Plot: Sargeants Tanby and Proter are the sole (human) crew members of U.S.A. Space Science Fleet scout ship Earth Mother-9. With their A.I. computer 'I.Q.', they roam the lonely universe doing 'science' on barren planets. Now, after more then a century away from Earth, Sargent Tanby is starting to go stir crazy. He has made numerous requests for directions home, but the U.S.A. SSF can't afford to take a break from their science race against The New U.S.S.R. As well, Tanby has been having memory problems, ever since the incident on planet Cargon-7. Now he is plagued by nightmares, but everyone knows you can't dream in space. Are I.Q. and Proter not telling Tanby something about the accident, or has he finally succumbed to space madness?

Plot: On the night of a big fashion show, world-famous French designer Yves Malmaison is poisoned. The same night, his murderers are trying to kill Chilly D, a member of the popular rap group, The Funky Four.
