“A common overbooking problem on a United Airlines flight on Sunday ended with a man being bloodied and dragged from his seat and an already troubled airline earning more bad press. How did it all go so wrong?
Overbooking on flights happens all the time. Empty seats cost airlines money, so they offset the number of passengers who miss flights by selling too many tickets.
In this case, the problem arose because United decided at the last minute to fly four members of staff to a connection point and needed to bump four passengers to make way for them.
When there's an overbooking issue the first step is to offer an inducement to the passengers to take a later flight. On Sunday passengers were offered $400 (£322), a hotel room for the night, and a flight the following afternoon.
When no one took the offer, the amount was upped to $800. Still no one bit, so a manager boarded the flight and informed passengers that four people would be selected to leave the flight.
That selection is based on several factors, but frequent fliers and higher fare-paying passengers are given priority to stay aboard, a spokeswoman for United confirmed.”

Flying first class is always an extra luxury that people with money can enjoy in their air travel. You can’t beat first class with the wider seats, the beverages, better food, and service that makes you feel like you’re royalty. If you’re flying across the country, then first class is definitely more comfortable, and you rarely have to deal with the tiny seats and being forced to be in closed quarters with complete strangers. But there are airlines who have taken the concept of first class and bumped it up a notched. Here are some of the most luxurious first class sections in the airline industry. The cost? Well, let’s just say you’ll probably have to save your salary for the next several years to be able to afford it.
For $13,000 you can be a premiere passenger on an Air France flight, which includes a space where you can store all of your valuables, along with a bed, a reading lamp, and curtains so you can have some privacy. Quantas Airlines has a set up similar to that and puts it on steroids. If you’ve ever wanted to have the feeling like you’re on your very own jet, Quantas is the way to go with your own privacy pod that comes with its own suite, as well as a common area for wealthy passengers to get together and mingle. This can be all yours for $13,500.
Ever wanted to know what it’s like to be tucked into bed by a flight attendant? Well, Singapore Airlines does just that. You’re immediately given pajamas that are designed by Givenchy, and toiletries by Ferragamo. Your seat can also be transformed into a fluffy bed, where the flight attendants will see to it that you’re tucked in and comfy. Tickets for this experience starts at $15,000.
For $25,000, you can have the ultimate first class experience with Cathay Pacific Airlines, where you can have your own pod. This includes a chair that silently transforms into a full length bed. The pod is also adorned with a vase with orchids, so you feel a bit more at home and close to nature. Lufthansa has taken the first class game and improved it. Not only do you get a big comfy chair, but you get a bed as well. The chair is pumped with gadgets as well for your enjoyment. You don’t even have to worry about breathing dry air, as the cabin is pumped with a humidifier. Tickets for this experience starts at $27,000.
Finally, these last two airlines are basically like flying hotel rooms. Emirates Airlines offers a private cabin with a mini bar, adjustable lighting, as well as a full shower with a marble sink. So if you really need to freshen up, it’s a lot better than the tiny bathroom in coach. They even have a communal lounge where you can enjoy drinks and hors d’ouerves. All of this can be yours for $30,000. Finally, we have Etihad Airways, who have diamond first class suites with three room cabins. These cabins also include a full size bathroom with a luxurious shower. You can even have your own butler! What’s the cost? $43,000.

8- WOW Airline – A plane owned and operated by the Icelandic airline WOW has unveiled a huge pink plane called “GAY.” Named in February 2016, the plane serves a route to San Francisco and the name is a nod to the gay movement there. The company is known for its unique naming system and has other planes named such things as MOM, DAD, SIS, BRO, and KID. When asked if he worried that people may not want to fly around in a pink plane named GAY, the CEO explained “If I were worried or scared of what people might say about me or what I do, then WOW air wouldn't exist."
7- Free Massages – Air Malta definitely knows what passengers want – and gives it to them! Air Malta provides two professional therapists to help ease tension and the stress of flying with hand, feet and neck massages. The passengers just sit back, relax and enjoy relaxing music through head phones, while the massage therapists get to work. The massages are offered on flights between Gatwick and Malta and the airline says it’s just the beginning of services that will be offered to “enhance the customer’s experience.”
