A second 53-year-old man, from Eatons Hill, was charged with one count of forgery and one of uttering.
The CCC alleged the fraud charges related to the misuse of a university travel card, and the forge and utter charges related to the issuing of a fake invoice.
Both men were expected to appear in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on September 11.
UQ declined to comment as the matter was now before the court.
