Internships

Internships at News Corp Australia are generally for a placement of 4-6 weeks and are unpaid.

To be eligible for an internship, it must be a course requirement of your education institute for you to gain practical experience in the workplace. Interns must also be above the minimum working age in the relevant State or Territory in which the placement is to be undertaken.

If you wish to be considered for an internship, please submit your CV and a cover letter to PeopleConnect@news.com.au. The cover letter must contain the following information:

• Current qualification you are studying for and stage of completion
• Your educational institution
• Your area of interest (e.g. journalism, marketing)
• The start and end dates for the work experience or internship

You will be contacted within two weeks of your application being received if you are successful. If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must provide consent. Also your educational institution will need to provide evidence of current personal accident and liability insurance cover.