6- Hooters Air – We’re going to assume most passengers just flew this airline for wings, right? Though this airline is now out of business, the popular restaurant chain did try its hand at flight in 2003. Each flight on Hooters Air came fully equipped with two Hooters girls and flight attendants that entertained passengers with trivia games, sold Hooters merchandise, and assisted with beverage service. The inside and outside of the aircrafts also had a Hooters flair. Keeping with the chains traditional colors passengers had large blue leather seats to sit on, and it wasn’t hard to miss the blue and orange aircrafts with the Hooter’s owl on the tail. The airline eventually folded in 2006.
5- Cuddle Class – Airplane seats that can convert to couches or beds – sign us up! Air New Zealand started offering its passengers this perk in 2011. They call the seats “Skycouches” and they allow people to kick their feet up and relax with their loved ones. The Skycouch is a row of economy seats that can be turned into the couch for passengers to stretch out or to have a place for antsy children to spread out and play.
4- Virtual Reality Flight – This is definitely the coolest flight on our list. The Australian airline Qantas teamed up with Samsung in 2015 to begin offering passengers a virtual reality experience like no other on long flights. The virtual reality gear was available for first class passengers on flights in Sydney and Melbourne, and some flights from Australia to Los Angeles. The virtual reality equipment is produced with Oculus and operated using Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Qantas uses the experience to show off the airline’s destinations and services to passengers.
3- Art Gallery – If you’re a fan of art, you’ll love the Virgin Atlantic Upper-class flights between London and New York. The airline unveiled its first in-flight commercial art gallery in February 2013. Appropriately called the Gallery in the Air, the exhibit featured many typography-style works by Ben Eine. Prices for the pieces range between £2,500 to £15,000. This artists’ claim to fame is when David Cameron gave one of his pieces to President Obama as a gift during his first state visit to Washington. Passengers on board would take a virtual tour of the exhibit and could purchase pieces the same way you would purchase duty-free items.
2- Uber – Following the Uber trend, United Airlines got smart and started offering passengers the option of ordering up a ride through their mobile app. Allowing passengers to bypass the long airport taxi lines and hop right into a waiting vehicle, the app offers information such as types of vehicles available, estimated wait times and prices. Once the passenger has signed up for a ride on the United Airlines app, they are then directed to the Uber app to complete the transaction. Customers new to Uber were even rewarded with Mileage Plus award miles to promote the service.
1- Full VIP Service – The airline La Compagnie flies passengers from New York to Paris in style. The seats are massage chairs and recline back into beds. The food served on board is not your typical airplane food, the menu Michelin star worthy. And as if those perks weren’t enough, the airline provides Samsung entertainment tablets to each passengers. It’s hard not to feel like a VIP on board this flight. The only hitch, you’d better be a VIP to be able to afford this one-way transatlantic flight. The standard cost when the flight was launched was £1200 euro – or $1400.

History
The first airlines
DELAG, Deutsche Luftschiffahrts-Aktiengesellschaft was the world's first airline. It was founded on November 16, 1909 with government assistance, and operated airships manufactured by The Zeppelin Corporation. Its headquarters were in Frankfurt. The first fixed wing scheduled air service was started on January 1, 1914 from St. Petersburg, Florida to Tampa, Florida. The four oldest non-dirigible airlines that still exist are Netherlands' KLM, Colombia's Avianca, Australia's Qantas, Polish AeroTarg, and the Czech Republic's Czech Airlines. KLM first flew in May 1920, while Qantas (which stands for Queensland and Northern Territory Aerial Services Limited) was founded in Queensland, Australia, in late 1920.

Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA; SGX: C6L) is the flag carrier of Singapore with its hub at Changi Airport.

