Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (IATA: DCA, ICAO: KDCA, FAA LID: DCA) is an international airport 3 miles (5 km) south of downtown Washington, D.C., in Arlington County, Virginia, United States. It is the nearest commercial airport to the capital and serves the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area. For decades it was called Washington National Airport; it was renamed in 1998 to honor President Ronald Reagan. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) operates the airport with close oversight by the federal government due to its proximity to the national capital.
Reagan National is a hub for American Airlines, which is Reagan National's largest carrier. American Airlines also has near-hourly air shuttle flights to New York LaGuardia Airport and Logan International Airport in Boston. Delta Air Lines also operates near-hourly air shuttle flights to New York LaGuardia Airport, which are all operated by Delta Shuttle.
Other than the current 40 slot exemptions, flights into and out of the airport are not allowed to exceed 1,250 statute miles (2,000 km) in any direction nonstop, in an effort to send air traffic to the larger but more distant Washington Dulles International Airport. In the 12 months ending March 2015, the airport served 21,195,775 passengers.

Carnival of the Animals by Bjørn Okholm Skaarup is on display at Washington National Cathedral from Sept 22nd through November 27th. An exhibit of 8 bronze works displayed outside the Cathedral, adjacent to the west front. Inspired by Camille Saint-Saens “Carnival of the Animals”, artist Bjørn Skaarup crafted these pieces to exude a cheerful wit and whimsy that underscore the lighter side of human association with the animal kingdom. The animals represent human allegories based on their physical and spiritual traits, drawing on art history and poetry. The use of animals and especially the sense of whimsy both resonate strongly with existing imagery found both in the Cathedral’s fabric and in the longstanding traditions of cathedral imagery. Bjørn Skaarup served as artist in residence at ...

So a lot of people have been asking where is the TNC lot at Reagan National Airport. Hopefully this helps as I guide you thru two ways you can approach the lot. I start off with a drive coming from route 1 northbound to the airport. After that I circle around as if I'm coming from the GW Parkway. Either way head towards the parking garages for terminals ABC. The entrance is on the right for the For hire lot .
I have been working through my archives and finding older video that I had in storage. Here is a condensed arrival and downwind with the approach in real time from the bridge into the airport and touchdown. Click to subscribe! http://bit.ly/subAIRBOYD The most viewed aviation channel on YouTube.

Passengers on the day's 75th arriving flight received a special welcome to Washington, D.C. Also, a restored American DC-3 aircraft, the same type that first landed at the airport in 1941, returned for the celebration.
