips and falls, rattlesnake bites, Mountain L...
The Beginning Of The End
( New Buffalo EP )
You got me thinking about the end.
Giving up making changes and starting again.
You with your eyes open when you're sleepwalking.
Check the time, it's the beginning of the end.
Tonight there's a race with an intangible prize
Bare feet on the lawn see the frill in your eyes
And we'll sing the winning song together again.
'Cause it's time for the begiinning of the end
Locked inside cabin fever, he's changed his tun
He's not singing the blues, he's seranading you
Take my hand, close your eyes
Let me lead you astray
'Cause tonight marks of the end of your terrible ways
And together we'll climb and stand on top
See the lights in the city
See your courage singing pretty
One more letter to send
Say "thank you friend"