British Airways
British Airways, often shortened to BA, is the flag carrier airline of the United Kingdom and the largest airline in the United Kingdom based on fleet size. When measured by passengers carried, it is second-largest in United Kingdom (behind easyJet). The airline is based in Waterside near its main hub at London Heathrow Airport.
A British Airways Board was established by the United Kingdom government in 1972 to manage the two nationalized airline corporations, British Overseas Airways Corporation and British European Airways, and two smaller, regional airlines, Cambrian Airways, from Cardiff, and Northeast Airlines, from Newcastle upon Tyne. On 31 March 1974, all four companies were merged to form British Airways. After almost 13 years as a state company, British Airways was privatised in February 1987 as part of a wider privatisation plan by the Conservative government. Ana Kasparian
Anahit Misak Kasparian (Armenian: Անահիտ Միսաք Գասպարեան, pronounced [ɑnɑˈhid miˈsɑkʰ kʰɑsbɑˈɾjɑn]; born July 7 1986) is an American political pundit and the co-host and producer for the online news show The Young Turks. Kasparian began working as a fill-in producer for The Young Turks in 2007, and is now co-host of the main show and host of The Point on the TYT Network. She also appeared on the TV version of the show that aired on Current TV.
Biography
Born in Los Angeles, California, Kasparian is the daughter of Armenian immigrant parents and was raised in the Reseda community of the San Fernando Valley. Kasparian graduated from Valley Alternative Magnet High School of Van Nuys in 2004 and California State University, Northridge (CSUN) in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts, Journalism (BAJ).
Kasparian was an assistant producer with CBS Radio news stations in Los Angeles, first with KFWB and then KNX. She has also worked with AOL News, YouTube, TidalTv and On Point. After becoming a fill-in host in April 2007, Kasparian became the producer and co-host with Cenk Uygur of the progressive talk radio on Sirius XM Satellite Radio and internet show/TV show The Young Turks. Kasparian says that young people are interested in news, but "they see network anchors as simply folks who read tele-prompters." She co-hosted TYT University, a show focused on issues faced by university students for some years, and now hosts another TYT Network show, The Point. Kasparian is an agnostic atheist.

How did it all go so wrong? Overbooking on flights happens all the time. Empty seats cost airlines money, so they offset the number of passengers who miss flights by selling too many tickets. In this case, the problem arose because United decided at the last minute to fly four members of staff to a connection point and needed to bump four passengers to make way for them. When there's an overbooking issue the first step is to offer an inducement to the passengers to take a later flight. On Sunday passengers were offered $400 (£322), a hotel room for the night, and a flight the following afternoon. When no one took the offer, the amount was upped to $800. Still no one bit, so a manager boarded the flight and informed passengers that four people would be selected to leave the flight. If you’ve ever wanted to have the feeling like you’re on your very own jet, Quantas is the way to go with your own privacy pod that comes with its own suite, as well as a common area for wealthy passengers to get together and mingle. This can be all yours for $13,500. Ever wanted to know what it’s like to be tucked into bed by a flight attendant? Well, Singapore Airlines does just that. You’re immediately given pajamas that are designed by Givenchy, and toiletries by Ferragamo. Your seat can also be transformed into a fluffy bed, where the flight attendants will see to it that you’re tucked in and comfy. Tickets for this experience starts at $15,000. For $25,000, you can have the ultimate first class experience with Cathay Pacific Airlines, where you can have your own pod. This includes a chair that silently transforms into a full length bed. The pod is also adorned with a vase with orchids, so you feel a bit more at home and close to nature. Lufthansa has taken the first class game and improved it. Not only do you get a big comfy chair, but you get a bed as well. The chair is pumped with gadgets as well for your enjoyment. You don’t even have to worry about breathing dry air, as the cabin is pumped with a humidifier. Tickets for this experience starts at $27,000. Finally, these last two airlines are basically like flying hotel rooms. Emirates Airlines offers a private cabin with a mini bar, adjustable lighting, as well as a full shower with a marble sink. So if you really need to freshen up, it’s a lot better than the tiny bathroom in coach. They even have a communal lounge where you can enjoy drinks and hors d’ouerves. All of this can be yours for $30,000. Finally, we have Etihad Airways, who have diamond first class suites with three room cabins. Subscribe for weekly wacky videos and learn interesting facts about the world with awesome top 10 lists and other amazing videos. 