In Racing Extinction, a team of artists and activists exposes the hidden world of extinction with never-before-seen images that will change the way we see the planet. Two worlds drive extinction across the globe, potentially resulting in the loss of half of all species. The international wildlife trade creates bogus markets at the expense of creatures that have survived on this planet for millions of years. And the other surrounds us, hiding in plain sight — a world that the oil and gas companies don’t want the rest of us to see. Using covert tactics and state-of-the-art technology, the Racing Extinction team exposes these two worlds in an inspiring affirmation to preserve life as we know it. Tell Congress to stand up against the exploitation of endangered species.
Endangered species are trafficked through the U.S. and China more than any other places in the world. From exotic pets to jewelry and clothing, our laws today allow trafficking which directly threatens some of the world’s most vulnerable species. It’s shocking, but it’s also an opportunity for change.
Tell Congress to stand up against the exploitation of endangered species and pass legislation stopping this trafficking once and for all.

Washington state passes initiative to ban endangered species trade.
Thanks to the wisdom, compassion and determination of Washington voters, state authorities now have stronger tools to crack down on the illegal trade in endangered animal parts, which will help us save some of Earth’s most iconic creatures.
But our work is not done. Because even as we were casting our ballots to pass I-1401, poachers in Africa continued to kill elephants to harvest their tusks, and illegal fishing crews slaughtered countless sharks just for their fins. So our fight for a more humane planet continues. I-1401 is a model that other states can follow.
Help us ensure other states follow Washington's lead. Join us to learn more.
The time is now for leaders to act – and for all of us to speak up.
Poaching, illegal animal trafficking and overconsumption are bringing precious species to the brink. The time is now for world leaders to act – and for all of us to speak up. Thank the President for stepping up to protect endangered species and ask him to finalize the Administration's proposed rule to stop the commercial ivory trade in the United States. Poachers have killed more than 100,000 elephants in the last three years and we are running out of time. Please act now and show your support.
