The Blood are a London-based punk rock band, formed in 1982. Led by Cardinal Jesus Hate and JJ Bedsore (AKA Colin Smith and Jamie Cantwell), the band formed in the early 1980s under the name "Coming Blood". Their music is a blend of hardcore punk, Oi!, heavy metal, football chants and shock rock.
Many of their songs criticize religion or discuss political or philosophical topics. Their first single, "Megalomania", ridiculed the Pope. Doctor Wild Thing played drums on 'Megalomania'. Their second single release "Stark Raving Normal" (a double A side with Mesrine) criticized one-dimensional patriotism, apathy and mediocrity. The Cardinal calls himself a punk secular humanist. Their first album, False Gestures for a Devious Public featuring Evo (ex Angelic Upstarts,Warfare & Major Accident)on drums (1983), hit the UK top 30 and was voted one of the year’s best releases by Sounds magazine. They used to be managed by Garry Bushell, and their song "Such Fun" was on the Oi! compilation album Oi! Oi! That's Yer Lot!. 'False Gestures For A Devious Public' 1983 also included the song 'Mesrine' which was an anthem about the French iconoclastic gangster Jacques Mesrine. 'Mesrine' by The Blood was released in 1983 which preceded the release of the film of the same name that was made in 1984. J.J. Bedsore died in 2004 of multiple organ failure due to years of chronic alcoholism.
"The Blood" is the 160th episode of the NBC sitcom Seinfeld. This was the fourth episode for the ninth and final season. It aired on October 16, 1997. This was Lloyd Bridges's last television performance before his death.
Jerry's parents are concerned about his lack of exercise and thus Jerry, realizing he is out of shape, starts a purification program to improve his diet. Jerry's parents eventually buy him sessions with an elderly personal trainer, Izzy Mandelbaum, who's going to help him work out. Elaine visits her friend Vivian (Kellie Waymire) and is disappointed when Vivian implies that Elaine is not responsible enough to watch her son Jimmy. Meanwhile, George decides he needs to add food as a part of his sex life when his girlfriend lights some vanilla-scented incense, whose overpowering scent makes him hungry. His girlfriend only tolerates some food items, and is disgusted when George attempts to kiss her while eating a sandwich; George then contrives a way to separate pudding skin from the pudding, creating pudding skin singles and arrives at the decision to add television to his equation so as to make food and sex even better ("the Trifecta"). However, George's girlfriend becomes displeased upon discovering him eating a pastrami sandwich while watching a portable TV during foreplay. This later creates problems for George, as he cannot eat anything without becoming aroused.
The Blood is an album by Christian music artist Kevin Max that was released December 26, 2007.
Unlike Max's previous albums (both solo and as part of dc Talk), The Blood is a gospel album instead of having his usual rock stylings. Max had commented for the press release, stating, "It has taken me almost two decades to come full circle and realize how much gospel music has inspired me and influenced my decisions in music." He also explains a bit more on the style, stating, "The Blood is not a classic hymns cover project or a white/homogenized version of black gospel or soul music, it's a sensitive and stylized adaptation of the music that was at the root of rock and roll, blues, and popular culture."

The lamb and the lion - I destroyed you
I tore your world apart
I left the pieces bleeding in the dark
The light and the darkness - come between us
I built a wall of tears
I built it straight through your heart
it's in the blood - running thruogh my veins
the pain inside is driving me insane
I've done it all befor and I'll do it again and again
cause it's in the blood - it's in the blood
The dream and the nightmare
lay on the pillow
beside you every night
cause what you see is what you get - from me
The light and the darkness come between us
I built a wall of tears
I built it straight through your heart
it's in the blood - running thruogh my veins
the pain inside is driving me insane
I've done it all befor and I'll do it again and again
cause it's in the blood - it's in the blood
Deep in my dreams
I'm all you whant from me
I'm all of light, I'm electricity