8- WOW Airline – A plane owned and operated by the Icelandic airline WOW has unveiled a huge pink plane called “GAY.” Named in February 2016, the plane serves a route to San Francisco and the name is a nod to the gay movement there. The company is known for its unique naming system and has other planes named such things as MOM, DAD, SIS, BRO, and KID. When asked if he worried that people may not want to fly around in a pink plane named GAY, the CEO explained “If I were worried or scared of what people might say about me or what I do, then WOW air wouldn't exist." 7- Free Massages – Air Malta definitely knows what passengers want – and gives it to them! Air Malta provides two professional therapists to help ease tension and the stress of flying with hand, feet and neck massages. The passengers just sit back, relax and enjoy relaxing music through head phones, while the massage therapists get to work. The massages are offered on flights between Gatwick and Malta and the airline says it’s just the beginning of services that will be offered to “enhance the customer’s experience.” 6- Hooters Air – We’re going to assume most passengers just flew this airline for wings, right? Though this airline is now out of business, the popular restaurant chain did try its hand at flight in 2003. Each flight on Hooters Air came fully equipped with two Hooters girls and flight attendants that entertained passengers with trivia games, sold Hooters merchandise, and assisted with beverage service. The inside and outside of the aircrafts also had a Hooters flair. Keeping with the chains traditional colors passengers had large blue leather seats to sit on, and it wasn’t hard to miss the blue and orange aircrafts with the Hooter’s owl on the tail. The airline eventually folded in 2006. 5- Cuddle Class – Airplane seats that can convert to couches or beds – sign us up! Air New Zealand started offering its passengers this perk in 2011. They call the seats “Skycouches” and they allow people to kick their feet up and relax with their loved ones. The Skycouch is a row of economy seats that can be turned into the couch for passengers to stretch out or to have a place for antsy children to spread out and play. 4- Virtual Reality Flight – This is definitely the coolest flight on our list. The Australian airline Qantas teamed up with Samsung in 2015 to begin offering passengers a virtual reality experience like no other on long flights. The virtual reality gear was available for first class passengers on flights in Sydney and Melbourne, and some flights from Australia to Los Angeles. The virtual reality equipment is produced with Oculus and operated using Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Qantas uses the experience to show off the airline’s destinations and services to passengers. 3- Art Gallery – If you’re a fan of art, you’ll love the Virgin Atlantic Upper-class flights between London and New York. The airline unveiled its first in-flight commercial art gallery in February 2013. Appropriately called the Gallery in the Air, the exhibit featured many typography-style works by Ben Eine. Prices for the pieces range between £2,500 to £15,000. This artists’ claim to fame is when David Cameron gave one of his pieces to President Obama as a gift during his first state visit to Washington. Passengers on board would take a virtual tour of the exhibit and could purchase pieces the same way you would purchase duty-free items. 2- Uber – Following the Uber trend, United Airlines got smart and started offering passengers the option of ordering up a ride through their mobile app. Allowing passengers to bypass the long airport taxi lines and hop right into a waiting vehicle, the app offers information such as types of vehicles available, estimated wait times and prices. Once the passenger has signed up for a ride on the United Airlines app, they are then directed to the Uber app to complete the transaction. Customers new to Uber were even rewarded with Mileage Plus award miles to promote the service. 1- Full VIP Service – The airline La Compagnie flies passengers from New York to Paris in style. The seats are massage chairs and recline back into beds. The food served on board is not your typical airplane food, the menu Michelin star worthy. And as if those perks weren’t enough, the airline provides Samsung entertainment tablets to each passengers. It’s hard not to feel like a VIP on board this flight. The only hitch, you’d better be a VIP to be able to afford this one-way transatlantic flight. The standard cost when the flight was launched was £1200 euro – or $1400.

