DEPO PROVERA - Totally Useless LP 89 w Liquid Personality 7 89

REPOST and ADD ON: Green Bay Hardcore at its finest!  The album, 'Totally Useless' is a hands down all time classic in hardcore...I used to spend much of my time growing up listening to this record in my room while I cooled down my temper.  I just found the 7 inch and it really sounds different like maybe a new singer but is still good in it's lyric's.  Finally found covers for the LP!

REPOST Request:  Thanks to Mark for the original post--here is what he said:  Here's a tape I got on one of my trips to Bimini,Bahamas.Located about 60 miles off my coast,it was an easy journey by boat.There is nothing to do there but fish & booze up.The place to go back in those days was the Compleat Angler Hotel,that's where I saw this band.This tape brings back memories of the hot sun burning a hole in my back as I sweat myself silly pulling in fish & the burned out nights drinking gin until we could barly drag ourselves back to the boat & then do it all over again the next day.Enjoy

I got this one not labeled as Traffic but by its members for a dollar, then I had the tape of the two albums from my buddy in high school who had tones of sixties records with his older brother who played in the Gooney Birds from a couple weeks ago.  He got me into Traffic, Prof. Longhair, James Brown, National Lampoon, Car Wash, Kentucky Fried Movie and other comedies.  I always knew from that small offering of his that Traffic was in another higher regard like Donovan.

REPOST Request:  First I need to apologize as these records are on the bottom of my four plastic bins of 'keeper' records (along with my prized Stiff Little Fingers vinyl I still need to do) and I still have not remastered my early rips from the early days of the blog when I was teaching myself how to rip vinyl so quality is 'iffy' (actually the WAV files sounded good).  I guess I have just been focusing on their release this year 2017 which I have included the order link at CD Baby and Pal's website if you are interested.  The CD rip of all their old stuff I got from another blog is hit or miss as the first self-titled album is at a medium bit rate MP3 (256) while the whole 'Homelife' CD is only 128 low bit rate.  So this is a post I will have to redo in time after I take all the cassettes piled high around the top bin OFF!...LOL  I think it's pretty cool that Pal is married to Jules from Jules and the Polar Bears who is also still recording good music.

REPOST Request:  I first heard of these ravers from the Beastie Boy King Ad Rock's movie, "Lost Angels" as they were the house band playing in the movie.  Then my buddy got the Hallelujah tape and we were blown away as this was an all new kind of music to my virgin ears and so I bought the greatest hits CD.  Then had to see them whenever they toured through town at First Avenue club.  They are still grooving and even posted on their facebook a kid in a wheelchair with cancer (chemo radiation treatments had put him there) who used CBD oil (which is only from fresh squeezed cannabis) to cure his cancer 100% and is walking again...so yes, they are still community champions out there in England.  3 Cheers!
