A video of Kyle Sandilands calling a KISS FM listener a 'f---wit' has gone viral, but not for the reason you might think.
Sandilands and his co-host, Jackie Henderson, were taking calls about the upcoming same-sex marriage plebiscite on Thursday when a listener by the name of Mikey was put on air.
"If we say yes to gay marriage, does that mean we're gunna have to say yes for them to have kids?" he asked. "Because I'm totally against them having kids."

A baffled Sandilands pointed out that people in same-sex relationships can - and already do - have children.
"Yeah, but I think it's quite cruel," Mikey replied. "Gays have their option of getting married and being in love and doing what so, but kids don't have the choice of having two mums or two dads. I think it's quite cruel to let them have kids."

"That's the dumbest thing I have ever heard," Sandilands shot back, revealing he once dated a woman with two mums. "Not once - at school, at the supermarket, anywhere - did anyone bully her. Never."

"You're a filthy homophobe pretending to masquerade as someone speaking on behalf of kids," he said. "What about when black men had sex with a white woman, and that wasn't [considered] normal? What do you think about that?"
The caller admitted that was racism, but two men having children was still the "pinnacle of cruel".
"You're a f---wit then, see ya later," Sandilands snapped before dumping the call. "C---head. What a w-----. Go away, you peasant."
The overwhelming majority of KISS FM fans have heaped praise on Sandilands' rant. A video recording the entire exchange has been viewed more than a million times on the Kyle and Jackie O Facebook page, raking up tens of thousands of likes.
However, some have taken the former Big Brother host to task for the way he treated someone he disagreed with.
"I think that's disgusting, Kyle," one person wrote. "Regardless if something is right or wrong, every single person on this earth is entitled to your own opinion without being belittled because it's not what you want to hear."