“A common overbooking problem on a United Airlines flight on Sunday ended with a man being bloodied and dragged from his seat and an already troubled airline earning more bad press. How did it all go so wrong?
Overbooking on flights happens all the time. Empty seats cost airlines money, so they offset the number of passengers who miss flights by selling too many tickets.
In this case, the problem arose because United decided at the last minute to fly four members of staff to a connection point and needed to bump four passengers to make way for them.
When there's an overbooking issue the first step is to offer an inducement to the passengers to take a later flight. On Sunday passengers were offered $400 (£322), a hotel room for the night, and a flight the following afternoon.
When no one took the offer, the amount was upped to $800. Still no one bit, so a manager boarded the flight and informed passengers that four people would be selected to leave the flight.
That selection is based on several factors, but frequent fliers and higher fare-paying passengers are given priority to stay aboard, a spokeswoman for United confirmed.”

You’re immediately given pajamas that are designed by Givenchy, and toiletries by Ferragamo. Your seat can also be transformed into a fluffy bed, where the flight attendants will see to it that you’re tucked in and comfy. Tickets for this experience starts at $15,000.
For $25,000, you can have the ultimate first class experience with Cathay Pacific Airlines, where you can have your own pod. This includes a chair that silently transforms into a full length bed. The pod is also adorned with a vase with orchids, so you feel a bit more at home and close to nature. Lufthansa has taken the first class game and improved it. Not only do you get a big comfy chair, but you get a bed as well. The chair is pumped with gadgets as well for your enjoyment. 8- WOW Airline – A plane owned and operated by the Icelandic airline WOW has unveiled a huge pink plane called “GAY.” Named in February 2016, the plane serves a route to San Francisco and the name is a nod to the gay movement there. The company is known for its unique naming system and has other planes named such things as MOM, DAD, SIS, BRO, and KID. When asked if he worried that people may not want to fly around in a pink plane named GAY, the CEO explained “If I were worried or scared of what people might say about me or what I do, then WOW air wouldn't exist."
7- Free Massages – Air Malta definitely knows what passengers want – and gives it to them! Air Malta provides two professional therapists to help ease tension and the stress of flying with hand, feet and neck massages. The passengers just sit back, relax and enjoy relaxing music through head phones, while the massage therapists get to work. The massages are offered on flights between Gatwick and Malta and the airline says it’s just the beginning of services that will be offered to “enhance the customer’s experience.”
6- Hooters Air – We’re going to assume most passengers just flew this airline for wings, right? Though this airline is now out of business, the popular restaurant chain did try its hand at flight in 2003. Each flight on Hooters Air came fully equipped with two Hooters girls and flight attendants that entertained passengers with trivia games, sold Hooters merchandise, and assisted with beverage service. The inside and outside of the aircrafts also had a Hooters flair. Keeping with the chains traditional colors passengers had large blue leather seats to sit on, and it wasn’t hard to miss the blue and orange aircrafts with the Hooter’s owl on the tail. The airline eventually folded in 2006.
5- Cuddle Class – Airplane seats that can convert to couches or beds – sign us up! Air New Zealand started offering its passengers this perk in 2011. They call the seats “Skycouches” and they allow people to kick their feet up and relax with their loved ones. The Skycouch is a row of economy seats that can be turned into the couch for passengers to stretch out or to have a place for antsy children to spread out and play.
4- Virtual Reality Flight – This is definitely the coolest flight on our list. The Australian airline Qantas teamed up with Samsung in 2015 to begin offering passengers a virtual reality experience like no other on long flights. The virtual reality gear was available for first class passengers on flights in Sydney and Melbourne, and some flights from Australia to Los Angeles. The virtual reality equipment is produced with Oculus and operated using Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Qantas uses the experience to show off the airline’s destinations and services to passengers.
