Plot: Goodbye My Friend is an extraordinary tale of human relationships. It is a saga of hope and despair, love and betrayal, hurt and redemption, dreams and disillusions. The story revolves around two friends, LEON and KIRAN. Both friends are from two different parts of the world. Kiran is from INDIA and LEON is from MEXICO now both living in USA. The story takes place in post 9/11 America but turns the pages of history, transcending the international boundaries. It allows us to see the glimpses of India, legacies of Mexico and the oozing sores of the Middle East. The story takes us on an emotional journey of Leon and Kiran's life. Leon and Kiran are very much like each other, but very different at the same time. Leon is a US marine and Kiran is a humanitarian working for the Red Cross. Plot: Raj Kumar has been married to his wife for several years. He comes from a middle-class family, while his wife comes from a wealthy family. He has struggled all his married life to provide all the comforts and conveniences to please his wife. The end result is that he does not have enough time to spend with her, and she is displeased. Raj has found a sympathizer in Hansa Paranjpe, who is married and living with a womanizing husband. Together these two have an affair. When a murder is committed, Raj is subpoened to appear in court and testify as to his whereabouts. Raj knows that if he testifies truthfully, their affair will come to light, and Hansa's name will be stigmatized forever. Jaswant's day starts when he wakes, and it could be early morning or late evening. Then one day one of his friends, Sansar, introduces a young man named Amal, a photographer by profession, and Jaswant hires him on the spot, with a generous salary and accommodations. Amal accompanies Jaswant everyone, including his frequent trips to assorted courtesans, and takes vivid photographs. Then Jaswant meets with an eligible young girl and marries her. A few years later she gives birth to a son, Naresh. Jaswant finds out that Amal has been taking an unusual interest in Naresh, including scolding him so that he can stop following Jaswant's footsteps. Jaswant warns Amal, only to find out that Amal has slapped Naresh. An enraged Jaswant fires Amal. Seventeen years later, India is free from British rule, Jaswant is widowed, Amal is being released from prison along with other freedom fighters, and Naresh is to get married soon. It is then Jaswant comes across a locket that once belonged to his wife. Jaswant opens the locket hoping to see his photograph, but is stunned when he sees another man photo in the locket. The question remains whose photo did Jaswant see, and why would his wife have another man's photograph in her personal locket?

Shanti, who lives a poor lifestyle, with her dad, Ramdas, the owner of a publication 'Praja Samachar', and her mom, travels to Delhi to have her eyes operated on. The operation takes place but she is still unable to see, and when they return home there is more bad news as Ramdas has been arrested for killing Dindayal's chauffeur, is found guilty, and sentenced to two years in prison. Questions that remain unanswered: Why did Ramdas commit this crime; will Shanti regain her sight; what impact will Ramdas' conviction have on Basantpur; and what will be the fate of Ramdas and his family after he completes his time in prison?

Plot: There is this little small-island kingdom located off the South China coast and the United States offers a pact of economic aid and military assistance if needed. But there is this Asiatic Communist nation/power---not identified but the name starts with 'C'--- that does not want this treaty to be signed, for whatever reason those Commie-nations have for doing whatever it is they are doing, and they have a plan going to thwart the treaty. Then the island King-inheritor, Sabu, playing a tic-tac-toe role name, comes home. Sabu does this at a large sacrifice, as he had to give up his promising career as a world-class prizefighter in the United States. But he has little choice as his brother, the prior King, had been murdered and if there was anything kingdoms were big on, it was keeping the royal crown in the hands of one family. Sabu, after accepting accolades from the citizens, snoops around and discovers that his cousin, who has reigned for a brief period between the murder of the previous family-member King and the return of Sabu, is the leader of the faction opposing the treaty. Well, right behind the rulers of "C", that is. But Sabu has a guy from Texas and another one from Brooklyn helping him, so that evens the odds in his favor.
