    The RBA has over-estimated growth while not expecting any near term improvement in the unemployment rate nor having inflation anywhere near target, all while basing its forecasts on 50bp of further easing - its delay on this further easing has become puzzling

    Aus GDP for 2Q2019 grew 0.5%qoq/1.4%yoy, in-line with economist expectations. These data are lower than the growth forecasts of 0.75%qoq/1.7%yoy, putting more pressure on the RBA to ease further.

    It's very telling, isn't it? The raid literally happened at exactly the same time as the Treasurer was delivering the worst economic news in 20 years. The picture speaks 1000 words about the distraction tactics of the govt. 🐝