3- Art Gallery – If you’re a fan of art, you’ll love the Virgin Atlantic Upper-class flights between London and New York. The airline unveiled its first in-flight commercial art gallery in February 2013. Appropriately called the Gallery in the Air, the exhibit featured many typography-style works by Ben Eine. Prices for the pieces range between £2,500 to £15,000. This artists’ claim to fame is when David Cameron gave one of his pieces to President Obama as a gift during his first state visit to Washington. Passengers on board would take a virtual tour of the exhibit and could purchase pieces the same way you would purchase duty-free items.
2- Uber – Following the Uber trend, United Airlines got smart and started offering passengers the option of ordering up a ride through their mobile app. Allowing passengers to bypass the long airport taxi lines and hop right into a waiting vehicle, the app offers information such as types of vehicles available, estimated wait times and prices. Once the passenger has signed up for a ride on the United Airlines app, they are then directed to the Uber app to complete the transaction. Customers new to Uber were even rewarded with Mileage Plus award miles to promote the service.
1- Full VIP Service – The airline La Compagnie flies passengers from New York to Paris in style. The seats are massage chairs and recline back into beds. The food served on board is not your typical airplane food, the menu Michelin star worthy. And as if those perks weren’t enough, the airline provides Samsung entertainment tablets to each passengers. It’s hard not to feel like a VIP on board this flight. The only hitch, you’d better be a VIP to be able to afford this one-way transatlantic flight. The standard cost when the flight was launched was £1200 euro – or $1400.

When there's an overbooking issue the first step is to offer an inducement to the passengers to take a later flight. On Sunday passengers were offered $400 (£322), a hotel room for the night, and a flight the following afternoon.
When no one took the offer, the amount was upped to $800. Still no one bit, so a manager boarded the flight and informed passengers that four people would be selected to leave the flight.
That selection is based on several factors, but frequent fliers and higher fare-paying passengers are given priority to stay aboard, a spokeswoman for United confirmed.”

You can’t beat first class with the wider seats, the beverages, better food, and service that makes you feel like you’re royalty. If you’re flying across the country, then first class is definitely more comfortable, and you rarely have to deal with the tiny seats and being forced to be in closed quarters with complete strangers. But there are airlines who have taken the concept of first class and bumped it up a notched. Here are some of the most luxurious first class sections in the airline industry. The cost? Well, let’s just say you’ll probably have to save your salary for the next several years to be able to afford it.
For $13,000 you can be a premiere passenger on an Air France flight, which includes a space where you can store all of your valuables, along with a bed, a reading lamp, and curtains so you can have some privacy. Quantas Airlines has a set up similar to that and puts it on steroids. If you’ve ever wanted to have the feeling like you’re on your very own jet, Quantas is the way to go with your own privacy pod that comes with its own suite, as well as a common area for wealthy passengers to get together and mingle. This can be all yours for $13,500.
Ever wanted to know what it’s like to be tucked into bed by a flight attendant? Well, Singapore Airlines does just that. You’re immediately given pajamas that are designed by Givenchy, and toiletries by Ferragamo. Your seat can also be transformed into a fluffy bed, where the flight attendants will see to it that you’re tucked in and comfy. Tickets for this experience starts at $15,000.
For $25,000, you can have the ultimate first class experience with Cathay Pacific Airlines, where you can have your own pod. This includes a chair that silently transforms into a full length bed. The pod is also adorned with a vase with orchids, so you feel a bit more at home and close to nature. Lufthansa has taken the first class game and improved it. Not only do you get a big comfy chair, but you get a bed as well. The chair is pumped with gadgets as well for your enjoyment. You don’t even have to worry about breathing dry air, as the cabin is pumped with a humidifier. Tickets for this experience starts at $27,000.
Finally, these last two airlines are basically like flying hotel rooms. Emirates Airlines offers a private cabin with a mini bar, adjustable lighting, as well as a full shower with a marble sink. So if you really need to freshen up, it’s a lot better than the tiny bathroom in coach. They even have a communal lounge where you can enjoy drinks and hors d’ouerves. All of this can be yours for $30,000. Finally, we have Etihad Airways, who have diamond first class suites with three room cabins. The inside and outside of the aircrafts also had a Hooters flair. Keeping with the chains traditional colors passengers had large blue leather seats to sit on, and it wasn’t hard to miss the blue and orange aircrafts with the Hooter’s owl on the tail. The airline eventually folded in 2006.
