    Judging by the comments made in their various media appearances and today's debate in parliament, it's very clear the organisers are desperate for a martyrdom or two. Let's hope the govt has the good sense to not play into their hands. Then again, that may be asking for too much.

    Honestly, I hope this gvt has the common sense to let be the public nuisance that it’s threatening to be. Do not legitimize it by any use of police force. The people will judge it for what it is. Nothing like being stuck in traffic to do the trick.

    Also, why do we (me included) constantly use the term 'hate speech' as if it is a legal term? It is not found in the ICCPR, nor any piece of legislation. Perhaps we should be tighter in insisting that 'Incitement to violence' be the only thing that is prohibited by law 4/
