The Wire is an American crime drama television series set and produced in and around Baltimore, Maryland. Created and primarily written by author and former police reporter David Simon, the series was broadcast by the cable network HBO in the United States. The Wire premiered on June 2, 2002, and ended on March 9, 2008, comprising 60 episodes over five seasons.
Each season of The Wire introduces a different institution in the city of Baltimore and its relationship to law enforcement, while retaining characters and advancing storylines from previous seasons. In chronological order these institutions are: the illegal drug trade, the seaport system, the city government and bureaucracy, the school system, and the print news media. The large cast consists mainly of character actors who are little known for their other roles, as well as numerous real-life Baltimore and Maryland figures in guest and recurring roles. Simon has said that despite its framing as a crime drama, the show is "really about the American city, and about how we live together. It's about how institutions have an effect on individuals. Whether one is a cop, a longshoreman, a drug dealer, a politician, a judge or a lawyer, all are ultimately compromised and must contend with whatever institution to which they are committed."

Genres: Reality-TV,kind of an old song but i really love the neighbourhood. if you have any requests for a video, leave them in the comments - We talked about making it. I'm sorry that you never made it. And it pains me just to hear you have to say it. You knew the game and played it, it kills to know that you have been defeated, I see the wires pulling while you're breathing. You knew you had a reason, It killed you like diseases, I can hear it in your voice while you're speaking... you can't be treated. Mr. Know-It-All, had his reign and his fall, At least that is what his brain is telling all If he said help me kill the president, I'd say he needs medicine, Sick of screaming let us in, The wires got the best of him. All that he invested in, goes Straight to hell, Straight to hell. (oh, oh) Straight to ...
Official video for Athlete. Directed by David Chaudoir In case you are in any doubt what this song is about read this: And speaking to London's alternative radio station, Xfm, the band revealed that the track was written about the near death of singer and guitarist Joel Pott’s newborn daughter late last year. Explains keyboardist, Tim Wanstall: "Wires is about a harrowing experience that Joel had when his daughter was born. Basically, she had a seizure just after he’d gone home, and the song came out around that time, as he was trying to work it all through."

WIRES
we live our lives
through the wires
we touch
through the wires
we make love
through the wires
i hate you
through the wires
when i am out of reach
why dont you channel it
and when you need a friend
call me up get in touch
when we are both alone
on our ends of the wires
c'mon now
lets have a liason
through the wires
we live our lives
through the wires
we touch
through the wires
we make love
through the wires
I hate you | through the wires
you dont have to pretend
the screen is your only friend
in a world without love
switch it OFF
switch it oN
switch on
turn on
switch off