5- Cuddle Class – Airplane seats that can convert to couches or beds – sign us up! Air New Zealand started offering its passengers this perk in 2011. They call the seats “Skycouches” and they allow people to kick their feet up and relax with their loved ones. The Skycouch is a row of economy seats that can be turned into the couch for passengers to stretch out or to have a place for antsy children to spread out and play.
4- Virtual Reality Flight – This is definitely the coolest flight on our list. The Australian airline Qantas teamed up with Samsung in 2015 to begin offering passengers a virtual reality experience like no other on long flights. The virtual reality gear was available for first class passengers on flights in Sydney and Melbourne, and some flights from Australia to Los Angeles. The virtual reality equipment is produced with Oculus and operated using Samsung Galaxy Note 4. Qantas uses the experience to show off the airline’s destinations and services to passengers.
3- Art Gallery – If you’re a fan of art, you’ll love the Virgin Atlantic Upper-class flights between London and New York. The airline unveiled its first in-flight commercial art gallery in February 2013. Appropriately called the Gallery in the Air, the exhibit featured many typography-style works by Ben Eine. Prices for the pieces range between £2,500 to £15,000. This artists’ claim to fame is when David Cameron gave one of his pieces to President Obama as a gift during his first state visit to Washington. Passengers on board would take a virtual tour of the exhibit and could purchase pieces the same way you would purchase duty-free items.
2- Uber – Following the Uber trend, United Airlines got smart and started offering passengers the option of ordering up a ride through their mobile app. Allowing passengers to bypass the long airport taxi lines and hop right into a waiting vehicle, the app offers information such as types of vehicles available, estimated wait times and prices. Once the passenger has signed up for a ride on the United Airlines app, they are then directed to the Uber app to complete the transaction. Customers new to Uber were even rewarded with Mileage Plus award miles to promote the service.

The food served on board is not your typical airplane food, the menu Michelin star worthy. And as if those perks weren’t enough, the airline provides Samsung entertainment tablets to each passengers. It’s hard not to feel like a VIP on board this flight. The only hitch, you’d better be a VIP to be able to afford this one-way transatlantic flight. 8- WOW Airline – A plane owned and operated by the Icelandic airline WOW has unveiled a huge pink plane called “GAY.” Named in February 2016, the plane serves a route to San Francisco and the name is a nod to the gay movement there. The company is known for its unique naming system and has other planes named such things as MOM, DAD, SIS, BRO, and KID. When asked if he worried that people may not want to fly around in a pink plane named GAY, the CEO explained “If I were worried or scared of what people might say about me or what I do, then WOW air wouldn't exist."
7- Free Massages – Air Malta definitely knows what passengers want – and gives it to them! Air Malta provides two professional therapists to help ease tension and the stress of flying with hand, feet and neck massages. The passengers just sit back, relax and enjoy relaxing music through head phones, while the massage therapists get to work. In this video, I review my journey from Kuala Lumpur to Sydney on board Malaysia Airlines' new A330-300 business class product. I start off my long journey by checking into my flight at KL Sentral train station. It's a convenient means of dropping off your baggage and collecting your boarding pass in the heart of KL city, then taking a quick 30 minute train ride to KLIA airport. After arriving at KLIA, I make my way to the Satellite Terminal where I spend my time enjoying the MH Golden Lounge. The lounge is very spacious and has plenty of food options to sample. The Federation of Indian Airlines (FIA) has requested the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to provide their member airlines adequate slots and a level playing field so as to start more flight operations from the Pune airport. On June 30, FIA wrote to the AAI authorities in New Delhi to consider its member airlines for the four new pair of slots that were being added at the Pune airport, exclusively for Sundays....
