The New York Times provides digital group access to companies, hotels and other noneducational organization.

NYTimes.com Group Subscriptions: Group subscriptions provide digital access to individuals within an organization. The organization supplies the email addresses, names, and/or titles of the users who will be provided with access.

NYTimes.com and All Digital Access subscription options are available under the NYTimes.com Group Subscription program.

NYTimes.com Group Passes: Group passes provide digital access to a set number of individuals who are within an organization’s network. A group pass grants 24 hours of digital access to The New York Times from any location. Anyone within the organization’s network is able to activate a Group Pass – up to the number of daily Group Passes set by the organization.

All Digital Access subscription options are available under the NYTimes.com Group Passes program.

NYTimes.com Site Licenses: Site licenses provide digital access to all individuals who are within an organization’s network. A web-only NYTimes.com subscription option is available under the NYTimes.com Site License program.

How do I gain access through my organization’s NYTimes.com Group Subscription?

If you have questions about being added to your organization’s group subscription, please contact your organization’s group subscription administrator. After you are added as an authorized user, you will receive a welcome email with instructions on how to register for access.

I have digital access to NYTimes content through a group subscription. What do I get?

All Digital Access:

  • NYTimes.com from any computer or device
  • Unlimited articles, videos, newsletters, events, and more from any device.

Note: NYTimes apps are not supported on all devices. Group subscriptions do not include e-reader editions, Premium Crosswords or The New York Times Crosswords apps. All Digital Access group subscriptions do not include shared all digital access. Additional restrictions may apply.

I am the administrator for my organization’s NYTimes.com Group Subscription — how do I access my account?

You can administer your account from the Access Management Tool, available at www.nytimes.com/groupadmin. You can also navigate to the Access Management Tool from the My Account area. Please note, the Access Management Tool is only available to the administrator of an organization’s group subscription.

I received a welcome email to register for access through a group subscription — what do I do?

To begin enjoying digital access, you must log in to your NYTimes.com account, as outlined in the welcome email.

If you do not have a password, click here to set your NYTimes.com password. You must enter the email address the welcome message was sent to.

After logging in or setting up your password, you will receive unlimited access to NYTimes.com, in addition to certain apps.

I was added as an authorized user but I never received a welcome email — what do I do?

You need to verify that you were added to the group subscription. Contact the administrator of your organization’s group subscription. 

I am an authorized user of my organization’s group subscription. How do I get help if I have issues with my access?

First, contact your organization’s administrator to determine whether you have been properly added to the group subscription. If so, please contact New York Times Customer Care at 800-591-9233 or email us at groupsubs@nytimes.com.

Are there any group subscription discounts?

Yes. We offer volume discounts based on the number of authorized users and the digital subscription package. Visit nytimesgroupsubscriptions.com or contact groupsubs@nytimes.com for more information.

What are the minimum and maximum number of seats I can purchase in a group subscription?

The minimum number of seats an organization may purchase in a group subscription is 5. There is no maximum number of seats.

How are group subscriptions billed?

Group subscriptions are billed annually, and invoices are mailed to the organization before or soon after the group subscription access begins.

How do I purchase an NYTimes.com Group Subscription?
