A young man killed when his monkey bike crashed into a fence, has been remembered as a "beautiful soul", as his family pleads for others to ride safely on the roads.
Ash Baker's family pleaded with other bike riders to wear helmets after the 20-year-old was killed on Kurunjang Drive in Melton, not far from his home about 4.30am on Saturday.

Shayden Baker paid tribute to his older brother on Facebook.

"This has got to be the worst morning and day of my life, waking up to hear that my older brother has passed away early hours of this morning," he wrote

"My big brother, I'd do anything to have you back I'll see you soon once I'm up there."
Others remembered Mr Baker as a caring and protective young man.
"With a heavy heart it's sad to say that a beautiful soul was taken from us today," a Facebook page set up in his memory says.
"Ash Baker was much loved and known by many he was an amazing son, brother and friend and in this sad time we are reaching out to every person that had the opportunity to meet one of the most caring, protective and kind hearted guy there could be on this earth."
Victoria Police spokeswoman Creina O'Grady said the crash happened when the rider left the road and struck a fence on Kurunjang Drive
"Police are investigating the circumstances," Ms O'Grady said.
Mr Baker died at the scene.
The accident brings the total number of lives lost on Victorian roads to 172, which is 30 fewer than at this time last year.
